Details of MJF’s upcoming role in the Netflix film Happy Gilmore 2 starring Adam Sandler have been revealed.
The film is a box office sequel to 1996 when Sandler reprises his role when the ice hockey player became a golfer.
In upcoming Netflix films, Sandler’s Gilmore is currently the father of four adult boys, played by MJF, Ethan Cutkosky, Conor Sherry and Philip Schneider.
MJF portrays Gordy, while Katcoski plays Wayne, Shelley, Terry and Schneider as Bobby.
An AP News article reveals that the boys are called “just fools” by playing the newcomer Schneider, and MJF reveals that he doesn’t need to prove his ice link power.
“I looked like a fool, so they just thought I was OK with the link.”
During the four-month filming, the actors discover that their flow is a troubling descendant of Gilmore.
“It was so amazing how fast we reached and how we created our family. It’s really hard to get there.”
MJF revealed how close the on-screen siblings have come between their scenes, saying:
“In between scenes, we liked seeing each other, knowing what we were thinking, and making each other laugh without talking.”
Schneider will say Sandler is helping them put them together, revealing that the Golden Globe nominated stars made the entire set feel like family.
There are previous reports stating that MJF is not the only wrestler to appear in Happy Gilmore 2, and that WWE’s Becky Lynch also has a role.
