In, not only was John Cena a heel he hated, but Orton was about to cheer even more than usual as PLE happened in his hometown of St. Louis. As expected, Cena was fooled to win, and the crowd made every sleazy move. However, after he performed a short heel promo after the match, the crowd shook Cena with an unexpected chant that could show emotion to the champion.

John Cena was tricked to win Randy Orton in an over-produced match. After sending out challengers, Cena got on the microphone and called herself the final real champion. The St. Louis crowd may have easily driven Cena out of the building because he had his hometown hero, but instead, thousands of fans began chanting “Thank you, Cena” after learning that it was his final appearance.

Cena attacked her mouth, looking down at his title and was shown walking with her head bowed as if he had lost the match despite him winning. Walking back into the aisle, he stopped by the fans clapping for him and glanced at their path before shaking his head, as if he was about to shake off his emotions. When he reached the top of the aisle he stopped and absorbed the chant.

The WWE camera zoomed in on John Cena at this moment. Was they just going with an unexpected chant, or were they hoping this was the reaction that the WWE champions get?

This could be how John Cena changes Babyface again. His heel turns weren’t that great, from his inactive motives to hating fans to the disappearance of the rocks. Still, fans believe him, and that might be what will bring him back.
