Derby Allin breaks world record on Mount Everest

Derby Allin is currently climbing Mount Everest and breaking records in the process. On social media, Allin shared footage of herself landing a kickflip in Camp 2. At 20,958 feet, this marks the highest elevation that a kickflip has ever performed.

Allin’s Everest Expedition is the latest high-risk stunt from the former AEW TNT champion. He was originally scheduled to begin climbing in 2024, but injuries delayed those plans. He will not wrestling in the mountains, but Allin proudly represents AEW and said he will plant an all-elite flag at the summit if he reaches the top.

The 29,000-foot mountain is not something to take lightly. More than 320 people have died trying to expand the mountain since the records began, according to the Himalayas database. Allin says that Sting tried to talk to him from the climb, but took the opportunity to take the advice of his mentor.

Climbers who have perished the mountain are often left there as reminders of the risks associated with body removal, signs of commitment to climbing, and the dangers of nature. Over 20,000 feet, Allin is passing along the way, and a few people plan to achieve this so far.
