WWE RAW Results (2/23/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with a welcome from Michael Cole and Corey Graves. Cole and Graves get in the ring and Cole mentions that tonight we will be honoring AJ Styles.
Gunther then interrupts Cory’s introduction and Cory descends into the ring. Gunter says he was trying his best but it wasn’t enough. Gunther tells them to go behind the announce desk and tell them how great he is. Gunther then says you idiots are here to celebrate AJ Styles’ career and aren’t happy to see him. Gunther then says that celebrating losers is shameful. Gunther then says he feels sorry for losers like Bill Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles. Gunther then says that the one thing they all have in common is that he killed their careers. And Gunther says what should really happen tonight should be a celebration honoring a truly great wrestler.
Adam Pearce then makes his exit and tells Gunther that’s enough while going down to the ring. Pearce then says he knew Gunther would show up. Pearce then said he was going to celebrate AJ Styles’ career. Pierce then tells Gunther that his men are escorting him out of the building. Gunther says he is leaving not because he was told to leave, but because he is ashamed of what will happen tonight. Gunther then left the ring, warned the guards not to touch him, and walked away laughing. Gunther poses one last time before Dragon Lee attacks him from behind. A guard then pulled Lee away and Gunther angrily charged.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce then forced Gunther into the gorilla position, which enraged Gunther. Dragon Lee then attacks Gunther again and they brawl to the backstage area. A guard then pulls Lee away and Gunther becomes furious. Pierce asks Gunther if he’s happy and says it’s not his night. “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then appears and stares at Gunther with disgust before passing the gorilla’s position.
“American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes then made his way down to the ring to a huge reception from the Atlanta crowd. Cody then grabbed the microphone and started saying I know what you want to talk about, it’s AJ Styles. Cody then says that AJ is wrestling royalty. Then, Bronson Reed’s music hits and Paul Heyman, Logan Paul and Austin Theory join him on stage. Heyman then tries to speak, only to be booed by the crowd. Then Theory says he can’t stand this place. The theory then says that they are disrespecting the wise men and the visions. Theory then says that he’s embarrassed to be from Atlanta. Paul gets on the mic and says Rose isn’t ashamed of being from Atlanta. Paul then says that Rose, like everyone in Atlanta, has no common sense.
Paul then says it’s insane for Rose to appear on Monday Night RAW. And Paul said that if Bronson Reed wins tonight at Elimination Chamber, Vision will take over SmackDown at WrestleMania. And he said Rose would be the first one out the door. Paul then sarcastically says to the audience, “God bless you all.” The audience will see Reed win in the qualifying matches that are about to begin. Then Rose says she doesn’t know. Rose then says there’s always someone here who doesn’t agree with that. The World Tag Team Champions The Usos make their way through the crowd.
And then the “Original” El Grande Americano comes down to the ring for the first match of the night.
Men’s Elimination Chamber Triple Threat Qualifying Match: The Vision’s “Tribal Thief” Bronson Reed vs. The Usos WWE World Tag Team Champions “Main Event” Jey Uso vs. “The Original” El Grande Americano
The match starts with Jay punching Reed, as well as Americano. They then take turns punching Reed and Jey hits an uppercut. Reed then runs through a double clothesline and hits one of his own. Reed then Irish whips Jey into an Americano and Jey moves as Reed goes for a splash. Reed blocks another kick and Jey hits a Dragon Whip. Jey then goes for a suicide dive, but Reed hits a forearm. Americano then goes up top and hits a moonsault on Reed and Jey. Americano then escapes and sends Reed into the ring post. Jay then joins Americano and sends Reed into the post again. Americano then punches Reed, who falls to the floor, and Reed returns to the ring. They then fist bump and Jay and Americano lock up. Americano then hits a drop toe hold and transitions into an arm bar.
Americano then hits a snap mare, knee drop to the arm, and a kick. Reed then goes back to the apron and Americano dropkicks Reed off the apron. Jey then gets an inside cradle for a near fall. Americano then hits Jey with chops. Americano then punches into the divorce court and applies a bridging hammerlock. Americano then falls to the mat and does more damage to his arm. Jay then throws a series of punches at Americano. Then Americano countered with a punch. Americano then kicks Jey’s arm in the ropes, he kicks Reed off the apron and we start dancing. Americano then hits an Irish whip and Jey floats up and hits Americano. Jey then goes to the turnbuckle for a punch. Jey then hits an uppercut and puts Americano on the turnbuckle. Reed then headbutts Jey and Jey shoulders them both for a double Samoan drop.
Reed then throws a series of punches at Jey, and Jey hits a back elbow. Reed then hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Reed then punched Jey and Jey choked him on the ropes. Reed then kicked Americano off the apron and into the ringside barrier. Reed then works on Jay’s neck. Jey then throws a flurry of punches, but Reed catches him with a crossbody and hits a standing powerslam. Americano then headbutts Reed, hits a bulldog on Reed, and finally hits Jey with a leg drop for a near fall. Reed then blocks a German suplex and Jey punches the Americano. Americano then hits a Chaos Theory on Jey, but Jey narrowly misses and hits a diving headbutt across the ring. After that, Americano almost falls over. Americano then hits a German suplex on Reed for a near fall.
