New York Giants running back Cam Skatebo has not dismissed the possibility of joining WWE in the future, describing wrestling as “definitely an option” once his football career concludes.
Skatebo, who made a surprise cameo on Monday Night RAW in November 2025, revealed in a February 8, 2026 interview with TMZ Sports that he is seriously contemplating a move into professional wrestling after football.
“There’s a chance. I mean, I think I’m a pretty good actor, so there’s definitely a possibility,” Skatebo said. “There are many opportunities beyond football, and WWE is one of them.”
When asked about his confidence in wrestling skills and in-ring potential, he responded with certainty, “Oh, yeah, absolutely. I grew up watching wrestling, and my older brother was bigger than me, so I could never really get a hit in because his reach was always longer.”
Skatebo’s WWE debut happened on November 17, 2025, during RAW at Madison Square Garden where he attended ringside alongside other Giants players and comedian Andrew Schultz. After the faction Judgment Day lost their match, Finn Balor, J.D. McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio approached the group, prompting Skatebo to shove McDonagh to the floor. The brief altercation electrified the crowd and became the top topic on ESPN New York and WFAN the following day, according to WrestleVotes. WWE insiders expressed satisfaction with the buzz the segment generated.
“The New York sports media was buzzing about Cam Skatebo’s RAW appearance last night with Giants rookies,” said one WWE official. “It was the number one conversation on ESPN New York and WFAN. I’ve heard from WWE folks today, and they’re happy with how it played out.”
With Skatebo confirming that WWE is a serious possibility, his RAW moment might have been more than just a promotional stunt—it could signal the beginning of a new career path. Whether or not he eventually trades in football cleats for wrestling boots, his charisma is undeniable and WWE is clearly taking notice.
