2 Min Read

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger from NXT have captured the GHC Tag Team Championship, adding to their accomplishments outside WWE. They secured the title at Pro Wrestling Noah’s Star Navigation event on November 8th, by defeating Masa Kitamiya and Takashi Sugiura.

However, their celebration was short-lived as Naomichi Marufuji and Kenoh quickly stepped up as the first challengers for the newly won titles.

This marks the third tag team title for Hank and Tank in just a year, with each reign occurring in a different wrestling organization. They previously won the Reality of Wrestling Tag Team Championship in December 2024 and the WWE NXT Tag Team Championship at this year’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver.

Moreover, they are not alone in their success outside WWE. Kehlani Jordan from NXT currently holds the TNA Knockouts Championship but has been separated from the NXT roster after supporting TNA at ShowDown. Additionally, Chelsea Green and Ethan Page claimed the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship on November 2 by defeating Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra.

It will be interesting to see if Hank and Tank can defend their title against Marufuji and Kenoh. Stay tuned to SEScoops for updates on these newly crowned GHC Tag Team Champions.

Fan Take: This news is significant for NXT fans as it highlights the growing prominence of their wrestlers on an international stage, showcasing talent beyond WWE. It could potentially elevate the perception of NXT as a training ground for champions in diverse wrestling promotions, which enriches the overall wrestling landscape.
