Ex-Champion Bids Farewell: Official Exit from TNA Wrestling Announced

Masha Slamovich seems to have departed from TNA Wrestling. On December 9, she was removed from the promotion’s official website, signaling the conclusion of her time with the company.

Fightful Select reports that Slamovich officially ended her contract with TNA after it expired in late October. Since joining the roster full-time in 2021, she secured one Knockouts World Championship and two Knockouts World Tag Team Championships alongside Killer Kelly.

Slamovich has not been active in wrestling since September, following serious domestic violence allegations made by her ex-partner and fellow wrestler Akira. In that month, Akira’s friends shared photos and text messages accusing Slamovich of physical and verbal abuse during their relationship.

In response, Slamovich described their relationship as “toxic and mutually destructive” but vanished from the public eye. TNA stopped featuring her in television tapings after September 5, effectively ending her on-screen presence well before her contract’s official end.

The repercussions extended beyond TNA, as several independent wrestling promotions canceled her bookings, and she was stripped of the Jersey Championship Wrestling Championship shortly after the allegations emerged. There is no current information on if or when she might return to professional wrestling.

Fan Take: This development is significant for TNA Wrestling fans, as Slamovich was a prominent figure in the Knockouts division, and her absence leaves a notable gap in the roster. It also highlights the growing importance of accountability in wrestling, signaling potential shifts in how the industry handles personal conduct allegations.
