Summer is piled up in AEW, with major pay-per-views coming soon.
The company kicked things off with a double or notebook on May 25th, then everything continued in July, then returned to the UK for a forbidden door in August.
There are many title changes to these big time events.
This is the title change that is most likely to be seen this summer.
6. John Moxley loses AEW World Heavyweight Championship
John Moxley held the AEW World Championships since October last year, winning it from Brian Danielson.
Since then he has kept the title out of sight – trapped in a briefcase.
It seems inevitable that it will soon be prying open and wrapped in someone else’s waist – of course the question is: whose waist?
If “Hangman” Adam Page were to win the Owen Hart Foundation tournament by defeating Will Osprey with a double or note, he would set the stage perfectly for him to regain the AEW world title at a Texas Stadium event where a Cowboy’s victory felt particularly appropriate.
