Vic Joseph and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T then check in from the Crow’s Nest balcony, where Vic gets the crowd going. We then see appearances by Fatal Influence, Kendall Gray, Oba Femi, and Leon Slater.

Thea Hale was making her way down to the ring for the first match of the night when she was attacked from behind by Blake Monroe. Blake then sends Hale into the ring steps and hits Thea with a chair. Thea is then sent through the barrier at ringside. The authorities have to hold Blake back while they check on Thea. Vic and Booker wonder if they will be able to compete in the advertised match.

Ricky Saints then makes his way down to the ring, past medical personnel responding to the situation with Blake Monroe and Thea Hale. Ricky started off by saying he thought the North American title match was going to be put on hold, so he wanted to give everyone a special gift. Ricky then says 2026 begins. Ricky said you had some feelings for him but wanted to be honest. Ricky then says that NXT really needed him last year and that NXT still needs him. Rickey then says that’s why Jevon Evans and Trick Williams chose free agency. Ricky then says that as long as he’s here, he can’t compete with anything he can’t compare to. Then Ricky said there was only room for one star and that was him. Ricky then says the sad truth about everyone in the locker room is that he’s not going anywhere.
