Hulk Hogan and his company want to acquire the Hooters brand

Real American Brand, a WWE Hall of Fame Hulk Hogan company, reportedly aims to acquire intellectual property and branding for the Hooters restaurant chain. The move, first reported by TMZ Sports, is part of Hogan’s mission to reclaim the iconic American brand that embodies “Freedom, Grit, and Good Times.”

The authentic American brand considers Hooters to be a major candidate for this revival. “The Hooters are more than just wings and nostalgia. It’s part of the American story,” a company representative told TMZ Sports. “We believe there is great potential to modernize our brand without losing our bold identity.”

They added, under their leadership, the Hooters are “returning to the spotlight as an unfiltered Americana icon – fun, fearless, proudly American.” The bid will be born as Hooters of America, the entity that runs the restaurant that filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 2025. First pointed out in April 2025, Hogan’s interest was described by his camp as a “perfect match.”

If the Real American Brands all-cash bid is successful, Hogan reportedly plans to revert the Hooters’ name to the operator, as he is not trying to manage the physical location. This acquisition will be a “big step” for a real American brand recently to unveil real American beers.
