Since the founding of AEW in 2019, Tony Khan has implemented several different changes that changed the look of the company.
Establishing specific rules for promotions has proven that their rapid growth has led to some adjustments for better people, some have been worse.
There are six AEW rules changed by Tony Khan as AEW celebrates its sixth anniversary with Double Oor Nothing 2025.
6. Expanding the creative team
When all elite wrestling first began, Tony Kahn worked with elite Cody Rhodes, Young Bucks and Kenny Omega in the company’s storyline.
After some changes and additions to the promotion, the creative team looks very different in 2025 than in the past few years.
There are several members of the creative team who have contributed to some of the promotional rivals and stories, including Sonjay Dutt, Jerry Lynn, RJ City, and Will Washington.
Khan has the final say, but there are several who have fingerprints on some of the best stories told on AEW TV.
