Details regarding Rusev’s dealing with WWE are reported after the return of “WWE Raw.”
The former AEW star returned to the segment with New Day and Alpha Academy, exterminated and praised Otis before gracing. It was his first time in five years that he was at the company, and he spent most of his original departures at AEW before securing a release from Tony Kern’s promotion in February.
According to “Deadline,” he signed a two-year deal with WWE and his wife CJ Perry, known as WWE’s Lana, signed a Legends deal earlier this month. However, Perry was not on screen for Rusev’s return. In the report, there is a quote that Perry will return to the company, and he is in charge of the talent agent paradigm to make that possible.
“Rusev crushed WWE and became a world champion… We have been cooking this from our Bulgarian kitchen since the day we left. With the help of a paradigm, we were able to create this reality!
Rusev and Lana are trying to prove their superiority as WWE TV equipment and Russia envoys after the 2015 main roster call-up. Gradually that part of his character became refined, and Lana continued to be called “a seductive Russian,” but she dropped her Russian accent and formal outfit, eventually breaking out of managing her husband with her rights as a wrestler. Rusev left WWE in 2020, but Lana continued a year later, eventually reuniting at AEW in 2023.
