AEW Double or Nothing Buy In Pre-Show Results (May 24, 2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The AEW Double or Nothing Buy In pre-show begins with Renee Paquette in the center of the ring as she welcomes us. Puckett then introduces Mick Foley and Foley comes down to the ring.

Once in the ring, Foley pointed out his daughter Noelle in the crowd. Puckett then asks what brought Foley to AEW. Foley said he started watching it again after taking a hiatus a few years ago. Foley credits AEW with getting him hooked on wrestling again. Foley then said he had lunch with Tony Khan 15 years ago and has considered him a friend ever since. Foley then said that when Khan expressed interest, he let him know he was interested in being a part of something.

Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone then welcome us to the pre-show, followed by Viva Vann, Zayda Steele and Christopher Daniels in the ring for the first match of the buy-in pre-show, followed by Divine Dominion.

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship 5-minute eliminator match: AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Divine Dominion (“The Megasus” Megan Bain & Lena Cross) vs. Skyflight’s Zyda Steel & Viva Van

The match begins with a match between Megan Bayne and Zyda Steele, and a five-minute time limit begins. Steele then retreats outside the ring and regroups with Vann and Daniels. She then returns inside and attempts to hit Bane with a Tornado DDT, but Bane sees her coming and stops her. Steele then attempts to roll up Bane, but Bane blocks her and chases her around the ring. Van then tags in and flies off the ring apron to attack Bane. She then lowbridges Bane over the top rope and out of the ring, but Cross nails Vann out of the ring and brings her back inside the ring. Bane hits Van with a shoulder in the corner and makes a tag to Cross with 2 1/2 minutes left.

Cross then nails Van with a basement clothesline and pins him, but Van kicks out. Cross then stops her, but Van hits Cross with an enzuigiri with a minute and a half left. Steele also tags in and hits a headscissors on Cross. She then nails her with a step-up knee and tags out to Bane. With 30 seconds left, Bane hit a boot on Steele and hit a double chokeslam with Cross for the win.

The winner of the 5-minute eliminator match for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship is AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champion Divine Dominion (“The Megasus” Megan Bayne & Lena Cross)!

After the match, Anna Jay and Tay Mero descend into the ring with a 2×4 piece of wood and a lead pipe in each hand as Divine Dominion retreats.

The Death Riders then go down to the ring for their next match in the buy-in pre-show, followed by The Ops.

Trio match: The Ops (“The Ruthless Handsome Devil” Hook, “The Five Tool Player”, “The Pride of Pro Wrestling” Anthony Bowens, “The Wrestler” Katsuyori Shibata) vs. The Death Riders (Yuta Wheeler, Daniel Garcia, Claudio Castagnoli)

The match begins with all six men in the ring and a brawl ensues. Shibata is currently in attendance and has made a motion for Castagnoli to do the same. Castagnoli responds and they exchange rolling elbows. Castagnoli overcomes this, but Shibata catches him with a running kick and takes control of the attack.
