Joe Gacy responded to Wyatt Six’s loss of the WWE Tag Team Championship to the MFTs on the January 23 episode of SmackDown. After several weeks of rivalry, MFT’s Solo Chicoa and Tama Tonga challenged Wyatt Six’s Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy to a title match on SmackDown in Montreal. Much like their previous encounter on December 9, MFT outperformed Wyatt Six, with Solo Chicoa wielding Bray Wyatt’s famous lantern as a weapon and Tama Tonga securing the victory with the Cut Throat move.

Following their defeat, Joe Gacy took to Twitter, expressing his frustration with the result by repeating “No” numerous times in a dramatic manner. The duo’s 196-day reign as WWE Tag Team Champions was the longest on the main roster before they lost the titles on SmackDown. They initially won the belts by defeating Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins on the July 11 episode of SmackDown and successfully retained them five times.

Fan Take: This title change marks a significant shift in the WWE Tag Team division, bringing fresh energy and new storylines. For fans, it highlights the competitive and unpredictable nature of tag team wrestling, keeping the sport exciting and engaging.
