On Monday’s Raw, AJ Lee made her return to WWE, appearing during the Intercontinental Championship match where Becky Lynch lost the title to a rising star, Maxine Dupri. Later, Rhea Ripley teased an encounter with Lee ahead of Survivor Series in a backstage segment.
SmackDown’s main event showcased the two women’s WarGames teams. Mami promoted her team members, including Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and IYO SKY, while Ripley revealed AJ Lee as the fifth member of her team.
Before Lee could join the ring, Nia Jax, the Rush Legends, and the Kabuki Warriors launched a surprise attack on the babyface, with AJ rushing to assist only to be blocked by Becky Lynch. Despite Ripley’s brave effort, Lynch restrained her, giving Nia the upper hand. The segment concluded with Becky entering, shaking hands with Asuka, and officially securing her spot in the Women’s WarGames match.
