The company consists of several limited liability companies (LLCs) registered in Connecticut as of September 2024. Brad Blum, a former WWE executive, serves as president, while David Spingarn is the Chief Investment Officer. 14th & I has registered trademarks for its name, covering private equity investments and entertainment production.
14th & I operates as a private investment entity aiming to pursue acquisitions, majority ownership trades, and select minority investments with a growth focus. The company’s goal is to be a long-term capital partner that helps management teams enhance value through expertise and connections. Although it centers on sports, media, and entertainment, there is no indication it will produce professional wrestling content or engage directly in wrestling activities.
The name "14th & I" is a tribute to McMahon’s family heritage, referencing the location in Washington, DC, where the Capitol Wrestling Corporation, run by Vince McMahon Sr., was based.
This new venture comes after McMahon resigned from WWE and the TKO Group following allegations of sexual misconduct and human trafficking brought by former WWE employee Janel Grant in January 2024. Since his exit, McMahon has sold a large portion of his TKO shares but still retains a minority stake worth over $1 billion. The company is not believed to be a vehicle for McMahon to attempt regaining control of WWE.
