AEW Dynamite/Collision Holiday Bash Results (December 17, 2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show begins with Excalibur, Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us and the match starting with Jon Moxley and Roderick Strong already in the ring for the first match of the night.

Continental Classic Blue League Match: Paragon’s Roderick Strong vs. Death Riders’ Jon Moxley

Strong goes on the offensive early in the match, forcing Moxley into the corner before the referee intervenes. Moxley then takes Strong to the mat and takes control, but Strong quickly fights back and backs Moxley into the corner and hits a chop. Both fighters then return to center and exchange blows. Things then go to the outside as Strong closes in on Moxley. Moxley then fights back as a fight begins in the crowd. Moxley then finally takes things back to ringside before returning to the ring, hits the ropes and dives into Strong, and both men go down.

Moxley takes Strong to the mat and takes firm control, going after Strong’s face and head before Strong rolls Moxley onto his shoulders and breaks the hold with a nearfall. Both men were on their feet, and when they heard 10 minutes had passed, Moxley had enough of a strong down to set up a Gotch-style piledriver. Strong then broke free and sent Moxley out of the ring, then took him to the floor. Strong then takes Moxley to the ring and slams him into the ring before Moxley goes for a lariat for a furious attack. Strong dodges it, picks Moxley up and slams him to the canvas. Strong then hit a forearm strike off the ropes, slamming Moxley to the mat again for a near fall. Moxley then escapes a stronghold attempt, only for Strong to intercept him on the outside and Moxley sets him up on the stairs.

Strong then escapes before slamming Moxley into the stairs. The referee then begins a count and the count reaches six when both men return to the ring. Moxley then catches Strong in the corner, but the match goes back and forth until Strong superplexes Moxley to the mat and gets a two count. Both men then got back up and fought back, with Strong avoiding the Tiger Driver’s Paradigm Shift. Moxley then stops a stronghold attempt with five minutes left, dropping Strong twice and getting two nearfalls. Moxley then locks in a modified sleeper hold, but Strong manages to roll towards the ropes and force a break. Strong then took Moxley down for a two count, eventually cinching him in a stronghold. Moxley is struggling here, crawling towards the ropes.

Strong then changed his grip on Hall, which was enough for Moxley to break out. He then sends Strong out of the ring and when Strong charges again, he runs into Moxley’s Paradigm Shift. Moxley then goes for a cover, but Strong manages to kick out at two. Moxley then hit Strong with the Death Rider for the win.

After the match, Moxley raises his arms in celebration as the commentary promotes tonight’s match.

Then we go to the back where Eddie Kingston cuts a promo. Kingston says it’s either win or learn. Kingston later acknowledged his tapout loss to Samoa Joe and said he learned from it and it could be bad news for everyone he faces next. Kingston then says let’s meet again, maybe at Collision to see who wants to step up and see what he learned.

Don Callis then makes his way down to the ring as Konosuke Takeshita and Hexero introduce the next match of the night. And then Kazuchika Okada comes down to the ring. The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega then go down to the ring for the next match of the night.

$1,000,000 Winner Wins All Trios Matches: The Elite (“The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) vs. Don Callis Family (AEW Unified Champion “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita, Hexero)

The match begins with Takeshita and Omega, and the crowd cheers for Omega as they circle the mat. Takeshita then locks him in a side headlock, but Omega escapes to the ropes and runs into Takeshita’s boot. He then makes a tag to Nick, and Elite attacks Takeshita in the corner. Omega hits a backbreaker and Nick hits a leg drop. Later, the Don Callis family returns and Hexero works on Nick’s treatment.

Okada then isolates Nick in the heel corner. Hexero then catches Nick in the ropes and stomps on him. He then applies a knee submission before Nick briefly fights back. Nick then escapes from the Don Callis Family and tags along with Omega. Omega then hits Hexero with several hammer throws before defeating him. Hexero then rakes Omega’s eyes. Omega then counters with a suplex on Okada. Furthermore, Okada teams up with Hexero, who corners Omega. Omega hits Hexero with a hurricanrana, nails Takeshita and Okada to the apron and goes for Hexero again, but Takeshita tags in. Omega sends Takeshita to the corner for a triple team, but Okada comes in and fights off Elite.

Okada was then chased out of the ring, the crowd applauded Terminator style, and a triple dive by the Elite sent the Don Callis Family to the floor. Hexero then tags in and hits Matt with a spinning hammerlock in the ring to give chase. The last few minutes have been all about the Don Callis family. Matt then hits a superkick on Hexero, but Okada blocks the tag. Matt then hits Takeshita with a Stunner and slams him to the floor. Matt also bulldogs Okada on the mat and tags in Nick. Nick receives a double team from Takeshita and Okada. Nick manages to hold on and comes out on top.

Nick then hits Okada with a running boot and follows up with a cutter on Takeshita on the mat. The Bucks then hit Takeshita with a splash and standing moonsault combo for a two count. Takeshita then blocks Nick with a series of elbow strikes. Hexero then hits a backbreaker, but Nick blocks him with the Canadian Destroyer. Then Okada tags in and Omega makes a tag as well, and the crowd goes wild. Both men then traded strikes as the crowd chanted. After a back-and-forth, Nick hit Takeshita with a faceplant, and Takeshita responded with a series of elbows.

Takeshita then takes down with a German suplex. Okada then stops Nick in front of the Don Callis Family triple team mat. Takeshita then hits a power drive knee, but Omega breaks the pinfall attempt. Communication between the Don Callis family is poor, and Omega and Takeshita are currently in charge of legal matters. Omega then hits Takeshita, Hexero, and Okada with a snapdragon suplex. Elite then hit a triple superkick on Hexero. Omega then hits Hexero with a V-Trigger. Omega then won with an assisted V-Trigger on Hexero.

Winner of the $1,000,000 Winner Takes All Trios Match, The Elite (“The Best Bout Machine” Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson)!

After the match, Takeshita and Okada engaged in a beatdown. They hit multiple Raging Fires and Rainmakers against the Bucks before facing off. Omega then appears with a broom and clears Heel’s ring. The referee then retrieves the bag of money and hands it to Omega, who stands on the Bucks side and celebrates.

Tony Schiavone then introduces the three men who will compete for the AEW World Championship at World’s End. “Hangman” Adam Page, Swerve Strickland, and Samoa Joe then come down to the ring. Tony Schiavone then mentioned that it was a deal for an AEW World Championship match at World’s End. Samoa Joe then asks Schiavone to shut up. Joe then explained that he took his sons out to ensure everyone’s safety and to avoid triggering anyone to do something stupid. He then signs the contract as the crowd chants “Who’s home? Swerve’s home”, which infuriates Joe, who says he will leave World’s End as champion and hopes they both make it to the show safely.

And Strickland said he is returning to AEW with his eyes set on the AEW World Championship. He then mentioned the mutual respect between him and Page, while also mentioning the mutual hatred they have for Samoa Joe. He then remembered that he had to sign a contract for the title in a pool of his own blood last year, so he paid Joe back by taking the title away from him. I’m also going to give back to Joe all the hardships he has to go through by stripping me of the title. He then beats Joe to the teeth and promises to make him even uglier than he was in 2007 when he got a tattoo on his face.

Strickland then signs the contract. Now, Page has opened up about the hell he went through to finally win back the world title, especially against the Death Riders. He then talks about how he took on that challenge alone and ended up winning the world title from Jon Moxley at All In: Texas. He then talked about how he knew he was going to be facing people he was fighting with and that he asked Ops to help Joe win the title. Page then stated that he hopes Samoa Joe’s legacy isn’t defined by assholes like the current Joe, who draw chants along those lines from the audience. Joe then says if someone knew it was a godforsaken town. Page then says he knew the time would come when he would face Swerve across the ring.

Page said afterward that if he had been facing Swerve one-on-one for the title, he would have expected nothing less, but that’s not the world we live in. He then let Joe run around a bit more before finally signing the contract. Tony then approves a three-way match for the PPV, but before he can finish speaking, the lights go out, MJF’s music plays, and he makes his exit to a roar as the crowd sings along to his music. MJF then gets in the ring and demands the music be cut. He then asked for his contract at ringside and signed it to give to Schiavone, when chants of “MJF” could be heard from the crowd. Tony then announced that he had cashed in the surefire title match that MJF had won by going all in, making this a four-way match. MJF then slashed Schiavone and told him to leave the ring.

MJF then talks about why he’s competing against three men for the title as he prepares to become an actual Hollywood star. MJF then talked about dealing with really hurting Page and focusing on “Seabiscuit”, saying he wants to take down two of his strongest competitors at once while taking the title from afar. Joe then begins to speak, but is interrupted and reminded that no physical activity between men is allowed in this match. MJF then cornered Joe, culminating in Joe saying he would defeat the champion at the same event that ended MJF’s title reign. Swerve then interrupts telling MJF that he needs to be afraid of him, which causes MJF to zero in on Strickland and compare him to P. Diddy of all people before wanting to “talk about” this being Swerve’s home.

He then brought up the two’s shared history, before they parted ways with Strickland, who was “working his way to Top Dollar” during his time in WWE before moving on to AEW. He then corners Swerve a little more before telling him that this is MJF’s house, the rent is due, and the Devil is coming to collect it. He then says that since he runs the family business at World’s End, I can call him Don Corleone. Then he says do you happen to know why because he is MJF and is better than you and you know that. MJF then dropped the mic and left the ring as the crowd chanted along to his music.

Next, Jetspeed talks about his focus on the rest of the Continental Classics. Both have big matches coming up in the Continental Classic at Collision.

Marina Shafir, Megan Bain, Athena and Megan Bain then go down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Timeless Love Bombs and Babes of Wrath.

8-man tag match: AEW TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Monet, ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena and Mega Problems (Death Riders’ “The Problem” Marina Shafir and “The Megasus” Megan Bayne vs. AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron) and Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Tony Storm & Mina Shirakawa)

The match started with Nightingale and Mone, with Nightingale quickly slamming Mone down before teaming up with Cameron for a double team and getting a two count. Athena then tags in and gets a takedown on Cameron, but gets sent to the mat herself. Furthermore, Shafir makes a tag and incorporates it into Cameron, and Shirakawa makes a blind tag and surprises Shafir with a tourneo, forcing him on the verge of a fall. Bane then goes for a double team, but Shirakawa dodges it and hits a figure four on Shafir, followed by a DDT on Megan. After that, Storm gets an assist, but the match continues in chaos as the ball goes out of bounds.

Storm pushes Shafir to the mat multiple times and is now in control. Shafir then goes to the corner, only for Athena to block Storm Zero’s attempt and take him down with a hip attack. Monet and Cameron also join, but they cancel each other out, leaving Storm and Shafir. Bane and Nightingale then team up and Nightingale hits a big spinebuster for two, knocking Bane to the mat.

Shafir then begins to attack, but is sent flying out of bounds. Athena then gets the tag and dives, but is intercepted by Nightingale’s pounce. In the midst of the chaos, Monet gets his own tag before Nightingale is caught by Athena’s O-Face, giving Monet the victory.

The winners of the 8-person tag team match are AEW TBS Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Monet, ROH Women’s World Champion “The Fallen Goddess” Athena, and Mega Problems (Death Riders’ “The Problem” Marina Shafir and “The Megasus” Megan Bain)!

After the match, the heels celebrate their victory.

PAC then goes down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Kyle Fletcher.

Continental Classic Gold League Match: Death Riders’ “The Bastard” PAC vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Protostar” Kyle Fletcher

The match starts with both men locking up before trying to gain an early advantage. PAC then grounds Fletcher and applies an armbar. Then Fletcher reverses with a scoop slam. Both fight back at each other before PAC hits a hurricanrana on Fletcher. Fletcher then avoids a sliding baseball and hits PAC with punches and a lariat to the floor. Fletcher then returns to the ring and tackles PAC until he is sent outside. PAC then hit Fletcher with a boot to the face and then hit a hurricanrana off the apron as the referee started counting.

PAC then brings Fletcher back into the ring and hears the crowd cheering, distracting him long enough for Fletcher to fight back. PAC then fires back with an avalanche belly-to-belly suplex, sending Fletcher crashing to the mat. Fletcher then counters with PAC’s modified Michinoku Driver and manages to regain control after a successful near fall. He then uses the ropes to get back up in the corner, only for PAC to drop him to the canvas before climbing the turnbuckle. Fletcher then leaves the ring, only for PAC to change the trajectory of the moonsault and drop Fletcher to the floor. He then brought Fletcher back into the ring and hit a suplex for a two count.

Fletcher gets up when he hears there’s 10 minutes left, and PAC chases him in the corner, but Fletcher hits a Ligerbomb and gets his own two count. PAC then stands up in the corner, but gets hit with a running kick from Fletcher, fights him off against the ropes, and goes up top, where Fletcher catches PAC in the air. PAC then grabs Fletcher’s arm and puts him in a crucifix hold, rolling him to the mat and going for the Brutalizer. Fletcher was weakening, but was able to get his boot onto the ropes in the nick of time. PAC then runs to the ropes and goes for a big lariat, but it only gets a two count.

PAC then goes up top for Black Arrow, but Fletcher hits him with a Sheerdrop Brainbuster and PAC kicks out at two. Fletcher then took PAC to the corner and stood PAC on the top rope, whereupon PAC began to fight back, leading to a reverse rana off the top rope that sent Fletcher crashing to the mat. PAC then went to the top and hit Black Arrow for the victory.
