WWE 2K26 has been officially unveiled, featuring two special editions as the newest entry in WWE’s video game series. Following the announcement on the January 23 SmackDown episode about an Attitude Era edition, a Monday Night War edition was also revealed.

The game heavily emphasizes the WWE Attitude Era, updating the status of several wrestlers since WWE 2K25’s release, while introducing many new names to the official roster. Here are seven WWE Legends who might make a comeback in WWE 2K26.

7. Goldberg
Goldberg was not included in WWE 2K25’s main game but is expected to have a more significant presence in WWE 2K26. He will appear on the cover of the Monday Night War edition alongside Eric Bischoff, Booker T, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, and “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan as part of the retired WCW lineup.

Goldberg is set for his final match against Gunther on the June 15, 2025 Saturday Night’s Main Event special, making his inclusion in WWE 2K26 a fitting tribute to his career. Although he was part of WWE 2K25’s Hall of Legends DLC, Goldberg could play a larger role this time, potentially featuring in the game’s showcase mode.
