WWE RAW’s Mini John Cena Finally Unmasked: Discover the Superstar Behind the Mask!

2 Min Read

WWE RAW fans tuning in on November 24 anticipated seeing John Cena’s final appearance before Survivor Series, but they were instead treated to an elaborate ruse. At a live event in Oklahoma City, when Cena’s entrance music played, the audience erupted, only to discover the figure was not Cena himself but a smaller impersonator.

During the segment, Dominik Mysterio unexpectedly cut a promo, revealing that Cena was not present. Despite this, Cena’s theme music played loudly, and fans eagerly awaited his arrival. Instead, a diminutive person dressed fully in Cena’s signature outfit—complete with jorts, hat, and entrance mannerisms—stepped out, accompanied by another small figure holding a video camera, wearing a shirt honoring WWE’s longtime cameraman, “STU.”

The impersonator mocked Dominik, who had initially refused to fight, but the confrontation escalated quickly when Dominik landed a cheap shot. Rey Mysterio then rushed in to protect the imposter from further harm by his son.

Speculation about the impersonator’s identity quickly spread among fans, and it was soon revealed that “Fake Cena” was portrayed by Syko, a performer famous for his work with Discoveries’ Micro Wrestling Federation (MWF). Syko is a prominent figure in MWF, which tours nationally and regularly performs in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

This segment blended humor with storyline tension between Cena and Dominik ahead of their Intercontinental Championship match scheduled for November 29 at Petco Park in San Diego, marking the first Survivor Series hosted at this venue.

What do you think about WWE’s creative choice for Cena on RAW? Was the segment entertaining or a miss? Share your thoughts in the comments and weigh in on whether Syko deserves more WWE appearances after stealing the spotlight.
