Penta has officially withdrawn from AAA’s Titan War, dashing hopes for a complete reunion with Rey Fenix on December 20th. This decision is definitive and made directly by him.

In an Instagram video, Penta spoke directly to his supporters and confirmed what many had been fearing: he won’t be able to complete the necessary medical evaluations in time to participate.

“Hello, Penta here from Lucha Libre. I’m reaching out today to share some news with you all.”

“As you may know, I recently injured my shoulder. I’ve been doing everything I can and working with doctors in both Mexico and the U.S. Unfortunately, I’m not medically cleared to return to the ring by December 20th.”

Despite this setback, Penta will still be present at the event. He shared with fans that he intends to attend Titan War, along with news of a major replacement.

“But I will be at the event in person because it’s a must-see for me. I have fantastic news for everyone attending.”

“The wrestler stepping in for me is none other than the legendary Rey Mysterio. For the first time, my brother Rey Fenix and Rey Mysterio will team up, and you won’t want to miss it.”

Penta didn’t stop at just the announcement; he also had a message for Dominik Mysterio.

“And this one’s for you, Dominic. You managed to escape this time. I don’t know what you did, but mark my words—I won’t rest until I take the Intercontinental Championship from you.”

“See you soon, Dominic. See you in Guadalajara. And you already know… Sero.”

Penta’s injury occurred during the November 24 episode of WWE RAW against Solo Chicoa. A poorly executed hurricanrana from the barricade led to an immediate stoppage of the match by officials. Since then, both fans and doctors have closely monitored his recovery, but ultimately, WWE did not clear him to compete.
