AEW Clash Results (12/6/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Nigel McGuinness, before Orange Cassidy steps into the ring for the first match of the night. Roderick Strong comes down to the ring next. It was announced before the match that Orange Cassidy was not 100%, but was allowed to act inside the ring.
Continental Classic Blue League Match: Paragon’s Roderick Strong vs. Conglomerate’s “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy
The match starts with Cassidy strong grounding us and we get some exchanges from both men. Strong then hits a chop on Cassidy, but Cassidy fights back with a side headlock takedown. Cassidy then takes Strong down with a side headlock takedown. The action then spreads to the outside, with Strong gaining the upper hand. Strong returns to the ring and hits a backbreaker on Cassidy’s knee. Strong then slams Cassidy into the ropes and follows up with a backbreaker. Cassidy has been hit with backbreakers by Strong many times and is clearly hurt.
Then Cassidy reverses with a spinning DDT out of nowhere. Both men fall to the mat. Cassidy then tries to put his hands in his pockets, but Strong chops him. The two then get into a staring contest, and Cassidy kicks Strong out of the ring. Then Cassidy hits a dive to the outside. Cassidy then slams Strong headfirst into the turnbuckle, but Strong counters with a powerslam for a two count.
After a back-and-forth, Strong hits the End of Heartache on Cassidy, but Cassidy kicks out at two. Cassidy then rolls up Strong and gets a two count. Cassidy then counters the End of Heartache and rolls up Strong for the win.

It was then announced that Darby Allin would be withdrawn from the Continental Classic due to being hospitalized after his match with Kevin Knight, and that Jack Perry would take his place. Allin ends the promotion after the announcement, which irritates her. Allin says he wants Perry to win the Continental Classic.
FTR and Big Stork then go down to the ring and Big Stork calls out Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn. Robinson and Gunn get down to the ring. Wheeler said Gunn’s greatest accomplishment was becoming known as “Billy’s Boy” and Robinson’s greatest accomplishment was becoming known as “Mr. Toni Storm.” Harwood then says that the only reason they didn’t fight the Bang Bang Gang is because they knew they had no chance of beating the Bang Bang Gang.
FTR then takes more shots at Robinson and Gunn. Gunn then fought back and FTR avoided putting the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line. Gunn then says that FTR wants their match to be official for the title.
Then we head to the back where Marina Shafir, Daniel Garcia, and Yuta Wheeler cut a promo on Mark Brisco and call him an idiot. Garcia then announced that he would strip Briscoe of the TNT Championship on December 13 in Cardiff, Wales.
Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Mascara Dorada.
Continental Classic Blue League Match: Death Riders CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Claudio Castagnoli vs. CMLL World Trios Champion Mascara Dorada
The match begins with both men locked up, with Castagnoli knocking Dorada down and quickly going for the pin. Castagnoli then knocks Dorada to the mat. Castagnoli then puts Dorada in a headlock. As both men got back to their feet, Castagnoli took Dorada down and covered him for a count of two. Castagnoli then picks Dorada up and chops him, taking him down. Castagnoli then covered Dorada and Dorada kicked out at two. Dorada gets up and runs the ropes, but Castagnoli takes him down with a shoulder block. Dorada got to his feet and jumped off the ropes, sending Castagnoli flying out of bounds. Dorada then ran to the ropes, but was met with a hard right hand from Castagnoli on the apron.
Castagnoli then picked up Dorada and dropped him against the guardrail. Castagnoli then picked Dorada up and dropped him against the guardrail again. Castagnoli then tries to remove Dorada’s mask. Dorada comes back and hits Castagnoli with a chop and kick, but a giant swing sends Dorada into the corner. Castagnoli then hits Dorada with a hard uppercut. Both men then collide and go down. Dorada gets to his feet and sends Castagnoli to the mat with an armdrag takedown. Castagnoli then goes to the floor as Dorada runs the ropes and takes down Castagnoli who was on the floor. Castagnoli then sends Dorada into the iron stairs. Dorada then goes up and knocks Castagnoli down, rolling him into the ring. Dorada then rolls Castagnoli up for a near fall.
Dorada goes to the top rope and breaks out with a crossbody, but Castagnoli catches him and drops him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Castagnoli then covered Dorada, resulting in only a two count, and it was announced that there were 10 minutes left in the match. Dorada then rolls up Castagnoli for just a two count. Dorada is then down and Castagnoli nails Dorada with a big uppercut. Castagnoli then covers Dorada for a two count. Castagnoli then uppercuts Dorada. Castagnoli then grabs Dorada and lifts him up as Dorada and Castagnoli go to the top rope. Dorada then sends Castagnoli to the mat. Dorada then goes up top, but Castagnoli hits a powerful uppercut. Dorada then sent Castagnoli to the mat and covered Castagnoli with a huge shooting star press from the top for the win.

Next, we see clips of Tony Schiavone’s sit-down interviews with Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron) and Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Tony Storm and Mina Shirakawa).
Tony Schiavone then introduces Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana and they come down to the ring. Strickland values the love he receives from his fans. Strickland announced his return two weeks ago after a three-month hiatus. Strickland says he has worked to become the most dangerous version of himself. Strickland then says he only has one goal: to become AEW World Champion. Strickland then says that Samoan Joe is avoiding him and brings up how he defeated Joe to win his first AEW World Title.
Then Strickland says Joe will fall into his hands again. Next, Strickland focuses on Hangman Page. Strickland said he would never see eye to eye with Page, but their feud was legendary. Strickland then says he is open to partnering with Hangman Page for one night only on “Winter Is Coming.”
Josh Alexander then intercepted Swerve Strickland. The Don Callis family now runs the place, Alexander said. Alexander also brings up that Kazuchika Okada, a member of the Don Callis family, injured Strickland. Alexander then praises himself and says he is the one who has a shot at the title, not Swerve Strickland. Strickland then challenged Alexander to a match at Winter is Coming, which Alexander accepted. Then Katsuyori Shibata attacked Strickland with a knee from behind. Strickland then gets into a standoff with Alexander.
Next, we head over to the corner where Lexi Naar interviews AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone. Monet says she doesn’t want to talk about her loss in the final battle. And Monet sends a warning to Layla Gray ahead of tonight’s match at Collision.
Mercedes Mone then makes her way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Layla Gray.

The match begins with Monet attacking Gray. Monet then defeats Christopher Daniels in Meteora. Gray then fought back against Mone in the ring, earning a two count.
