Over the last year, Brynlee mainly competed in WWE Evolve but had to step back due to an injury that required surgery, which played a key role in her decision to leave.
During her stint on NXT television, she was part of a faction with Edris Enofe and Malik Blade, the latter having declared his departure from the group in September. Malik acknowledged Brynlee’s exit on Twitter by posting a meme featuring Will Smith looking around an empty room in the finale of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, pointing out that he is now the only remaining member of the WWE trio.
Malik made his return to the ring at an NXT live event in November after being sidelined for over a year due to injury.
