AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage Results (January 14, 2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with a meet and greet from Excalibur, introducing Bryan Danielson and Tony Schiavone as broadcast partners. Excalibur then runs through the show’s lineup.
We then see a recap where Samoa Joe states that The Ops will defend the trios titles at Collision. Joe then sets a bounty on Hangman Page and tells him that tonight Page will face Brian Keith.
Darby Allin then comes down to the ring for the first match of the night. The Death Riders then follow, and PAC tells everyone else to stay behind.
Single match: Darby Allin vs. Death Riders “The Bastard” PAC
The match starts with PAC and Allin hitting a suicide dive at ringside. PAC then climbs over the barricade and falls into the fans. Allin then hits a series of right hands and locks him in a headlock. Allin then grabs PAC and grinds his face against the railing. Allin then grabs PAC by the hair and begins climbing the stairs towards the top of the arena. PAC then hits a series of rights, but Allin hits a dropkick. Allin then climbs one of the railings and hits a coffin drop on PAC.
PAC starts running down the stairs and around the ring as Allin stands up. Allin then runs towards PAC, but PAC moves out of the way and Allin runs into the barricade. PAC then hits a release German suplex outside the ring. PAC then moves through the ring steps and grabs Allin. He then hits Allin with a belly-to-back suplex into the ring steps. PAC then sends Allin into the ring. PAC then hits a clothesline on Allin. He then goes for a cover, but Allin kicks out. PAC then slingshots Allin towards the second rope. He then goes for a cover, but Allin kicks out. PAC then sends Allin into the ropes and hits a backdrop. PAC then hits a German suplex and goes for the cover but Allin kicks out.
Allin then hits a dropkick from the top rope. Allin then goes to the ropes and hits a coffin splash off the second rope. Allin then hits a dropkick. He then runs towards PAC, but PAC hits him belly-to-belly and Allin crashes into the turnbuckle. PAC then puts Allin on the top rope and hits a belly-to-belly. PAC then lifts Allin up and hits the Razor’s Edge, throwing Allin off the top rope and onto the attached ring ramp. The referee then counts to nine, but Allin returns to the ring. PAC is sitting on the top rope and falls but hurts his ankle. Allin then lands some right hands to PAC and the ankle. PAC then rolls outside the ring and Allin climbs to the top rope and hits a coffin drop on PAC.
Allin then puts PAC on the ring apron. Allin then climbs to the top rope and hits a coffin drop. PAC then gets back in the ring but Allin hits a splash in the corner. Allin then goes for another splash, but PAC pulls the referee forward and Allin punches him. Allin then looks at the referee and PAC grabs Allin but Allin drops PAC. Allin then tightens the Scorpion Deathlock and PAC taps out. Wheeler Yuta comes in with a steel chair from the outside, but Allin kicks him and hits a Scorpion Death Drop onto the chair. Allin then hits a Scorpion Death Drop on PAC. Allin then puts PAC’s ankle between chairs, climbs the second rope and hits a coffin drop on PAC’s ankle. Allin then throws a chair out of play and gets PAC in a Scorpion Deathlock. PAC then taps out and the referee calls for the bell.

After the match, medical personnel Yuta and Marina Shafir check PAC’s ankle in the ring.
Brian Keith then makes his way down to the ring for his next match against Big Bill, followed by Hangman Page.
Single match: “Hangman” Adam Page vs. “Bounty Hunter” Brian Keith
The match started with Big Bill on the ring apron and Page hit a running big boot to Keith’s face. Page then drives Keith into the corner and hits him with a right hand. Keith then falls onto the ring apron, but Page hits a kick that sends him out of the ring. Paige then goes outside, but gets distracted by Big Bill. Keith then hits a right hand, but Page pushes Keith into the barricade. He then brings Keith back in the ring and Page hits a chop to the chest. Page then hits an elbow to the face. Big Bill then distracts Paige and Keith hits a headbutt. Keith then hits some right hands.
While Keith distracts the referee, Bill says something nasty to Paige. Keith then slams Page into the steel steps. Page then comes back but Keith hits a drop toe hold. Keith gets a two count with another knee strike and an exploder suplex. Page then stops Keith with a fallaway slam. Page then hits a lariat on Keith and gets a nearfall. Keith then hits a belly-to-belly suplex into the turnbuckle and nearly gets Page a three count. Paige then fights back and hits a lariat on Keith. Bill then tangles behind the referee, but Swerve Strickland comes in and chokes Bill with a steel chain. Paige then hit Keith with a buckshot lariat for the win.

After the match, Strickland enters the ring. Page then tells Keith to go pick up another bounty. Paige then tells Samoa Joe that she plans to take everything away. Strickland then tells MJF that if he wins tonight, he will lose because they will come after him. Strickland then said it’s 2026 and he has New Year’s resolutions. Strickland then said that it’s been a while since he’s had the AEW World Championship on his hip and this is what the fans want. Strickland says this is everyone’s home, and fans say it’s Swerve’s home.
Then Kenny Omega’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Omega says he won’t speak for anyone else in the ring, but he has something to prove. Omega then says that there was a meaning behind everyone calling him the God of Pro Wrestling. Omega then says that if they still believe, then he still believes. Omega then said he understands that to win the belt, he can’t just become EVP and make it happen by snapping his fingers. Omega then says he has to win some matches first. And Omega says he will aim for that belt, whether it’s enemy or ally. Omega looks at Paige and tells Paige that there are three people aiming for the championship. And, he says, unfortunately this is not a team effort, so if you pass them on the way to the championship, the best player may win. Paige and Omega then shake hands as Paige’s music plays. Strickland then attacks Omega in the face.
Page and Strickland head to the back and Don Callis and his family come out. Charis says he has something important to talk about. Charis tells Omega that she has always been a big fan. Caris then says that although he has always been a big MJF fan, he questions his own logic and even considered dating someone as bad as Omega. Callis said he wants the title now that Omega is back, but he has to win some matches. Charis tells Omega that if he wants to wrestle, how about wrestling the man who broke Ibushi’s leg and the man who sent him to the hospital, walking weapon Josh Alexander.
Omega says he can barely hear himself over the fan, but it sounds like Don is issuing a challenge. Omega tells Josh that he has some free time tonight. Then Don stops Josh and the fans boo. Don then said that they had known each other for many years and Omega had forgotten how their relationship worked. And Omega is right with Papa, he says, and Papa decides when the match will take place. He then said that Omega would get Josh but he would be on Dynamite next week because he was right. Don and the Don Callis family then walk to the back. Omega then says, as you first heard here, that it will be next week, but today was the first step towards him becoming the new AEW World Champion.
Later, Brody King and Renee Paquette are seen backstage, and then John Cruise appears. King then tells him to meet him in the ring. Brody King then throws John Crews into the ringside area.
Single match: Brody King vs. John Cruz
The match begins with John Crews being thrown into the ring by Brody King. King then lifts Cruise up and hits him with a Gonzo Bomb. King then goes for the cover and gets the win.
The singles match winner is Brody King!
After the match, King said he wanted Bandido to slam MJF from pillar to post. And King said he thinks Bandido will leave as AEW World Champion tonight.
Next, we get the MJF vs. Bandido video package.
The Don Callis Family then makes their way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Jet Speed, GOA, and The Young Bucks, with Don Callis and Ricochet joining the announce desk.
AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders 4-Way Tag Match: The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson) vs. The Demand’s GOA (Toa Liona, Bishop Coun.) vs. JetSpeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight, “Speedball” Mike Bailey) vs. The Don Callis Family (Jake Doyle, Mark Davis)
The match begins with the Young Bucks attacking Mark Davis and Jake Doyle. Jetspeed then defeats Bishop Coun and Toa Liona. Jet Speed and the Bucks entered the ring. They then have an exchange before Davis and Doyle interrupt. GOA then faces Davis and Doyle, but Jet Speed hits a dropkick. All four teams are active at the moment, with the Bucks standing tall. Nick Jackson then takes out multiple stars on the floor with a dive. Davis and Doyle then thwart a double BTE trigger attempt and fight Coun and Riona. Furthermore, when Toa Liona lands a moonsault outside the venue, GOA goes wild.
Back in the ring, The Young Bucks double team Mark Davis, who gets taken down by Jake Doyle. Kevin Knight is then defeated by Davis and Doyle. Davis and Doyle then throw Mike Bailey across the ring. Bayley then fights Davis and Doyle, but gets taken down. The Young Bucks and GOA are nowhere to be seen at the moment. After some exchanges, the Young Bucks and Jetspeed are left stranded. They fight back at each other again before all four fall to the mat.
GOA then double-teamed the Young Bucks one by one. Matt Jackson then hits a spike, but Kevin Knight breaks the count. Liona then carries the Young Bucks on her shoulders, but Bayley hits Liona with the Ultima Weapon. Bishop Coun then interrupts the three-count attempt. The Young Bucks then hit everyone with a superkick. They then hit Bayley with a stomp/powerbomb combo. The Young Bucks then hit the BTE Trigger on Kevin Knight, but Ricochet drags the referee out of the ring.
Jack Perry then flies out of nowhere and defeats Ricochet, but GOA defeats Perry. Inside the ring, Bayley hits a double kick on Doyle and Davis and nails Davis with an enzuigiri. Doyle then powerbombed Bayley over Bucks and GOA, and Davis hit a piledriver on Knight for the win.

After the match, FTR and Big Stoke (in wheelchairs) come down to the ring. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood then entered the ring and stared Doyle and Davis before a brawl broke out between all four men. Officials then jumped into the ring and tried to break up the four men.
SkyFlight (Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin, Darius Martin, Zayda Steele, Christopher Daniels) then cuts a promo backstage. Steele talks about dealing with Marina Shafir and says she bullies bullies. Sky and Martins will face Kyle Fletcher, Josh Alexander, and El Cron at Collision. Skye then says that when everyone should be focusing on the now, they’re focusing on the next thing.
Triangle of Madness then makes their way down to the ring for their next match of the night, followed by Babes of Wrath and Chris Statlaender.
Trio match: AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander and AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions Babes of Wrath (AEW TBS Champion Willow Nightingale, Harley Cameron) vs. Triangle of Madness (“The Toxic Spider” Tekla, Sky Blue, Julia Hart)
The match started with Thekla and Statlander. Hart then makes a tag, but Statlender gets the takedown. She then grabs Hart, but Hart puts her in a headlock. He then throws Hart into the ropes and Statlender hits a back suplex. Cameron tags in next. Cameron and Statlander double team Hart. Cameron then goes for a cover, but Hart kicks out. Cameron then goes to the ropes and hits a sling blade. She then goes for a cover but Hart kicks out. Willow then tags in and Willow hits a body slam. Willow then goes for a cover, but Hart kicks out.
She then grabs Hart, but Hart hits a right hand. Sky Blue is then tagged. Sky Blue hits a forearm to the face. She then runs towards Willow, but Willow hits her with a kick to the side of the head. She then grabs Sky Blue, but Sky Blue rides on Willow’s back. Willow then slams her to the mat and Statlander tags in. Statlender goes for the cover but Sky Blue kicks out. Cameron then tags in, but Sky Blue hits a drop toe hold. He then goes for the cover, but Cameron kicks out.
Cameron and Thecla get in the ring. Statlander tags in and slams Thekla to the mat. Hart then gets in the ring but Statlender hits a backbreaker. Sky Blue then comes in but gets thrown into the corner. Statlender then hits a running knee on Tecla. She then tries a cover but Blue breaks it up. Hart comes in, but Statlender takes them both down. He grabs Blue again, but Blue hits a DDT. Willow then hits Blue with a spinebuster. Thecla then hits a kick to the side of the head. Cameron then hits Thecla with a backstabber.
Cameron is tagged in next. Cameron then tags Willow and they double team Team Thekla. Willow then goes for a cover, but Hart breaks it up. Blue then slams Cameron to the mat. Statlander then takes down Heart and Blue. Thekla then brings down the Statlander. Willow then hits Thekla with a clothesline. Willow then lifts her up, but Thecla knocks her down. Statrender is then tagged. Thekla then hits Statlender with a spear. Thekla then hits the Stomp. She then goes for the cover and gets the win.

Next we head to the back and Renee Paquette is with Jetspeed, but Swerve Strickland comes in. He tells Bayley that he will have to wrestle someday and tells Knight that his time has come. Strickland then leaves and “The Hangman” Adam Page appears. He said that although he may have lost tonight, he will win the Trios Tag Team Titles this Saturday at Jet Speed.
It was then announced that the Rascals would be coming to AEW.
Bandido then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night, followed by MJF.
AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) vs. Brodid ROH World Champion Bandido
The match starts with both men locking up and Bandido rolling up MJF for a two count. MJF then reverses with a shoulder block. MJF then hits a strut, but Bandido hits an arm drag. Bandido then swept MJF off his feet and hit a series of nearfalls. Bandido then slams MJF to the mat, but MJF rolls out of the ring and takes a breather. Bandido then follows up with a big dive to the outside. MJF then turns the tables by locking Bandido’s arm into the ropes. MJF then applies an armlock before putting Bandido on the mat and getting a two count. MJF then drops Bandido off the top rope before both men mock each other. Bandido also gets a two count with a rollup.
MJF then stops Bandido with a kick and follows up with a shoulder breaker. MJF then sends Bandido into the turnbuckles to regain control of this match. MJF then slams Bandido shoulder first into the turnbuckle and stomps on him. Bandido then came back and hit MJF with a few right hands in the corner. MJF then escapes and puts Bandido on the mat. Next, MJF goes for the Three Amigos, but Bandido blocks him just before the third one. After a back and forth, Bandido hits a DDT and pins MJF to the mat.
MJF then stops Bandido with a back elbow to the jaw and follows up with a stomp on Bandido’s arm. Bandido then counters with Salt of Earth and rolls up for a two count. Bandido then hits MJF with a dive to the outside. Bandido then hits a crossbody on MJF from the top turnbuckle and over the barricade. Back in the ring, Bandido gets a 2 count with a Code Red. MJF then hits Bandido with a cutter for a near fall. The two men then exchanged blows, and Bandido got another two count from the Shooting Star Press. MJF then counters a Code Red and hits a small package for a two count.
Both men then exchange quick roll-ups, and Bandido hits an X-knee and a 21-plex, but can’t get the bridge and gets a 3 count. Bandido then gets a 2 count, but MJF counters with the Salt of the Earth. Bandido tries to grab the ropes but MJF pulls Bandido back. MJF then tightened the label lock and Bandido passed out.
MJF is the winner and is still the AEW World Champion!
After the match, MJF grabbed the microphone and said he laughed when Bandido told him he would become AEW World Champion. MJF says after the wrestling that Bandido was right. MJF then says it hurts to say that this Bandido is going to be world champion in AEW someday, which means he unfortunately has to. MJF then brings the championship to Bandido. MJF then grabbed Bandido’s mask, but Brody King went down to the ring and MJF left the ring and ran to the back. Dynamite then ends as Brody King and Bandido get into the ring.
