WWE Chairman Nick Khan Applauds Brock Lesnar’s Triumphant Comeback

WWE superstar Brock Lesnar has been highly praised by WWE Chairman Nick Khan, who expressed his excitement about Lesnar’s return during an appearance on "The Daniel Cormier Show." Khan said it’s an honor to have Lesnar back on the roster and praised how professional and straightforward it is to work with him. Since making his comeback at SummerSlam, where Lesnar attacked John Cena right after Cena lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, Lesnar has quickly reasserted his presence in WWE.

Khan remarked, "When he walks into a room, he looks like the toughest guy around, and usually, that’s exactly what he is. As long as he’s informed ahead of time, working with him is seamless. We’re just glad he’s back." Lesnar had been absent for nearly two years due to his involvement in a lawsuit filed by WWE employee Janelle Grant against Vince McMahon and WWE. Despite the ongoing lawsuit, WWE’s legal team allowed him to return. Prior to his hiatus, his last match was a loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023.

Since his return, Lesnar has competed in only two matches. His first match took place at WWE’s inaugural Premium Live Event (PLE) on ESPN+, where he faced John Cena in what many viewed as a one-sided contest—a disappointing outcome for Cena’s final WWE tour. Lesnar’s second match occurred on November 29th during the men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series. He teamed up with Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, Drew McIntyre, and Bron Breaker, securing a victory over the team led by CM Punk, which included WWE World Heavyweight Champion Punk himself, Cody Rhodes, the Usos, and Roman Reigns.

Looking ahead, Lesnar is expected to feature at WrestleMania 42 and is also likely to participate in the Royal Rumble beforehand. Whether fans are thrilled or divided, Lesnar’s return signals he is here to stay in WWE for the foreseeable future.

Fan Take: Brock Lesnar’s return injects undeniable star power and unpredictability into WWE storylines, which is exactly what the company needs to keep fans engaged. His presence at major events like WrestleMania and the Royal Rumble promises high-stakes moments that could redefine the championship landscape.
