WWE RAW Results (1/26/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with commentary that welcomes us as we watch a video focusing on Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh Season Stadium, which was built as the venue for this weekend’s Royal Rumble.
We then see WWE Women’s World Champion Stefanie Vaquel arrive at the building to compete in a six-man tag team match tonight. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are then shown getting their hair done. “Big” Bronson Reed is then shown with Logan Paul, Austin Theory, Paul Heyman, and Bron Breaker, who is here to discuss the suspension with RAW General Manager Adam Pearce.
AJ Styles’ music then hits and he comes down to the ring. AJ picks up the mic and starts by welcoming everyone to RAW. AJ then says there’s someone behind him and this is the last time he can say that. AJ then said Gunther vowed to end his career at the Royal Rumble. Then AJ says he’s not going anywhere. AJ then says that he didn’t hide from anyone that this is his year of retirement. AJ then asks everyone to have fun together. AJ then says that John Cena told him he has a year to say goodbye. AJ then says that last year was Cena’s year. And AJ says this could be the year of AJ Styles. AJ then says he wants to wrestle again because there are so many people in the locker room. AJ then says he wants to be world champion again. AJ then says GUNTHER is good but not amazing.
CM Punk’s music then interrupts and he goes down to the ring. Punk then grabbed the microphone and started asking AJ if he understood why Punk was here tonight. Punk then says he’s known AJ for over 20 years. Punk then says that they were friends and enemies at the same time. Punk then says he has nothing but respect now. Punk then asks AJ what he is doing. Punk then says he will bet his career on fighting Gunther. Punk then says that if things don’t go his way, his career is over. Punk then says he has a lot of gas in the tank and he has to do something in front of these people. Punk then considered AJ’s career, but said Saturday’s stakes were too high.
AJ then wants to know if Punk thinks he can beat Gunther. Punk then says he didn’t say that, and AJ says that’s what Punk was implying. Punk then says he saw him take down Gunther, but the referee raises Gunther’s hand. Punk then says that unless he wins on Saturday, he will never see CM Punk vs. AJ Styles in a WWE ring again. Punk then looks around. AJ then says he knows Punk didn’t say that, but it’s rude. Punk then says AJ is being selfish.
AJ then says he knows he can beat GUNTHER and he knows he can beat Punk. Then Punk says it’s there. Punk then says it’s hard to beat a good team twice. Punk then says that if he loses on Saturday, he won’t be able to prove he can beat him. Then Punk says there’s nothing he can do. AJ then suggests they fight tonight. AJ then says that if he defeats Punk and defeats GUNTHER, he will be the number one contender for the title. Punk then told AJ and Toronto that he would win the title on November 1st and become the fighting champion. Punk then says that if he’s going to do it tonight, it’s for the belt. Punk then announces that the match will take place. Punk and AJ shake it up.
Next, we look back at Saturday night’s main event.
Raquel Rodriguez, Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan then go down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Stefani Vaquel and RHIYO.
6-man tag match: The Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez, “Prodigy” Roxanne Perez, Liv Morgan) vs. WWE Women’s World Champion “La Primera” Stephanie Vaquel, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion RHIYO (“Eradicator” Rhea Ripley, “Genius in the Sky” IYO SKY)
The match started with a combination of IYO SKY and Roxanne Perez. Perez then slaps her and SKY slams her hard into the ropes, does some handsprings, trips her up and punches her in the face. Raquel Rodriguez then quickly distracts SKY and Perez takes him down with a punch. Furthermore, Liv Morgan teamed up and stomped SKY. Rodriguez tags in and hits a series of back elbows in the corner. Morgan then tags in and goes for a scoop slam, but SKY slips out and tags in Stefani Vachel. Vaquel hits a dropkick on Morgan followed by a clothesline. Vaquel then sends Morgan into the ropes and avoids a sunset flip. Waker then hits a leg drop for a two count. Vachel then goes for the SVB, but Morgan escapes.
Vaquel then fights back and hits a vertical suplex. Perez then tries to distract her, as does Rodriguez. Vaquel then knocks them both down. Vaquel then brings it to Morgan and hits a back suplex. Vaquel then goes for the Devil’s Kiss, but Rodriguez runs in and kicks him in the ribs. Raquel then hits an elbow drop on Vaquel but she gets a near fall. Perez then tags in and hits Vaquer with a kick. Perez then chokes Vakele against the ropes. She then Irish whips Vaquel as Perez chokes Vaquel in the corner. Liv then tags in and she hits a hip strike. Liv then hits a boot and a dropkick for a nearfall. Liv finishes with a reverse chin lock. Vaquel then hit a snap mare and Liv hit a clothesline. Raquel then tags in and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Raquel then finishes with a chin bar and half nelson. Raquel then hits a flurry of punches and escapes, but Raquel hits a shoulder tackle. Perez then tags in and walks on Vachel and hits a moonsault for a near fall. Perez then hits a slap and an Irish whip. Vaquel then hits a boot and headbutts Vaquel. Vachel then hits Perez with a kick.
Vaquel then crawls across the ring and Liv pulls IYO off the apron. Perez then hits an elbow drop on Vachel. Rhea then walks after Liv and Raquel punches Rhea from behind, sending her into the ring steps. Perez then hits an uppercut in the corner and Raquel tags in. Vaquel avoids an elbow and Liv tags in. Vaquel hits a backbreaker. IYO then tags in and so does Perez. IYO then hits Shoutei with a suplex. IYO then goes to the apron with an Irish whip and hits Perez with a missile dropkick off the kick. Well then. She hits a running double knee strike and Liv takes Perez out with a moonsault. IYO then hits a butterfly backbreaker. Perez then grabs the ring skirt to distract the referee.
Perez then hits the Lake of Eye and Liv tags in. Liv hits a code breaker, followed by a side Russian legsweep by Perez for a near fall on Liv. Liv then misses an Oblivion and IYO hits a dropkick. Rhea then tags in and hits a short arm clothesline on Liv, followed by a backheel kick and fallaway slam. Rhea then hits a headbutt on Raquel. Rhea then aims for Razor’s Edge and sends Liv into Raquel. Rhea then counters Pop Rocks with a facebuster and a short arm clothesline. Rhea then kicks Raquel and Raquel sends Rhea to the apron. Rhea then hits a forearm. Rhea then goes up top and hits a missile dropkick. Rhea then blocks a kick and hits a punch. Liv then escapes from Riptide.
More elbows by Rhea and kicks by Liv. Liv then hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Perez then takes care of IYO. Vachel then hit Eat Defeat. Raquel then hits a boot on Vaquel. Vaquel then escapes the Tejana Bomb and Raquel falls to the floor. Vaquel then hit a crossbody off the turnbuckle and sent him to the floor. Perez tags in as Liv goes for obLIVion. Then Perez hits a chop block. Rea then blocks a code breaker and IYO hits a missile dropkick. Rhea then headbutted Perez and hit the Riptide for the win.

We then head to the back where Finn Balor stops CM Punk and says he’s thinking about everything that happened. Finn said afterward that it was the best moment of his career, even though it didn’t go the way he had hoped. Finn then says that you gave him flowers and you didn’t give them back. Finn then says he’ll do it right away. Finn thanks Punk. Punk thanks Finn. And he says he’s not the best in the world unless he faces the best. And he says he’s not just handing out title shots. And then John quit, and AJ says he’s going to quit soon, too. Punk tells Finn that if he wants to be champion, he might have to quit Judgment Day because he won’t succeed around trash like Dominic. He then told Finn to win the Rumble and said he’d see him in Las Vegas.
Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, Logan Paul, Bron Breaker and Paul Heyman then come down to the ring. Heyman then grabs the mic and starts talking about how the fans are booing and he hasn’t said anything yet. Heyman then introduces himself and the rest of Vision. Heyman then insults Toronto and tells him if he keeps booing him it will last all night. And Heyman says he brought with him the Austin theory that will garner the most attention in the coming years. Heyman then mentions Bronson Reed, the tsunami lord and the man who has won over Roman Reigns. Heyman then mentions Logan Paul. Heyman then mentions the reason we’re here tonight, Bron Breaker.
Heyman then says that Bron is here to meet Adam Pearce in person. Heyman said afterwards that he was grateful to Pearce for the offer, but before he comes forward, he needs to consider why this meeting was necessary. Now let’s look at what happened two weeks ago. Heyman then says that it was unbecoming of an official. And Heyman says Canadians know that. Next, let’s take a look at what happened with brass knuckles last week. Heyman then says it’s time for Pearce to be free in the ring.
Adam Pearce comes down to the ring. Adam says he’s not here to make excuses. Then Adam says there’s nothing wrong with keeping his heart a secret. Adam then apologizes, saying he was the one who touched Bron first. Adam then tries to talk Paul Heyman into lifting his suspension and letting Bron compete in the Royal Rumble, but Pearce says it’s over. Heyman then says that’s fine. Adam says Heyman is very good and tells Logan, Bronson and Austin that he’s in the Rumble. Adam then tells Austin that he could have defeated Rey Mysterio without the brass knuckles. And he said Austin deserves redemption and will get it tonight.
Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta then come down to the ring for their next match of the night.
Single match: WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio vs. The Vision’s Austin Theory
The match begins with both men locked up, with Theory getting a clean break. Ray the N shoves Theory, Theory kicks and chokes Ray. Both men then go back to the floor and Theory sends Rey into the ringside barrier and apron. Theory then tightens the wristlock. Rey then hits some forearms and tries to escape, but Theory holds up. Rey then hits a kick to the leg followed by a forearm kick. Rey then hits a springboard head scissors takedown, and Theory counters with a back elbow. Then the theory punches some punches. Rey then hits a dropkick to the knee. Ray goes for a satellite head scissors, but Theory blocks it and counters with a double knee gut buster. Theory then locks in a reverse chinlock. Theory then drags Rey to the mat and goes back to a reverse chinlock. Then the theory punches some punches.
Theory then went for the mask and Rey stomped her feet free. Rey then hits a boot to the knee and head and sends Theory into the ropes. Theory then escapes from the ropes before Rey hits the 619. Rey then goes to the apron and Theory catches him with a seating splash. Theory then blocks but Rey hits a rana. Rey then hits a seating splash on Theory and Theory returns to the ring. Theory then returns to the ring and goes to the floor again. Rey then follows and Theory sends Rey face-first into the ring steps.
Theory then sends Rey back into the ring. Theory then hits his shoulder in the corner and hits a backbreaker for a near fall. Theory then tightens the armbar. Ray then throws a punch. After that, the theory suffers a huge failure. Rey then scores a headscissors takedown and punches Theory off the turnbuckle. Theory then carries Rei on his shoulders, but Rei runs away. Rey then does a springboard move and Theory hits a forearm for a near fall. Theory then tightens the waistlock and puts Rey on the turnbuckle.
Theory goes to the turnbuckle again, but Rey hits an elbow. Theory then puts Rey on his shoulders and Rey pulls them over the top rope to the floor, with Rey remaining on Theory’s shoulders. Rey then hits a headscissors on the apron. Logan then punches Lee and Penta takes care of Logan. Reed then throws Lee into the ringside fence. Theory then took advantage of the mayhem on the floor and hit the Stomp for the win.
The winner of the singles match is Vision’s Austin Theory!
After the match, Reed attacked Penta. Lee then pulls away from Reed, but Logan punches Lee. Bronn then strikes with a spear. Logan then goes up top and hits a frog splash. Bron then attacks Penta with a spear and Reed pulls Penta into the corner and goes for Tsunami. The referee then tries to stop Ray from doing any more damage, but it doesn’t work. They then hold the penta against the spear.
Then we meet Natalia and she tells Maxine that she made her but failed. Then she says you didn’t let her down, you let her down. Then Natalia says you are just like everyone else. Natalia then said that she thought you could roll like a legend because you rolled with one. Natalia then says that it will never happen again. Then Natalia said this was a whole new me. Natalia said that once her relationship with Maxine was over, she would come to finish everything. Natalia then said that she would be elated, but Natty would be elated.
We then see Raquel screaming for Vaquel and Bailey screaming at Raquel. Bailey then tells Raquel where Pierce’s office is. Lila appears and says that Raquel has other business to attend to. Vaquel then jumps on Raquel and they have to be separated.
Next, we have Byron Saxton in the interview area with Jevon Evans. Byron brings up the referee stop that happened last week. He then asks what happened. Evans said there was nothing wrong with his shoulder and that he felt fine. Then Evans says he gets too excited sometimes. Evans says he feels good and ready to focus on what’s next. Byron asks what he will do next. The crowd cheered for the Blue Jays as Evans wore a Red Sox beanie. Evans said he has many goals he would like to accomplish, but one of them is main eventing WrestleMania. Evans then says that means he has to win the Royal Rumble. Evans then says he’s in the Rumble. Evans then says he has something for everyone in the Rumble.
Then we get the Roman Reigns video package.
We then move on to a previously recorded interview with Gunther. Michael Cole referenced Gunther’s match on Saturday and asked why he forced AJ Styles to risk his career. Gunther then asked what he would gain by beating AJ in a standard match. And Gunther said there are extraordinary things to fight for right now. Gunther then says he can end AJ’s career. Cole then asks why he would deprive the fans of a great moment with AJ Styles.
Then Gunther says he’s fed up with the continued welcome of his old customers. Gunther then says that the moment is his. Then Gunther said Bill Goldberg was chasing the moment and he grabbed it. Gunther then said that he would talk about how John Cena had been chasing him every minute for a year, but Cena gave up on him in his last match. GUNTHER then talks about AJ doing his farewell tour. Gunther then says he doesn’t want AJ to take away his moment. Gunther then tells Cole that he fits into that category too. He then asks Cole how long he will stay there and chase the moment. Gunther then says he can kick Cole’s chair over and end his career right now. He then tells Cole not to worry because he wants to call Saturday’s match and tell him that AJ Styles’ career is over. Gunther laughed and said it would be a great memory.
Jey Uso then makes his way down to the ring for his next match that night. This was followed by The New Day, Grayson Waller, Los Americanos, Alpha Academy and American Made.
We then headed to the backside where we saw Adam Pearce stop by to say he was on the phone and Finn Balor was in the Royal Rumble. Adam. He then tells Finn that he got the title match last week and is already up to 30th place. Finn then says that the Royal Rumble wouldn’t be full without him. Then Adam says the Rumble is full. Finn then says this isn’t over yet. Liv then asks Finn about CM Punk. And she said that Punk showed him up in her hometown last week, and he held up his hand like a participation trophy. She then said that Punk doesn’t want you to win the title, but Judgment Day does want you to win the title. Finn then tells Liv that there is more to it than that, something to think about.
Fatal 4-way match for WWE World Tag Team Championship #1 contenders: The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis, Akira Tozawa) vs. American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed) vs. Los Americanos (Bravo Americano, Rayo Americano)
The match starts with Kofi and Bravo, Bravo hits an Irish whip and a monkey flip but Kofi gets back up. Kofi then hits a monkey flip and rolls through a Bravo add. Woods then distracts Bravo and Kofi hits Bravo from behind. Bravo then hits a forearm to the back and Rayo tags in. Bravo and Rayo then hit a flying headbutt on Kofi. Tozawa also tags in and hits Rajo with a head scissors. Julius then tags in and Tozawa sends a bravo to Rajo on the floor. Julius then hits a clothesline on Tozawa and Brutus slams Kofi and Woods to the floor. Julius then hits a knee to Otis from the back of Brutus. Brutus then hits Brutus’ ball into several men. They then send Otis’ shoulder into the ring steps.
Julius then brings Tozawa back into the ring and hits Tozawa with a knee to the ribs. Brutus also tags in and hits a double gut buster. Brutus hits a forearm to the side of the head. Brutus then hits another forearm and Julius makes the tag. Julius hits a suplex, but Brutus survives and rolls into a front facelock. Then Tozawa threw a series of punches. Rayo tags in and slams Tozawa. Then Rayo stomps on his head. Rayo also closes with a half nelson and chin bar. Rayjo then stomps on the ankle and Bravo tags in. Bravo hits a forearm and slingshot centone on Tozawa on Rajo’s lap. Bravo then finishes with a front facelock. Woods then tags in and hits a few forearms. Woods then kicks Tozawa for a corner. Kofi tags in and kicks Tozawa. Woods then hits a dropkick in the corner.
Tozawa then hits Woods with a series of elbows, and Woods hits a back heel kick. Kofi tags in and Woods hits an Irish whip. Kofi then hits a leg drop and Woods picks up Tozawa. Woods then kicks Tozawa, forcing Kofi to tag in. Then Kofi gets on Woods’ shoulders and Tozawa gets on his knees. Rajo tags in and kicks Tozawa. Rayo then locks in a front facelock. Bravo then tags in, Bravo is sent into the Tree of Woe, and Tozawa sends Rayo into Bravo. Then Julius knocks Otis off the apron and Tozawa sends Julius into the ropes. Then Bravo hits a reverse airplane spin and Tozawa hits a missile dropkick. Tozawa then goes to the corner and teams up with Otis. Otis then hits a clothesline on Julius and Woods, followed by Kofi. Otis then hits a body drop. Ortiz then hits a splash on Woods and Bravo, and Bravo falls on top of Woods. Otis then hits a caterpillar and elbow on Julius, but the cover collapses.
Tozawa then hits a double header DDT on Kofi and Brutus. Tozawa then hits Rajo with a special attack dive. Furthermore, Tozawa unleashes a special attack dive on everyone. Then the shirt comes off. Kofi then misses Trouble in Paradise. Tozawa then hits a kick and goes up top for a back sentone. Waller then steps over Tozawa while Woods distracts the umpire. Jey then hits a superkick, sending Waller over the ringside barrier. Otis then hits a back hit on Kofi first and a clothesline on Woods. Rayo and Bravo then hit a double dropkick on Otis. Brutus then takes care of Bravo and Rayo. Otis then blocks a knee on Julius and drops him onto Brutus. Tozawa also teamed up and hit Julius with a back sentone for the win.

Jackie Redmond then interviews Becky Lynch and congratulates her on the win, but Becky says it should be more respected and insults Jackie’s Leafs jacket. Becky says there’s a controversy over the match because of Natty. After that, she said she had to deal with Laila. Natty then said he needed to win the Royal Rumble for the title match. Kairi Sane then stopped by and told Becky that she was going to win at the Royal Rumble because no one was ready to beat Asuka. Becky then said that she had defeated Asuka many times and would have won the war games if Asuka hadn’t been there. As Kairi translates, Asuka exclaims that she heard her voice and exclaims that she can meet Becky at the Rumble. Asuka then yells at Kairi.
Later, Jevon stopped by to wish AJ Styles luck and said he hopes to see him on his farewell tour.
Byron Saxton was then seen in the interview area, and Raquel Rodriguez interrupted and yelled at Stephanie Vaquel. Then she said you were cheating on her every week. Then she says you keep coming up with excuses. And she said, if it’s not you, someone else is in her business. Then she says you have never faced someone as dominant as her. And she said it’s not over until she gets Stephanie in the ring and gets the title. Raquel then tells Stephanie to have a match. Stephanie Vaquel then shows up to talk to Pierce. She says Raquel wants her and she wants Raquel. Then she said she didn’t want a match, she wanted a fight. Pearce says he will have a street fight for the title next week.
We then headed to the back where Bronson Reed said he wanted to know what the plan was. And Logan says he needs to have one goal and one vision to get him to WrestleMania. And he says no one can stop them. And he said they are a well-oiled unit, a machine within a machine. And he says they need to make sure one of them wins the Rumble. Logan then says that the winner should be Bron Breaker. Then Logan says it’s a vision.
We then see that Oba Femi will be competing in the Royal Rumble.
CM Punk then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night, followed by AJ Styles.

The match starts with both men locked up and AJ closes it out with a wristlock. Punk then reverses and works on the arm. Punk then locks him in a hammerlock and AJ reverses. Punk follows with a waistlock, and AJ fights back with a wristlock. Punk then hits a leg sweep for a near fall. Both men then go for a Greco-Roman knucklelock and AJ locks in a side headlock. AJ then hits a kick and Punk puts AJ on his shoulders. AJ then goes for a calf crusher, but Punk counters with an anaconda vice. AJ then gets a rollup for a nearfall. Punk then locks him in a side headlock. AJ drops down for the Phenomenal Forearm and Punk hits an elbow drop to the back. Punk then hits a kick and a scissor kneedrop. Punk then locks him in with a reverse chinlock.
AJ then hits a flurry of elbows and punches. Punk then hits a clothesline. Punk then hits a reverse atomic drop and AJ hits a dropkick. AJ then goes to the apron and hits a sliding knee. AJ then chops Punk and sends him into the ringside barrier. AJ then hits a forearm and they both get back in the ring. AJ then sends Punk into the turnbuckle. AJ and Punk then trade chops. AJ then hits a hard Irish whip, sending Punk sternum first into the turnbuckle. AJ then hits a snapmare and a kick to the back. AJ then locks in a reverse chinlock. AJ then hits an Irish whip and he follows it up with a flying clothesline. Punk then hits a forearm and AJ fights back. Punk and Irish slams AJ in the face into the turnbuckle. Punk then hits a series of punches and a leg lariat. Punk then hits a swinging neckbreaker. Punk then hits a knee in the corner followed by a bulldog. Punk then hits Shining Wizard for a near fall. Punk then gets AJ to his feet, but AJ gets back up and hits a flurry of hits and a clothesline. AJ then hits a running forearm. AJ then hits a clothesline into the corner. Punk then hits a clothesline for a near fall.
Punk then hits a punch and forearm. Punk then puts AJ on his shoulders and AJ blocks the knee. AJ then hits an ushigoroshi for a near fall. AJ then puts Punk on the turnbuckle. AJ then goes for a superplex but Punk blocks it. Punk then drops AJ face-first to the mat and Punk hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Punk then finishes with an anaconda vice. More headscissors from AJ and a jackknife cover from Punk. Punk then backs AJ into the turnbuckle and slams him in the shoulder. AJ then goes for the Calf Crusher, but Punk rolls through. Punk then tries to get AJ back in the ring, but is unable to do so, and Punk enters the ring, allowing AJ to beat the count. AJ then gets a rollup for a nearfall and hits Styles Clash for a nearfall. AJ then goes to the apron and goes for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Punk slams him into the ropes and drops AJ to the mat. Punk then hits some kicks and punches. AJ then hits a punch. AJ then hits a kick and Punk hits a chop and forearm. AJ then hits a pele kick. Punk then blocks a powerbomb and AJ avoids getting on Punk’s shoulders. Punk then tries to get AJ to his feet, but AJ grabs the ropes. Then Finn Balor hits a dropkick on Punk and the referee calls.

Finn then goes up top again and hits a Cou de Grace in the ribs. Finn then goes for a hat trick and achieves it again. Then, as the show draws to a close, Finn stands up.
