Coachman Hints That Kevin Nash Might Be Backing Triple H in the R-Truth Feud

The ongoing debate about R-Truth’s WWE contract has taken another turn. On the June 9 episode of Coach and Friend Live, Jonathan Coachman addressed Kevin Nash’s recent criticism regarding allegations about R-Truth’s exit and comeback. Coachman had previously claimed on his show that he had heard from a source that WWE offered R-Truth (Ron Killings) a reduced contract, which R-Truth declined, choosing to leave instead. Nash responded by calling it irresponsible to spread second-hand information without firsthand knowledge. This week, Coachman replied with sarcasm and speculation.

He shared, "I didn’t see it firsthand. Someone sent me a link saying ‘Kevin Nash calls out coaches about R-Truth and a low-budget storyline’." He also hinted at the involvement of Triple H, R-Truth’s close friend, saying, "Do you know who his best friend in the whole world is? Triple H." Coachman added, "Triple H saw what I said and told me, ‘I can’t deal with this, but can you tell us more?’ I’m not saying he did, but it would be interesting, right?"

Coachman seemed unfazed by Nash’s remarks, emphasizing that they don’t have time to respond to every opinion. He stated, "We don’t have time to see what everyone is saying about us. We’re posting news, but not responding to it."

Meanwhile, Vince Russo, Coachman’s co-host, showed his long-standing respect for Nash, saying, "I won’t talk negatively about Kevin because I love Kevin Nash, always have. We go way back to 1991 in Vegas." Russo also asked for clarity, saying, "I don’t know what was said. Help me understand. If I’m caught in the middle, I need to be informed."

Coachman ended on a light note, joking that this controversy shows the show is making an impact. "If people are talking about us, that’s great. It means we’re doing something right."

It remains uncertain if the situation will deescalate or grow more intense, but the tension behind the scenes continues to surface on podcasts.
