AEW Clash Results (1/3/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with a short promo from all of tonight’s Collision contestants.
Commentary then welcomes us to the show as El Cron comes down to the ring for the first match of the night and Angelico is already in the ring.
Single match: Don Callis Family’s El Cron vs. Angelico
The match begins with both men locked up as Angelico grabs Kron’s arm and takes him to the mat. Kron stands up and twists Angelico’s wrist, knocking him down. Angelico stands up but Kron kicks him. Angelico then picks him up, trips him and hits him with a running lariat. Cron then kicked Angelico into the corner and landed him in a springboard, covering him for just a two count. Angelico is then captured and dropped on the head with a DDT by Kron. Angelico gets a hard chop from Kron. Angelico then fights back with a big chop and a kick to Kron’s head. Angelico then charges at Kron, but Kron moves out of the way and hits Angelico with a backbreaker. Kron then picks him up, spins him around, and hits him with a portal bomb for the victory.
The single match winner is El Cron of the Don Callis Family!
After the match, Kron attacks Angelico and Serpentico, but former ROH TV Champion Commander comes down to the ring and makes the save.
We then get a backstage promo from Jon Moxley, highlighting just how exciting the Continental Classic was. And Moxley says he believes this title and this weight class is what he was looking for. On Dynamite, he defends his title against Shelton Benjamin.
Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa then make their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Maya World and Hian.
Tag match: Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Tony Storm & Mina Shirakawa) vs. Maya World & Hian
The match begins with Maya World and Shirakawa in a stalemate from the beginning, and Storm and Haian going on the offensive. Storm then nails Hyian with a running dropkick, giving them the upper hand. Storm then throws a spinning Shirakawa over Hyian, only for a near fall. World and Hian try to take on Storm 2-on-1, but Storm breaks them up and sends them to the floor. Then Shirakawa hits a diving crossbody.
World and Hian are at the top. Then, a big Russian leg sweep/diving hit sent Storm into a near-fall, with Shirakawa narrowly saving his partner. Shirakawa then double dropkicks his opponent, sending him into the corner and looking for hip attacks on himself and Storm. He then defeated World with a diving sling blade, and Storm followed up with Storm Zero and won.
Tag team match winners, Timeless Love Bombs (“Timeless” Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa)!
After the match, Storm and Shirakawa celebrate their victory with Luther, but are interrupted by Marina Shafir. Shafir makes eye contact with both women in preparation for the upcoming match.
Later, when Megan Bayne went down to the ring for her next match of the night, her opponent was already in the ring.
Tag match: Megaproblems (Marina Shafir, “The Megasus” Megan Bain) vs. Laish Chanel, Londine Dior
The match begins with a lockup between Dior and Shafir. Shafir then defeats Dior and Chanel. Bane then defeats Dior and is tagged as he picks her up and throws her. Bane then sends a charge at Dior, but Dior moves out of the way. Then Chanel gets tagged. Bane then knocked Chanel down, picked her up and slammed her into Shafir, who then put her in Mother’s Milk and Chanel quickly tapped out.

Then we go to the back and Josh Alexander cuts a promo with the Don Callis family attacking some guys. Then the cameras start rolling and Alexander is still cutting a promo while breaking someone’s ankle.
The Commander goes down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Hexero.
AEW TNT Championship #1 Contenders Match: Commander vs. Don Callis Family Magician
The match begins with Hexero taking down Commander with a shoulder tackle, and Commander covers for just a two count. Both men then attempt a pinfall. Then we get Lucha chants from the fans. Hexero then grabs the Commander’s legs and locks them. The Commander gets up and sends Hexero to the mat, where Hexero falls to the floor. Hexero then slowly returns to the ring. Hexero then grabs Commander’s leg as he breaks out of the hold, but Hexero takes him down. Hexero then slams Commander’s knee into the mat. Commander goes to the corner but gets chopped by Hexero.
The Commander goes to the top and defeats Hexero. Hexero then recovers and grabs the Commander’s left leg and left arm. The Commander stands up and defeats Hexero, who is lying on the floor. Commander jumps over the top rope and is caught by Hexero, who throws Commander back into the guardrail first. Hexero then chops Commander into the corner. The Commander then fights back and attempts to kick Hexero. Hexero picks up the Commander and drops him when the two collide. Commander jumps over Hexero’s shoulders and takes him down with a back elbow. Hexero then tripped Commander, who hit his head on the ropes.
Hexero then puts a bow and arrow on Commander, converting it into an armbar. Commander breaks the hold with his left leg on the bottom rope. Hexero then hits the commander with a body blow. Hexero then charged at Commander, who moved out of the way, causing him to crash into the ring post and fall onto the steel steps. Commander then jumps up from above through the ropes and hits Hexero with a big elbow. Commander then comes off the top again and this time hits a big moonsault onto Hexero on the floor. Hexero is back in the ring. Commander rounds up Hexero but kicks out at 2. Hexero then recovers and defeats the Commander with a hammerlock swing. Commander then counters with a huge dropkick to Hexero’s left knee. The Commander drops Hexero on his head. Commander goes to the top rope, but while the referee is checking Hexero, El Cron comes out and knocks Commander off the top. Hexero then nailed Commander with a big running knee, lifting him up and slamming him down for the win.

Then we get to the scene where Tony Khan has Max Castor and Anthony Bowens say nice things about each other and do some team building exercises.
Tony Schiavone then introduces Eddie Kingston and Ortiz and they come down to the ring. Kingston begins by wishing his fans a happy birthday and thanking them for spending their money. Fans then shouted happy birthday. Eddie then calls out to another fan who is celebrating his birthday. Then Eddie said he would do whatever he wanted and say whatever he wanted. Eddie then says that Ortiz was his right-hand man and was about to leave the company, but now that Ortiz is back, he’ll be able to stay a little longer. Eddie. He says he cares enough about Ortiz and doesn’t want him to have a big ego. The fans then chant in praise of Ortiz. Ortiz then says that Eddie was born with a gift for oratory, and that Ortiz has a talent for elevating people’s opinions. Eddie then makes a comment about someone not holding a microphone and talking to Tony through the earpiece in the back. Eddie said as they came after a young white-haired veteran.
We then head to the backside where Big Bill and Brian Keith are mocking Eddie Kingston for trusting Ortiz. Then they talk about how they are setting their sights on other targets.
Jetspeed then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Big Bill and Brian Keith.
Tag match: Big Bill and “Bounty Hunter” Brian Keith vs. Jetspeed (“Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey)
The match starts with Bayley and Keith. Bayley gets back on her feet and takes Keith down, then kicks Bayley in the face with a big boot. Bayley gets to her feet as both men trade blows. Bill then grabs Bailey by the hair and pushes him away. Bill was then tagged in and chopped Bayley, stabbing her in the eye. I’m Keith. Knight goes up top and comes down with a dropkick, taking Bill and Keith down. Keith then rolls out of the ring. Jet Speed then slammed Bill to the floor, causing Bayley and Knight to jump over the ropes and land on top of Bill. Keith returns to the ring and double-teams Jetspeed.
Knight then covers Keith and Keith kicks out at two. Knight scoops Keith up and slams him down. Bill then shoves Knight off the ropes and Knight goes to the top. Bill then slams Bayley as Keith pushes Knight into the guardrail. Bill and Keith then bite into Bailey’s eyes, laughing at the camera. Bill attempts an elbow drop and Knight falls into the ring, causing Knight to roll off. Knight then slammed Bill to the floor and stood up. Bill comes back and charges at Knight, but Knight moves just as Bill hits the ring post head first. Bayley is then tagged in and so is Keith. Bayley then hits Keith with a big dropkick and an ax kick. Bill then comes in and picks up Bailey and throws her.
Keith then goes for a big boot but Bayley catches him. Bill then hits Bayley in the back of the neck with a big forearm. Bill then nails Bayley in the face with a huge boot. Keith then covers Bayley but Knight makes the save. Bill is then sent to the floor. Bayley then kicks Keith. The knight then jumped over the top and knocked down the building on the floor. Bayley then slips off the top and lands on Keith. Bayley is up to the top rope. Keith then goes to the top and hits Bayley with a big superplex. Keith then kicked Bayley in the face, dropping him. Keith then covers Bayley for just a two count. Knight and Bill are on the rampway. Bayley and Keith then go for the pin. Bayley then lands a double knee on Keith and takes Bill down. Bayley then tags Knight with a UFO splash as she comes off the top rope. Knight then covers Keith for the win.

After the match, Bill chases Jet Speed, who rolls out of the ring in time.
Next, proceed to the backstage corner. There, a young gray-haired veteran discusses Ortiz with Eddie Kingston. They then discuss how to defeat Kingston and Ortiz.
We then get a video package promoting the Dynamite Lights Out match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland vs. Samoa Joe and Powerhouse Hobbs.
Shelton Benjamin and MVP then went down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Dante Martin along with Darius Martin and Christopher Daniels.
Single match: Heart Syndicate’s “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin vs. Skyflight’s Dante Martin
The match begins with Shelton pushing Dante down and both men locking up. The two then lock up again. Shelton picks Dante up and slams him down. Dante then goes to the floor while Daniels gives him a pep talk. Dante then returns to the ring and puts Shelton in a headlock. Dante goes for a lariat on Shelton but it doesn’t go down. Shelton then takes Dante down with a big shoulder tackle. Shelton then nails Dante with a big forearm. Shelton grabs Dante and Dante fights back with a big kick. Dante then goes to the top rope, but Shelton shoves him into the barricade. Daniels and the medical staff check on Dante, who is on the floor with what appears to be a broken rib.
MVP then tries to call it out on Dante and encourage him to recover and fight Shelton another day. Dante then grabbed the microphone and said, “My mom didn’t grow anything! Did she grow yours??” Dante then kicks Shelton in the head and hits him with a DDT. Dante then goes to the top rope and comes down on Shelton. Dante then covers Shelton and Shelton kicks out at 2. Dante goes up to the top rope and comes down, hits Shelton and kicks out at two. Dante tackles Shelton with a sleeper hold. Shelton fights Dante off and drops him hard to the mat. Shelton then grabs Dante and throws him across half the ring. Shelton then picks Dante up and throws him again. Then the fans chant again. Shelton then picks Dante up and throws Dante again. Shelton then hit Dante with a rising knee strike and a superkick for the win.
The winner of the singles match is “The Standard of Excellence” Shelton Benjamin of The Heart Syndicate!
After the match, Daniels checks on Dante. MVP then grabs the microphone and asks Dante for applause. MVP then said that he called in sick after learning that Scorpio Sky would be facing Shelton Benjamin. Shelton then shakes Dante’s hand. MVP then asks Shelton Benjamin for applause. The fans then clap and cheer. MVP then says he doesn’t need to talk to Shelton. Next, MVP takes on Jon Moxley. MVP then said Moxley held off numerous hungry competitors to win the Continental Championship. MVP then said that Moxley has a lot going for him and the Death Riders will follow him. MVP then says that the Hurt Syndicate only wants to make money, not revolution. MVP says Moxley likes to bleed, but Shelton is the apex predator. MVP then says Shelton will throw him around like a bag of dirty laundry. MVP then says that Moxley is acting on emotion and that Moxley is not Shelton Benjamin. MVP then stated that Moxley would be very seriously injured on Wednesday Night Dynamite. Then fans shouted, “We hurt people.” MVP then said that the reason Moxley lost on Wednesday Night Dynamite was because the Hart Syndicate hurt people.
We then head to the back where Lexi Naar interviews Bandido and Sammy Guevara. Guevara will then challenge Bandido for the ROH World Title on Dynamite next week. Bandido asks Sammy why he’s so angry and tells him that he can just ask and he’ll tell him yes.
We then head to the commentary desk where Tony Schiavone is reading his injury letter from Big Stoke. Stoke requested that it be read out loud to the fans at the Esports Stadium in complete silence. Stork says that anyone who mocks him is as good as dead to him. Stork then says he’s been receiving good treatment and that although they call him little Lashley, he’s a much bigger man. Stork then says that his medical expenses are over $400,000, so he is asking for donations, and that he is drinking a lot, so he tells him to talk to Tony Schiavone after the show. Schiavone then crumpled the letter and threw it on the commentator’s desk.
The commentary outlines the current lineup for Wednesday Dynamite.
We then get a video package summarizing segments by MJF, Swerve Strickland, Hangman Page, and Kenny Omega.
Yuta Wheeler then makes his way down to the ring for the night’s main event against Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir, followed by Darby Allin.
Single match: Death Riders’ Wheeler Yuta vs. Darby Allin
The match begins with a chant for Yuta. Then the fans chat with Darby. Yuta is then taken down by Darby with a leg trip. Darby then puts Yuta in a headlock and gets a takedown. Darby then runs the ropes as Yuta stands up, but gets taken down by Darby as Yuta goes to the floor. Darby then tries to jump over the ropes but Shafir blocks him. Darby then went to the floor and was slapped by Darby and sent flying into the guardrail. Yuta then brings Darby back into the ring. Yuta then taunts the fans and picks Darby up, but Darby counters and rolls Yuta around. Darby then hits Yuta with a splash and covers for a two count.
Darby then goes to the top rope, but Yuta stands up and drops Darby into the turnbuckle. Yuta then drops Darby, which lands on the floor. Yuta then picks Darby up and rolls him into the ring. Furthermore, Yuta repeatedly punches Darby in the head. Yuta then covers Darby with a German suplex for a 2 count. Yuta then hits Darby with a big knee. Darby then counterattacked and rounded up Yuta with a headbutt and a slap to the face, only getting a 2 count. And Yuta falls to the floor. Darby gets up and runs the ropes but gets tripped by Shafir. Yuta then sends Darby to the floor. The referee then threw Shafir out. Shafir then refused to be sent off, but the referee’s attention was diverted, allowing Toni Storm to run away.
Daniel Garcia then comes out of the crowd and hits Darby with a huge lariat on the floor. Garcia then throws Darby back into the ring. Yuta then goes to the floor. Darby then takes down Garcia. Yuta then hits Darby with a hard knee on the apron, knocking Darby to the floor. Darby is back in the ring. Yuta then pounds Darby with repeated elbows. Yuta then applies a Scorpion Deathlock on Darby. Darby then escapes and double stomps Yuta. Darby then hits Yuta with a coffin drop. Darby then hits Yuta with the Coffin Drop again, covers Yuta and pulls him over to apply the Scorpion Deathlock as Yuta taps out.

After the match, Darby celebrates his victory and stands tall. Then, as the show draws to a close, Tony Schiavone runs out of Dynamite cards.
