WWE RAW Results (12/29/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with a meet and greet from Joe Tessitore, followed by a screening of the host venue’s exterior. Next, we get a video package recapping Austin Theory’s action from last week’s RAW. Rey Mysterio is then shown entering the Kia Center with his dog. The Usos will also be in attendance as they battle AJ Styles and Dragon Lee for the World Tag Team Championship. Later, Women’s World Champion Stefanie Vaquel walks backstage with her title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez and WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
The Vision (WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman, “Big” Bronson Reed, Bron Breaker, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory) then appeared backstage. They then start walking and go through the gorilla stance and descend into the ring. Paul Heyman starts by introducing himself, but the crowd screams CM Punk. Paul then says that CM Punk could have stood here but he had to appease all the fans to stop listening to him. Then Paul said let’s start this all over again.
Paul then introduces himself again. Paul then said that what he said was an advertisement for where he was going to be on the final RAW in 2025, and Paul went on to say that everything he said was justifying things that didn’t need to be justified. And Paul said that in five years, if you scroll down on any platform, you’ll see the main eventer of WrestleMania. Afterward, Paul thanked the fans for supporting Roman Reigns. And Paul says that five years ago tonight, you’ll find them all standing here in front of you right now. So Paul said that this is an important sentence. Paul then says that the rumors are true and that the newest member of The Vision is Austin Theory. Paul then tells Austin to earn his keep while giving him the microphone.
And the theory says that he has been waiting for this moment all his life. And Theory says he has spent his entire career preparing for this moment. Then Theory says he has a lot to talk about. Theory then says that he would like to first talk about the next world champion, Bron Breaker. Theory then asks Paul to educate him on this part. Paul then says that group goals are more important than the individual needs of group members. CM Punk’s music then interrupts and he comes out on stage.
Punk then tells Theory that he has been playing tricks on him and drinking gallons of Kool-Aid. Punk then says that he didn’t come to hear about Austin, but about another boy, Bron Breaker. Punk then says he’s been called many things. Punk then says he hopes someone in the group has a brain. Punk then says he’s looking at Paul to explain to Bron that the match is set for next week. Punk then says you can come there to say something and you’ll do something to him. Punk then says there will be no title match next week. Punk then asks if he’s tougher than smart. Punk then says that he likes to look someone in the eye before putting them to bed.
Punk then says, if you’re not scared, why don’t we take you guys out of the ring and clear the air face to face. Punk says he has some things to say to Bron. Punk then asks Bron if he’s scared. Punk then goes up to the ring steps. Bron then says you’re the only one he’s scared of and invites Punk into the ring. Bron then says he won’t hurt her. Paul then suggests that everyone step back and let Bron do his thing on the microphone. They then leave the ring and Punk makes his entrance.
Punk asks Bron what he has and Bron calls him “kid”. Bronn asks why they are standing here. Bronn then says why do they exist and why are they here? Bron then said he was considering things for the future. Bron said they’re looking through the same lens. Bron then says look at Bronson Reed. Bron then says look at Logan Paul. Bron then says look at the Austin theory. Then Bronn said he was there. Bron then says that he will be the next world champion. Bron then said that he was tired of Punk and everyone else saying he was the future, and that he would settle it in the main event at WrestleMania. Then Bron says he’s not in the future, he’s in the now. Then Bron said, how bold of you to say you were the new shiny toy. Then Bronn says that if you say you fail under the shining lights, they will drop him. Bron then told him to go behind the scenes and find someone who could do what he could. Then Bronn told him to find someone to take over in a shorter period of time. And Bron said, find someone who was born into this industry. Then Bron asked him to find a dog bigger than him.
Bron then says you might hate him because he hasn’t paid his dues. Bronn then says that I think you’ve been leaving everything to him, but it was easy because of his bloodline. Bron said everything he had to do was done under a microscope. Bron then says he’s being held at the highest level. Then Bron says you don’t respect him because he wasn’t in the indies, but he was on the field with Lamar Jackson. Bronn then said that he was willing to die for that title, and so were you. Bron then says he forgives Punk. Bron then puts Punk on the ground and says he will defeat him and become the new world champion.
Punk then says your first mistake is guessing what he thinks of you. Punk then asks if he thought he was going to say he wasn’t ready. Then Punk says you’re more ready than anyone in the back, more ready than anyone in the group. Punk then says he’s not ready yet. Punk then says he wants what he has. Punk then drops his title belt and asks Bron to pick it up. Then Punk says it’s heavier than he thought. Punk then says he already won, but he’s not ready to go yet. Punk then says he’s not going to get the privilege of going to a packed arena and asking Orlando on Monday night if he’s okay with being alive. Punk then says he’s not ready to stop being champion. Then Punk says you’re big, bad, tough and fast. Then Punk says we’re not the same. Then Punk says one of us is CM Punk. Punk then says that someday someone will beat him for the title, but it won’t be you. Punk then tells Bron that he will meet him next week.
We then head to the back where Jackie Redmond is with Raquel Rodriguez and asks about tonight’s title match and the chaos that is going on. Raquel says there will be no tricks tonight. Raquel then says that no one will stop her from winning the title. Liv then appears and interrupts her. She then says that since JD and Dominic are out, they need her to work. Then Rachel said she could handle this alone. Liv then says that she knows everyone except Roxanne. Raquel then wants to know what Roxanne said. Roxanne appears and Liv says she wants to make Raquel the champion. Roxanne wishes her luck, but Raquel says she doesn’t need luck.
Nikki Bella then makes her way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Raquel Rodriguez and Stefani Vaquel.
WWE Women’s World Championship Triple Threat Match: “La Primera” Stefani Vaquel (c) vs. WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella vs. Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez
The match begins with all three women circling, with Raquel yelling at Vaquel. Nikki then pushes Raquel away. Raquel then pushes Nikki away. Raquel then hits Nikki with a shoulder tackle. Vaquel then hits a rollup on Raquel and Nikki ruins the Devil’s Kiss. Nikki. Then goes to the floor and she dropkicks Raquel as Vaquel moves. Nikki then sends Vaquel into the ringside barrier. Nikki then sends Raquel into the ring steps. Nikki then sends Vaquel into the ring and into the turnbuckle. Nikki then hits an Irish whip and a clothesline in the corner. Nikki then goes to the turnbuckle and Raquel sends Vaquel to the mat and drags Nikki off the turnbuckle. Raquel then slams Nikki and follows up with a forearm to the back.
Raquel then shoulder slams Vaquel in the corner and splashes Nikki. Raquel then hits a splash on Vaquel followed by a lawnmower elbow. Raquel then collided with a snap mare, nearly causing her to fall. Vaquel hits a shoulder to the midsection, but Raquel hits a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Vachel then locks in a top wristlock and a chin bar. Vaquel then hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Vachel then goes back to the top wristlock and hits an elbow. Nikki goes for a crossbody off the turnbuckle, but Raquel catches her and hits a fallaway slam.
Raquel then hits Vaquel with a knee kick and a goalie special. Vaquel then escapes, but Raquel hits a shoulder tackle and gets Vaquel back with a gory special. Raquel then takes a bridge, but she nearly falls. Vaquel then hits a sunset flip on Raquel for a near fall and Nikki hits a kick on Raquel. Vaquel then attempts a devil’s kiss on Nikki, but Raquel hits a kick to block it. Raquel then sends Nikki to the floor and Raquel hits a forearm to Vaquel. Raquel then misses a splash and Vaquel is sent to the apron. Vaquel then goes up top and Nikki pulls Vaquel off the turnbuckle. Raquel then misses a kick and Nikki drops her foot into the ropes. Vaquel then hits a crossbody on Raquel. Nikki then sent Vaquel into the ring post and Nikki hit a STF on Raquel.
Raquel then escapes and locks in a kneebar. Vaquel also puts Raquel in a Devi’s Kiss and hits it. Raquel still applies the kneebar, so Nikki gets to her knees. Vaquel then sends Nikki into the turnbuckle and hits a running knee on Raquel. Nikki then hits a boot to Vaquel. Vaquel then blocks a kick and hits a Dragon Screw. Raquel then misses her boot in the corner and gets caught in the ropes. Vaquel then hits Raquel with a Dragon Screw. Nikki then hits a leg sweep on Vaquel on the apron. Raquel then captures both women and they stop Raquel. Raquel then hits a clothesline from Vaquel and Nikki to the apron. Raquel then attacked Nikki at the announce desk.
After that, Raquel almost falls to Vaquel. Raquel then kicks Vaquel several times. Raquel then hit a boot and Vaquel blocked the kick and kicked Raquel in the leg. Then Vaquel headbutts her and Raquel hits a clothesline for a near fall. Raquel hotshots Nikki on the apron. Nikki then kicks Raquel away, but Raquel sends Nikki back to the mat. Raquel then hits a Twisting Vader Bomb Elbow Drop for a near fall. Raquel then kicks Nikki and she punches Vaquel and goes back to the lawnmower elbow. Raquel then puts Vaquel on the turnbuckle and Vaquel hits a few forearms. Vachel then hits the boot.
Vaquel then hits a triangle choke on the ropes and Nikki hits a dropkick on Vaquel. Nikki then goes up top and Raquel hits a forearm. Raquel then carries Nikki over her shoulders and Vaquel gets on the turnbuckle. Nikki then hits a sunset flip powerbomb on Raquel and Raquel superplexes Vaquel. Nikki then almost falls for them both. Raquel then gets Vaquel to her feet and Nikki hits Vaquel with a boot. Nikki then nearly falls over Raquel. Raquel then blocks a headscissors takedown. Nikki then lands on her feet and Nikki hits a back elbow. Nikki then hits a springboard roundhouse kick. Vaquel then hits a butterfly facebuster for a near fall.
Vaquel then hits a jawbreaker on Raquel, and Raquel blocks a tornado DDT. Vakele then gets an inside cradle and counters a suplex for a near fall. Raquel then hits a clothesline on Vaquel and she drags Vaquel into the corner. Nikki then drags Raquel out of the ring to prevent Raquel from hitting the Double Jump Twist Vader Bomb Elbow Drop. Nikki then gets a rollup on Raquel for a near fall. Raquel then tries a double Tejana Bomb on Nikki and Vaquel, but Vaquel escapes. Raquel then hit a Tejana Bomb on Nikki, Nikki dragged Raquel to the floor, and Vaquel pinned Nikki for the victory.

We then headed to the backside where Jackie Redmond stopped Gunther and asked if he had been rude to John Cena. Gunther says he made Cena tap out. R-Truth then appears and tells Gunther that he needs to stop being so rude. And he said you made John Cena tap out. Then he says if you sing the same old songs every week, you’re going to be shit. Then the truth is that Gunther is not a good person. Truth then says he won’t let it happen again. Gunther laughs at the truth and asks if it’s a challenge. He then told Makoto to meet him in the ring.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka then come down to the ring. Asuka started by saying that she faced Rhea Ripley last week and she won. Asuka says you guys think Mami is stupid enough to deal with her. Then Asuka screams in Japanese. Then Asuka says, “You guys are idiots.” Sane repeats what Asuka said. Sane then says IYO should never have made her angry. Asuka then screamed at Kairi, forcing her to jump to her feet. Asuka then steals Kairi’s microphone. Asuka then clears her throat and says that IYO and Rhea paid the price for their disrespect last week. Asuka said that there is no one ready to join the Kabuki Warriors.
Rhea Ripley’s music then plays and she appears on stage with IYO SKY. They then walk towards the ring. Kairi and Asuka then wait for them in the ring and they leave as Rhea and IYO arrive at the ring. Asuka and Kairi are followed by Rhea and IYO on the floor. Rhea then superkicks Asuka, but Sane chases IYO back to the announce desk. Rhea then punches Thane. Asuka then slams Rea from behind and Asuka sends IYO over the ringside fence. Asuka and Sane then hit some forearms and a double sled to Rhea’s back. Sane then goes up top, but IYO pushes him off the turnbuckle. Furthermore, IYO kicks Asuka and Rhea. Sane then escapes Riptide, but Rhea hits a back elbow and a Shining Wizard.
Then we head to the back and Rey Mysterio and CM Punk stop by. Ray says he knows Punk is on his side, but he’s fine. Ray then said he had a title to defend next week. Ray then says that tonight will be okay.
Gunther then goes down to the ring and addresses the crowd for the next match of the night. Gunther says your anger is misdirected. Gunther then says tell it to your superhero who taps out something outrageous. R-Truth then makes his way down to the ring for his next match that night.
Single match: “The Ring General” Gunther vs. R-Truth
The match starts with Truth hitting punches and chops, followed by kicks. Truth then misses a scissor kick and Gunther hits a chop and kick. Then Gunter hits a slam. Gunther then hits a chop, but Truth responds with a forearm. Gunther then hits a chop and Truth goes down. Truth then lands on his feet with a belly to back suplex attempt and Truth finishes him off with a sleeper. Gunther then backs Truth into the corner and Gunther hits a chop on the break. Then Gunther hits a clothesline. Truth then hits two flying shoulder tackles, but GUNTHER hits a boot and a powerbomb. GUNTHER then pulls Truth up at two. Gunther then hits an elbow to the collarbone and applies a sleeper. The referee then calls the bell.
The winner of the single match is “Ring General” GUNTHER!
We then head to the back where Jimmy asks Jay if he is ready to take the title back. Jimmy then asks Jay if everything is okay. Then Jay said he felt like nothing was going right. He then says that it’s one thing to be in a bad situation, but he doesn’t want to put his brother in a bad situation. Jimmy then says that Jey is a champion and an eight-time tag team champion. Jimmy then says that Jay is getting everyone ready to shout the words.
Then I saw Byron Saxton in the interview area and he wanted to talk about Judgment Day and brought up Finn Balor. Byron asks the group about 2025. Finn says 2025 was a difficult year. Finn then says that Raquel failed in the ring tonight. Then Finn says that JD came out injured. Then Finn says he learned that Dominic is out indefinitely. Finn then says it’s the holiday season and a time for hope. Finn says that caused him to remember his time in Orlando. Finn says that made him think about his time in NXT. Finn says that this gave him an opportunity to think about how to carry that brand and carry it on into the future. Finn then says that on Judgment Day there will be no leader, but that he will reach out and help J.D., pick up Dominic, and carry the entire group on his back to the future. Finn says he will bring the championship gold medal to Judgment Day next year.

Then we head to the back and Jevon Evans shows up and wishes AJ Styles and Dragon Lee the best of luck. Then Mr. Evans says Mr. Pierce asked him to come here. Then AJ said he might be able to get back to where he was. El Grande Americano then stops to talk to Evans. Evans then says that he has a lot of respect for them and is not running away from them. AJ and Lee then appear and it looks like a match will take place in the future. Lee translates what Grande said.
We then see Paul Heyman walk up to Austin and ask Rey if he’s going to ruin the night. They then congratulate Austin on being added to the group and tell him they are rooting for him. Logan then says he’s not the most humble guy and he’s not one of the biggest stars. He says he was nervous on the first day. Then he said they all supported him. Paul then tells Logan to go to the ring with Austin and bond while taking care of Mysterio.
Rey Mysterio then makes his way down to the ring for his next match of the night, followed by The Vision.
Single match: The Vision’s Austin Theory vs. WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio
The match starts with both men locking up and Theory drives Rey into the corner. Theory then hits a clothesline in the corner. Theory then hits another clothesline in the corner. Theory then hits a strong Irish whip and backbreaker. Theory then wakes up Rey, but Rey escapes and hits a back elbow and kick. Rey then goes for a headscissors takedown into the turnbuckles. Theory then hits a clothesline. Theory then hits a punch and sends Rey into the turnbuckle. Rey then hits a jawbreaker and Theory misses a splash in the corner. Theory then hits a drop toe hold and sends Rey into the turnbuckle. Theory then goes for a slingshot rolling dropkick, but Rey counters with a rana and drops Theory into the ropes. Theory then avoids a 619 and they go to the floor. Theory then sends Rey into the ring post.
Theory then chokes Rey with the ropes. Theory then hits a first Irish whip to the sternum, resulting in a near fall on Theory. Then Theory stomps on his hand. Rey then counters a suplex with an inside cradle for a nearfall. Theory then hits a clothesline. Then the theory hits home. Theory then hits a flurry of kicks and punches in the corner. Theory then hits an elbow on Rey and Theory punches Rey. Theory then pushes Rey into the turnbuckle and hits him with a shoulder to the back. The theory then delivers a shock to the forearm. Theory then puts Rey on the turnbuckle. Rey then hits a series of elbows to knock Theory off the turnbuckle, but Theory puts Rey in a dire situation.
Theory then goes for a shoulder in the corner, but Rey picks himself up and Theory hits the turnbuckle. Rey then hits a seat splash and head scissors. Rey then hits the shoulder and punches Theory in the corner. Theory then hits a thrust kick for a near fall. Theory then hits a knee to the midsection and carries Rey over his shoulders onto the torture rack. Rey then counters with a tornado DDT for a nearfall. Rey then hits a headscissors, drives Theory into the ropes, and Theory hits a 619. Logan then takes care of Rey and the referee calls for the bell.
Due to disqualification, the winner of the singles match is WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio!
After the match, Logan and Theory berate Rey until Penta’s music plays. Penta goes down to the ring and Penta hits a headscissors on Logan, followed by a dropkick from Rey that sends Logan into the ropes. Ray then hits a 619.
We then proceeded to the back where Rhea said that Asuka was delusional. Rhea then says that you are the one who betrayed IYO, broke his face, and erased both of them. Rhea then tells Kairi to hide behind her. Rhea then says you are saying we are disrespecting you, but it is you who are disrespecting us. Rhea then said she would destroy Asuka next week. IYO then tells Kairi that she is lost and it is already too late. Then IYO said that the path you chose was wrong. IYO then says that he is stronger than Asuka and has surpassed his sensei. IYO then says that if he becomes the new tag team champion, he will teach them respect.
Grayson Waller then interrupted Byron Saxton in the interview area. Waller asks who will win tonight. Waller then asks Woods and Kofi who will win, and they reply that no one will. And he said there are only losers and Orlando is used to losers. Kofi then says he was told that if AJ Styles and Dragon Lee won the titles, the division would disappear right then and there. And if The Usos win, he says, it means the title and division will go to hell. Then Woods says this is the place to say he’s waiting in the wings. And if you’re the champion, he says, you should test yourself against the New Day. And he says they’re the greatest tag team of all time.
WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Maxine Dupri then steps down to the ring. Maxine begins by saying that we had a great holiday thanks to you and that we couldn’t be champions without our fans. Maxine then tells Becky that we all know the truth. Then Maxine said she could tell people that she was the real IC champion. Maxine then said that when she grabbed her ankle last week, she had no choice but to tap out. After that, Maxine said that she would not give up this title.
Becky Lynch’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Becky says she didn’t tap out. Then Becky said all she wanted to do was live in Orlando. Then Becky told him not to boo because he lost her, but to cheer because he had her. Becky then tells him that when he becomes rich and famous, he can leave. So Maxine tells them to choose wisely. Maxine then says if she gets it, she’ll break it or you’ll submit again.
Then Becky says you’re in a bad mood. Becky then says that she didn’t come to pick a fight, and that she didn’t start a fight. Then Becky said it was over. Then Becky says that she came to tell him about her accomplishments. Becky then said that she thought Maxine was the worst thing she had ever seen. Becky then said that she had been gradually getting better over the past few months. Then Becky said you could steal the title from her. Maxine then says that the only thing she stole was the spotlight. And Maxine says she’ll prove it next week. Maxine then says that after next week, no one will be able to blame her.
Becky then says that she has become kinder. And Becky said that if she thinks four weeks of training in a dungeon is comparable to her lifelong training, she didn’t get there because it was given to her. And Becky said she has overcome all the injustices that have been inflicted on her. Then Becky says it’s not over until they find a way to win. And Becky said that within a week all eyes will be on you and you need to ask yourself if you are what they think you are. Then Becky says you’ll be all she knows. Then Becky says, “Welcome to the big time.” Becky then left the ring.
We then head to the back where Trick Williams is with Adam Pearce and Pearce is talking about trying to put him on Monday. Then Bailey and Lyra Valkyria appear. Lyra asks if they thought about splitting up with Tag. Then she says she wants the next one. Then Pierce says it was supposed to be Roxanne and Liv. Bailey and Lyla then argue about why they have a chance. Bayley then calls Pierce a fool and Lyla tries to explain what Bayley meant.
Joe Tessitore will then move to SmackDown and Corey and Cole will appear on RAW.
And next week, it was announced that there will be a Stranger Things tie-up, with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley facing Kairi Sane and Asuka for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, Becky Lynch facing Maxine Dupri for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and Bron Breaker facing CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship.
The Usos then make their way down to the ring for the main event of the night, followed by AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

Jimmy is then hit with a double hip toss and Jimmy is awkwardly sent into the ropes with a headscissors. Then Jimmy and Jay go to the floor and Jimmy walks carefully with his brother. Jey then returns to the ring and Lee throws a flurry of punches. Lee then throws a series of punches off the turnbuckle. Lee then gets Yate from the crowd before the tenth punch. AJ then tags in and kicks Jey. AJ then hits a suplex for a near fall.
Lee then tags in and Jey backs Lee into the corner. Jimmy then tags in and hits a forearm in the corner for a near fall. Jimmy then finishes with a reverse chin lock. Jimmy then hits a series of headbutts and goes for a sunset flip, but Lee blocks it and hits a double stomp. Lee then hesitates in the corner and hits a dropkick for a near fall. AJ then tags in and kicks Jimmy. AJ then hits a chop and a kick. AJ then hits some forearms. More back elbows by AJ and an enzuigiri from the apron by Jey. Jey then tags in and double-teams AJ. Jay then hits a boot to the stomach. Jimmy then tags in and Jey chops AJ. AJ then hits a kick and Lee tags in. Lee hits a head scissors takedown and hits a running kick into the corner, followed by a leg sweep and slingshot kick.
Lee then misses a flying forearm and Jimmy hits a dragon whip. Jey then tags in and Lee floats up and hits a sitout powerbomb for a near fall. Lee then kicks Jay to the floor and Jimmy trips Lee and drags him to the floor. Jimmy then sends Lee to the ring steps and Jimmy adjusts the announce desk. AJ then hits a forearm off the ring steps and steps into Jimmy. Jay then hits a suicide dive and sends AJ into the announce desk. Jimmy then sends Lee into the ring. Jey then hits a headbutt and Jimmy tags in. Jimmy then hits a chop in the corner. Jimmy then stomps on Lee’s hand. Jimmy then chokes Lee with the ropes. Jimmy then goes for a running hip attack but misses when Lee moves. Jey then tags in and knocks AJ off the apron before he can tag in. Jimmy tags in and kicks Lee in the ribs. Jimmy then hits a chop. AJ and Jey then team up and AJ hits a series of forearms and kicks. AJ then hits a back elbow and a clothesline. AJ then hits a sliding forearm and takes care of Jimmy. AJ then hits an ushigoroshi for a near fall. AJ then signals for a Styles crash, but Jey escapes. Jay then kicks Lee and hits him with a spear. Jimmy then tags in and goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall.
Jimmy then gestures to Jay his next move. Jey then tags in and they both go up top for a double splash. Lee then kicks Jimmy off the turnbuckle and Jey misses a splash in the corner. Lee then hits Jimmy with a suicide dive through the announce desk. AJ then gets a rollup for a nearfall. Then Jey hits a superkick and AJ hits a pale kick. AJ then hits a Styles Clash for a near fall. AJ then tags Lee and he puts Jey on the top rope. Lee then hits a double stomp on the back and AJ sets up for the Styles Clash again. Jimmy then hits a superkick on Lee and AJ is sent to the apron. AJ then goes for the Phenomenal Forearm but gets hit with a double superkick. Then do the same with Lee and hit 1D against Lee. Jay then leads Lee to victory.
