Mariah may have made it clear that she is not intending to re-sign AEW.

Despite AEW’s internal belief that Mariah May is likely to be tied down by WWE at the end of her contract this year, recent information suggests that her departure may not be imminent. Fightful initially reported a possible summer exit, but Pwinsider.com contradicts this, saying that May has “significant time” left in her deal, and is likely extended to November and beyond.

This timeline shift means adjusting expectations in hopes that fans will hope to leave in the coming months. Since her AEW debut in November 2023, May has emerged as a key breakout star. Her first story portrayed her as the ultimate fan of Toni Storm. Before a dramatic betrayal, he integrated himself into the world of Storm.

This long-term story reached its climax with AEW Revolution 2025 just a few months ago. Since then, I have not been AEW programming in May.

Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer newsletter reported that she may have “cleared” her not planning to re-sign, and for that reason she booked her third match with Storm as a blowoff shortly after her second match in Australia. May has not yet commented publicly about her situation.
