Things are about to get strange on WWE Raw.
On January 5th, WWE Raw will mark its one-year anniversary on Netflix with a special event that includes a unique crossover featuring the popular Netflix series “Stranger Things.” Each episode of Raw that night will be themed around “Stranger Things,” blending the thrilling atmosphere of Monday Night Mayhem with the eerie world of Hawkins, Indiana.
To build excitement for this collaboration, Netflix released a teaser showcasing WWE stars like CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns, Kairi Sane, Gunther, and Penta alongside “Stranger Things” actors Finn Wolfhard (Mike Wheeler), Maya Hawke (Robin Buckley), and Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas Sinclair).
It’s still uncertain if the “Stranger Things” cast will physically appear on the January 5th Raw broadcast live from Brooklyn. The night’s lineup includes three major matches: Becky Lynch vs. Maxine Dupri for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Bron Breaker challenging CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and the Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) defending the Women’s Tag Team titles against Rhea Ripley & IYO SKY.
“Stranger Things,” currently in its final fifth season, will conclude with an episode airing on December 31st. The show originally premiered on Netflix in 2016.
