WWE RAW Results (3/2/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with a video package recapping highlights from last Saturday’s WWE Elimination Chamber PLE.
Commentary then welcomes us to the show, with Michael Cole narrating various arrival shots of World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, new Women’s Intercontinental Champion AJ Lee, several members of Judgment Day, and Gunther. Cole is also promoting an appearance by Roman Reigns.
Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory then enter the ring and Paul introduces himself and the others. Then Paul said he was here to talk about Seth Rollins. Then Paul hears a humming sound and stops. Then Paul says he hates that weird song and he hates Seth Rollins. Paul then says that Seth stole the credit for co-founding the group from him. Paul then says that Seth stole the credit for co-founding SHIELD. Paul then says that Seth stole the Elimination Chamber and stole the main event of WrestleMania from Logan Paul. Then Logan yells.
Paul then says that Seth has stolen oxygen from every human being worth living on Earth, and that Mr. Lynch is not one of them. Then Paul said he would do something about it. And Paul said he plans to give it his all the next time he steps in a WWE ring. Paul then says that’s not a prediction or a spoiler. Paul then says it’s a personal guarantee from the organization. Austin Theory then says that his theory goes all the way back to Seth, but doesn’t move forward. Austin then says what Seth did to Logan. Logan then calls Seth a scumbag. And he said you eliminated three people in the chamber before you stole the victory from him. And he says the last person to do that is Brock Lesnar. And he said that’s the company he protects. Then he said the rest of this show wouldn’t happen until Adam Pearce came out with security and said they got it. Pearce then suggested that he injured Jey Uso on Friday. Pierce then says he doesn’t want to hold the show hostage.
Paul then says that they had nothing to do with Jay, but will plead guilty in advance for what they do to Seth. Then Paul throws the microphone. Pierce says he needs to talk to Seth, but he’s going to do something crazy if you’re here. A masked man appears and is chased through the crowd by security guards. Another masked man appears and Logan follows him through the crowd. A third masked man then appears and Theory chases him through the crowd. Then Paul looks around and he is alone. Paul then leaves the ring, but sees a masked man appear in the hallway. pole. Then, as he stares at this man, another masked man appears with a chair on the apron behind him. Then he took off his mask and it was Seth Rollins. Seth then hits Paul in the back with a chair. Seth then hits Blackout on Paul. Seth then leaves among the crowd. Medical staff then slipped into the ring to check on Paul. Paul is then helped out of the ring, but his nose is bleeding.
We then see Paul being taken into an ambulance and Logan and Theory returning to the scene. Logan then asks to know what’s going on. Later, Logan gets the car and Theory gets in it too, but gets punched by Jimmy Uso. Jimmy then hits another punch, sending Theory into a storage case. L.A. Knight said it was a good job and drove off in an ambulance.
Gunther then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Dragon Lee.
Single match: “The Ring General” Gunther vs. Dragon Lee
The match begins with Lee attacking Gunther from behind in the hallway. Lee then kicks Gunther, and Lee hits a dropkick over the ropes. Lee then hits a kick to Gunther’s head and charges at Gunther, but Gunther hits a back body drop into the timekeeper area. The referee then checks on Lee and Gunther returns to the ring. Lee then returns to the ring. Gunther then hits Lee with a series of kicks and follows up with a slam. Gunter then hits a European uppercut and a powerful Irish whip. Gunter then hits a European uppercut.
Gunther then hits Lee with a series of kicks and chokes Lee against the ropes. Lee then hits punches and chops. Gunther removes his mask and kicks Lee in the back of the neck. Lee then throws a flurry of punches and chops Gunther, but Gunther chops Lee and sends Lee to the mat. Gunther goes for the mask again, but Lee goes to the ropes. Lee then hits a punch and forearm. Then Gunter hits him with a boot to the head. Gunther then hits Lee with a series of kicks to the chest. Guenther then put on his mask again and the referee warned him. Lee then hits a kick and then a second one, but Gunter gets back to his feet. Lee then hits a series of chops and Gunther hits a clothesline for a near fall. Lee then counters a powerbomb with a rana, resulting in a near fall.
Gunther then chops Lee on the apron, Gunther goes for a sleeper on the apron, but Lee escapes. Lee then kicks Gunther and he jumps over Gunther. Lee then avoids a boot in the corner and Lee hits some dropkicks and dropkicks Gunther to the floor. Lee then hits a suicide dive, but Gunther catches him and sends Lee to the apron, following up with a chop. Gunther then kicks Lee to the floor. Lee then returned to the ring, beating the count. Gunther then kicks Lee in the head. Gunter hits a chop and talks to the crowd. Gunther then hits an Irish whip but gets hit by a boot. Lee continues to throw punches, but Gunther hits a backbreaker.
Gunther then paints Lee and Lee hits a chop. Gunther then throws a series of punches and tries for a powerbomb, but Lee escapes. Lee then hits a kick and clotheslines GUNTHER, but GUNTHER stands up. Lee goes for a floating powerbomb, but Gunther hits a back body drop and Lee stands up. Lee then hesitates and hits a dropkick in the corner. Lee then activates Operation Dragon, and Gunther counters with Emerald Flosion. Gunther then hits a powerbomb and sets up another powerbomb. Gunther then hits a second powerbomb and Gunther pulls Lee up at two. Gunther then kicks Lee to the floor. Gunther then hits a powerbomb onto the apron and the announce desk.
Gunther breaks the count and goes for another powerbomb, but Lee counters with a sunset flip powerbomb. Lee then dropkicks Gunther from the apron and hits a suicide dive that sends Gunther flying onto the announce desk. Lee then slams Operation Dragon to the floor. Gunter then barely beat the count. Lee hits more clotheslines and kicks, but Gunter gets back up. Lee then clotheslines Gunther down. Lee then goes to Operation Dragon and Gunther applies Sleeper. Gunther then removes his mask and Lee taps out.
The winner of the single match is “Ring General” GUNTHER!
After the match, Gunter takes his time and lets go of the hold.
We then headed to the back where we saw Asuka screaming next to Kairi. Asuka says Kairi should have been in the room. Kairi then cries and tells Asuka that Kairi told her she did a good job last week. Asuka then yelled at Kairi and pushed her away. A.J. Lee. He appears there and asks Kairi if she’s okay. Asuka then screams Kairi’s name and leaves.
Next, we will discuss Austin theory and Logan Paul. Logan says you all saw a 60-year-old man get stomped on the curb and you want to know what the problem is. And fans don’t respect Paul Heyman, he says. Logan then says that they are good people, but they are messed up. And he says Seth Rollins, Adam Pearce, and Nick Aldis screwed them over. And he says Austin will beat Jimmy Uso tonight. Austin then says he can meet him in the ring if he wants to sneak up on him. And he said tonight you’re going to see it and feel it.
AJ Lee then goes down to the ring. AJ started saying he didn’t really know how we got here. AJ then says he came back to snatch the hair from Becky’s head. AJ then says that he ended up losing the title. AJ then says he wasn’t sure if he could still go. AJ then said that the fans knew she could go and brought her back for 10 years. AJ then says that he remembered her from a time when you wanted to forget. AJ then says that you made her believe that she can fight the strongest opponent. AJ then says it’s Becky. AJ then points out that she beat Becky, saying she’s the best of the best. And AJ said Becky gave him the fight of his life, but she proved she still has the potential to be champion. AJ then says that he is who he thinks he is.
And AJ said now Becky is behind her and WrestleMania is in front of her. AJ then says he won’t wait until then. Then AJ says he will become a fighting champion. And AJ said it’s been 12 years since he held the title and he doesn’t take it for granted and has no intention of wasting any time. And AJ says a few weeks ago he mentioned a few women he’d like to get. AJ then says he knows they want her because he got the title. AJ then told her that if she thought she was the favorite and wanted to face her favorite wrestler’s favorite wrestler, then come after her. AJ says he will defend the title the next time he steps in this ring. AJ then tells everyone to show her.
Penta is then seen walking through the backstage area and an original El Grande Americano greets him. He said he was excited for the match and wished him luck. And the original Americano said that if Penta wins, he will be in the lead. Los Americano shows up and asks Original Americano how long he wants this farce to go on. And Grande says she’ll prove it at Rey de Reyes on March 14th. And Original Americano will be competing against Secondary Americano Uno tonight.
