A steel cage match for the AEW World Championships has been announced for a special upcoming dynamite episode.
The first cinc in Death Rider’s armor occurred in dynamite two weeks ago. This has defeated OPPS’ Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Island and Powerhouse Hobbs to win the AEW World Trios Championship.
The match ended when Samoa Joe suffocated AEW World Champion John Moxley and Moxley came to the ring in the next collision, challenging Joe for the title match at the AEW Dynamite Beach Break Show on May 14th.
The match was announced for the show, but Joe added more stakes to the collision.
At tonight’s Dynamite Show, following a victory by OPPS, Deathrider stormed the ring, with Moxley taking out Shivata before escaping through the crowd.
After Joe got on the microphone and called out Moxley, he declared that their upcoming title match would be contested within the steel cage.
