AEW Dynamite Ratings and Viewership Breakdown: December 17, 2025 Insights

2 Min Read

“AEW Dynamite” experienced a slight drop in both overall viewership and key demographic ratings as the promotion gears up for its upcoming pay-per-view event, World’s End. Wrestlenomics reports that the December 17th episode attracted 511,000 viewers, down 1% from the previous week’s 516,000. The key demographic rating fell marginally from 0.09 to 0.08. While the UK audience for the show was slightly above the recent four-week average at 504,000 viewers, its rating dipped by 0.02 compared to that same period.

The Holiday Bash episode included two Continental Classic League bouts, with victories by Jon Moxley and PAC, as well as a $1 million trios match won by The Elite. The final contest was the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal, featuring Ricochet and Bandido as the last two competitors. This marked the first time Dynamite was taped in the UK, with its sister show Collision recorded immediately afterward. The next edition of Dynamite will be taped back in the U.S., from New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, and will showcase the Dynamite Diamond Ring final along with more Continental Classic matches ahead of the World’s End pay-per-view.

Fan Take: This small dip in viewership shows that AEW’s international ventures, while exciting, may come with challenges in maintaining ratings momentum. Fans should watch closely as the return to the U.S. tapings and the build toward World’s End could reignite enthusiasm and bring back a stronger audience engagement for AEW.
