AEW Dynamite Results (8/6/2025): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with Excalibur, which hypes the stage pyro shooting and the main event of MJF and Mark Briscoe. When Excalibur introduces promotions from MJF, MJF will appear behind. He holds a guaranteed contract and a CMLL Championship. MJF starts by saying that Mark Brisco will pay, and he tells Brisco that he is looking at the eyes of the demons. MJF says there’s no problem sending Brisco to hell. MJF says Briscoe is not a championship material, he is white trash that has given him good fortune. That’s why fans are rooting for him. MJF says they sympathize with him and Brisco’s luck will run out tonight.
Excalibur then runs down the rest of tonight’s card, while John Moxley heads into the ring for the first match of the night with Marina Shafir and Wheeler Utah. “Speedball” followed by Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight.
Single Match: Death Rider John Moxley vs. Jetspede’s “Speed Ball” Mike Bailey
The match begins with a speedball kicking Moxley at the corner. Bailey Speedball hits several chops and he climbs onto the second rope and punches Moxley into the face. Moxley then breaks out and he gets a speed ball on the corner. Moxley then gets on the second rope and hits the speed ball with his right hand. Moxley then hits the body slam and he goes to the cover, but the speedball kicks out. Moxley then hits several forearms in the face and he throws a speedball onto the rope, but the speedball hits a kick in the face. Moxley then drops to the outside of the ring, with a speedball on the ring apron. Moxley then returns to the ring. Moxley then thrusts into his eyes, and the speed ball spills outwards. Moxley then travels the speedball to the floor with the referee and Shafir.
Kevin Knight enters Shafir’s face as Moxley returns the speedball to the ring. Moxley then enters the knight’s face, with both men facing each other. The speedball then hits Moonsaw from Moxley’s second rope on the outside of the ring. The speedball then stands on the barricade and hits a double knee on Moxley’s back, and Moxley leaps against the barricade.
The speedball delivers a chop to Moxley’s chest in the corner. Moxley then returns his favor, delivering some forearms to the speedball and slams the boots on the side of his face. Speedball then delivers some kicks to Moxley, then hits a drop kick to him from the middle rope, then delivers more kicks to Moxley, followed by a standing shooting star press.
Moxley then sets up to lock the bulldog choke with the speedball, but the speedball escapes and climbs onto the top rope. He then bumps into Moonzoo and moves to the armbar, but Moxley counters to the pinfall. The speedball then turns back to his own fall, with both men pinning each other in alternating fashion. Utah then deflects the speedball and opens the door for Moxley to hit the speedball kick and crash into the mat.
Derby Allin then sneaks up behind Wheeler Utah in a rag, pulling him away from ringside, allowing the speedball to hit a spinning back heel kick with Moxley and cinch with another armbar. Moxley then refutes the bulldog choke with a speedball, then beats the death rider with a speedball.

After the match, Moxley leaves the ring and jumps barricades with Marina Shafir as she chases Derby Allin.
Next, Lenny Puckett heads back with Alex Windsor and Tony Storm. Storm drops the sexual indication and challenges Athena to sign a contract and cash it tonight. Alex Windsor says Queen Aminata and Sky Blue can’t lick them without giving them a lick, so they should be ready. Storm says it’s time to tape their boobs and tango.
Afterwards, Moxley and Shafir look at their bodies in their body bags for a while, so they head out to the outside of the arena. Derby Allin then drives next to them in a truck and then drives. After that, you will open the body bag and find a piece of paper with the words “Forbidden Doors.”
