Eric Bischoff Predicts Vince McMahon’s Comeback to WWE Television

When Vince McMahon came back to WWE in 2023 and quickly orchestrated a merger with the UFC, it showcased his shrewd business skills. However, McMahon was soon compelled to step away quietly following allegations of sexual assault and human trafficking. This departure surprised many who had known him for years, including Eric Bischoff, who believes McMahon will eventually make a return to WWE television.

“I honestly think he will,” Bischoff said on the 83 Weeks podcast. “I’ve said it before, probably in private discussions. I tend to look for patterns.” He pointed to McMahon’s subtle reemergence, recalling the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame event where Paul “Triple H” Levesque gave a heartfelt nod to McMahon—the first positive mention of Vince on WWE TV, in Bischoff’s view. Since then, Bischoff has observed other signs indicating McMahon is being slowly brought back into the fold.

Bischoff explained, “It’s very understated, but over time, more will become clear. I expect a carefully managed PR rehabilitation that will gradually lead to McMahon making some TV appearances—not frequently, and not regular spots.”

Fan Take: Vince McMahon’s potential return is significant because his influence has shaped WWE for decades. For fans, this development could signal major shifts in storylines and leadership dynamics that might redefine the future of professional wrestling.
