The Undertaker has just stepped into a viral trend that is sweeping the wrestling world, and fans can’t get enough of it.
In a surprise appearance, the WWE Hall of Famer teamed up with popular influencer Haroon Twins for the hilarious and perfectly timed “Turn Off the Lights” video that went viral online.
In an Instagram video, The Deadman locks the twins in a double chokeslam pose. The moment he grabbed them by the throat, the familiar beat of DJ KATO and Jon Nørgaard’s 2010 song “Turn the Lights Off” began, in sync with the viral meme format that swept timelines, with the caption: “Turn the Lights Off.” “When you can do that even when you’re 60 years old.”
The video follows another version of the meme in which The Miz criticizes John Cena’s retirement. In that version, Miz compared his accomplishments to Cena’s and touted his status as a two-time Grand Slam champion.
“When you’re a two-time Grand Slam champion and Cena retires with only one. If the ‘greatest of all time’ only has one and I have two, can you say that to me…”
Both clips have gone viral on social media, and fans are especially excited to see The Undertaker not only savoring the moment, but also showing that at 60 years old, he can still steal the show in a big way.
From the Deadman to the Trend King—The Undertaker reminded everyone why he remains one of the most iconic names in wrestling. And now he’s gearing up to gain a lot of attention online as well.
What did you think of The Undertaker’s viral moment with the Haroon Twins – a legendary throwback or just a fun cameo? Leave your reaction in the comments and let us know if he’s still your Deadman.
