WWE SmackDown Results (4/3/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show opens with a meet and greet from Joe Tessitore, who narrates various shots of Rhea Ripley, Jade Cargill, Michin, B-Fab, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyrie arriving at the arena. And Tessitore puts tonight’s attendance at 11,620. Tessitore and Wade Barrett then check into the commentary desk to talk about WrestleMania being just two weeks away.
They then set up a video package for the RAW opening segment between Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Stephanie McMahon.
Then Randy Orton’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Orton grabs the microphone and starts asking St. Louis what he wants to talk about. Orton then says it’s no secret that this is his hometown. Orton said he was raised here as a child and still calls St. Louis home, and the next time he sees him in this arena, he’ll have No. 15 firmly on his hip. Orton then says he’s not doing it for them, he’s doing it for himself, his family, and his real home, which is not St. Louis. Orton then says he’s doing it for the six people in the front row. And Orton said he plans to leave Las Vegas at WrestleMania 42 with the Undisputed WWE Championship hanging around his waist. Orton then said that whether Cody Rhodes walks, crawls, carries, or is stretchered from Las Vegas, he intends to leave WrestleMania 42 empty-handed.
Orton then says Cody gave him his blessing and it’s nothing personal between them. Orton then says Cody told him he can be the Viper, he can be who he needs to be, he can be the best version of himself. Orton then says he said he heard voices. Orton then says he saw a voice talking to him and saw him in the ring with Stephanie McMahon. Orton then says that Stephanie wasn’t lying when she told Cody that Cody can’t beat him, and that the voices in Cody’s head were saying the same thing. Orton then tells Cody that Cody is not the murderer. Orton then says that he woke up inside of him and that he can’t go back to bed.
Cody Rhodes’ music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring. Cody and Randy Orton then throw punches and Cody gets the advantage and corners Randy in the corner. Cody then kicks and punches Randy again. Pat McAfee then appears in the ring and kicks Cody in both areas. Pat and Randy exchange looks, and as Randy goes to the floor to get a chair, Pat kicks Cody. Pat takes the microphone from Randy, and Randy hits Cody in the ribs with the microphone. Pat then says the Rams are out of town, the Blues won’t make the playoffs, and the Blues suck. Then Randy says this is no longer his home. Then Randy says it’s not a good night for St. Louis. Randy then hits Cody with a chair. Pat said he might ask why he was here. Pat then said that he was doing a Q&A about a month ago and was asked when he would be returning to WWE. Pat says he thought the business had just passed him by. Then Pat said he couldn’t watch it and thought it was absolute crap.
Orton hits Cody with a chair. Pat then said Orton called him and told him the business wasn’t passing him by, it was just going in a direction they didn’t like. Pat then mentions fans from the WWE Attitude era and starts off with what? Pat then says that the people who walked around and said, “If I smell it,” the fans who carried this company on their backs and embarked on billions of universes have been forgotten. Pat then turns on the WWE TV and says why do I have to watch two 5-foot-5 guys have a 45-minute Iron Man match for five weeks straight when Randy Orton is there? Then Pat said why did he turn on Netflix when he could see all the gorillas beeping when Randy Orton was there?
Pat then said that tickets to WrestleMania are still somehow available while Randy Orton is around, and that Smackdown, which just came off its lowest-rated episode in history, has a puppet of a man representing the champions and everything they hate. Pat says he was the one who told Randy Orton on the phone that he had to kill them all. Pat then says it’s because the business Cody is leading is terrible and Orton will save the shitty business. Orton and Pat walk through the gorillas to the back.
Then we head to the back where Pat says mission accomplished. Orton then tells him in his ear that he needed him. Pat then says that sometimes you need to remind people that they’re in the GOAT conversation. They then get into a pickup truck and drive off.
Rhea Ripley then comes down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Michin and B-Fab.
Single match: “The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley vs. Meechin
The match begins with Rhea throwing punches and thrusting kicks. Rhea then hits some punches in the corner, followed by a few forearms and shoulders. Rea then hits a hard Irish whip and shoulder into the corner. Rhea then hits a fallaway slam. rare. Jade Cargill then stopped her attack as she made her way down the aisle to the ring. Rhea then hits a fallaway slam and Jade approaches the ring. Michin then hits a German suplex and hits some punches on Rhea. Michin then hits a series of forearms and kicks. Rhea then hits punches and forearms. Michin then hits a clothesline for a near fall. Michin then sends Rhea to the floor and B-Fab hits a forearm while Michin is talking to the referee.
Jade then stands over Rhea on the floor. Michin then goes to the floor and sends Rhea back into the ring, but Michin gets a near fall. Michin then tightens it with a bow and arrow, but Leah escapes. Michin then hits a kick and sends Rhea into the turnbuckles, choking her. Michin then hits a chop in the corner. Michin then hits an Irish whip but misses the boot. Rhea then hits a rollup for a near fall. Furthermore, Michin gets a nearfall with a shoulder tackle. Michin then chokes Rhea in the ropes and chops her on the back. Rea then hits a back heel kick. Rhea then hits a chop and some forearms from Michin. Rhea then hits a forearm, but Michin hits a dropkick for a near fall. Michin then hits a kick to the chest and back. Mitin then applies the guillotine. Rhea is then able to turn it into a suplex.
Rhea and Michin then exchange punches. Then Rhea hits a short arm clothesline, a back heel kick, and a faceplant. Rhea then hits a dropkick to the head. Rhea then goes for a slam, but Michin escapes. Rhea then hits Michin with a headbutt, and Michin hits a razor’s edge and a running knee for a near fall. Rhea then goes for Riptide, but Michin escapes and sends Rhea to the mat. Then Mi Ching hits a roundhouse kick. Michin then misses a cannonball and Rhea hits a roundhouse kick and she puts Michin on her shoulders. Michin then performed an Eat Defeat with Poizrana for a nearfall. Michin then argues with the referee. Michin then hits a powerbomb and sets up a second bomb, but Rhea hits a back body drop and goes for the Prism Lock, causing Michin to tap out.

After the match, Rhea did not release the hold and B-Fab attacked. Rhea then takes care of Fab. Jade then gets on the apron and Michin attacks Rhea from behind. Fab then pins Rhea down and Jade hits a backfist. IYO SKY music then plays and she makes her way down to the ring. IYO then hits a shorty on Mi Chin and she sends a fab leg into Mi Chin. Then Rhea and Iyo hit stereo dropkicks. Next, IYO performs an ear gimmick.
Then I see Matt Cardona in the background and he says it’s okay now. Aleister Black and Zelina appear and tell Matt that he should have listened. And Randy says he’s back to being the old Randy. Matt then says if you want to take credit for what Randy did, go ahead, but he went to Aldis for the game tonight. Black then says Cardona likes to make bad decisions.
We then see Solo Shikoa asking how he can challenge Lantern. And he said he would keep it out of his sight. Then he says who will step up. Tama Tonga asks why he is fighting for this lantern. Solo then asks to know what Tama said. Tama then says that the lantern was nothing but a problem for them, especially Solo. Solo then tells Tama to fight for him. Tama then says that she will do it and will go out alone. Solo tells Tama not to mess this up.
Afterwards, IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley were seen behind them, looking happy to see each other. Kathy Kelly then asks Rhea if IYO is a proactive way to even the odds at WrestleMania. Rhea then says that Jade can’t do it alone. Leah then says that Jade didn’t know she had a backup plan. Leah then says that Jade has followers, but she has friends. Then IYO said that he would continue to support Rhea. Rhea then said that when they are together they are unstoppable and that is why she will be ejected from the new Women’s Champion at WrestleMania.
Tama Tonga then walked down to the ring for the next match of the night, only to find Uncle Howdy already waiting inside the ring.
Single match: Wyatt Thicke’s Uncle Howdy vs. MFT’s Tama Tonga
The match starts with Tama missing a clothesline and Howdy goes for the Mandible Claw, but Tama blocks it. Howdy then hits a knee to the midsection and sends Tama into the turnbuckle. Howdy then hits some kicks and runs into an uppercut. Tama throws a series of punches and chokes Howdy. Tama then hits a headbutt and kick. Tama then chokes Howdy on the ropes and sends Howdy over the top rope. Howdy then goes to the floor. Tama then hits a forearm while they wrestle on the floor. Tama then sends Howdy into the stairs and stomps on his hand. Tama then returns to the ring and beats the count, sending Howdy into the ringside barrier. Then Tama throws a series of punches. Tama then hits a forearm from the ring step.
They then returned to the ring and Tama threw a series of punches. Then Tama crashes into a sliding clothesline. Furthermore, Tama repeatedly punches the back of the head. Then Tama chokes Howdy with the rope. Tama hits an elbow in the corner and follows up with a dropkick. Tama then applies a nerve hold on Howdy. Howdy then hits a series of elbows and punches, but Tama hits a clothesline. Tama hits a double sled to the back and kicks Howdy into the corner. Tama slides back into the corner and goes for a splash into the corner, but Howdy catches him with a mandible claw. Solo then comes out with a lantern, even though he said he would stay behind. Howdy gets distracted and Tama sends Howdy into the ropes. Tama and Solo then get into an argument, and Tama transforms into Sister Abigail to win.

After the match, Solo says he was trying to help, and Tama says he didn’t need help. Tama then takes the lantern from Solo and places it on the mat for Howdy to receive. Howdy then obtains the lantern and Tama stops Solo from getting it back.
Kit Wilson and The Miz are then seen walking behind, and Kit says he’s worried about the curse. Miz tells Kit there is no curse. Then R-Truth says he’s talking about the clubhouse. The Miz then says that Truth isn’t taking anything seriously, but things are going his way. Miz then says he will challenge Truth, and Truth accepts the challenge for a tag title match. Kit asks if he just got a title match.
Jacob Fatu then cut a promo and said this is what it is. Then Fatu says, “At WrestleMania, it’s me and you one on one.” Then Fatu said you were talking about something unauthorized. Fatu says his life has since been a roller coaster. And when you emerge from the gutter, Fatu says, you are forced to become a product of your environment. Fatu then says it’s not a question of who’s right and who’s wrong. Fatu said every day after that, and that determination, led him to this moment. And Fatu says there are no rules in this match. Fatu says there is no one to stop him or break it. Fatu says there’s no one to tell him what he can and can’t do against Drew’s punk bastard. Then Fatu says you are in his world. Fatu then says let’s see if it works.
Sami Zayn is then seen walking behind him and he talks to Nick Aldis and asks if he has pyro in celebration. Nick then says he hasn’t given Sami anything. Then Nick said he built the place himself.
Trick Williams music then plays as Sami Zayn tries to get into the ring. Trick then makes his way down to the ring with Lil Yachty. Then, when they got into the ring, the fans chanted, “That trick is amazing.” Trick then pointed at him, saying that the truth was that they were there to celebrate their first match at WrestleMania, but since they were bringing all the stars, Jerry Roll and Pat McAfee, it made sense to bring out his son Lil Yachty.
Lil Yachty then says WrestleMania isn’t for little boys and girls, it’s for legends in the making. Trick then says that he didn’t take her out just to celebrate. Trick then says he has something he wants to ask. Trick then says that if he goes back and things work out with him, he’ll pack his bags and bring it all white to WrestleMania, and Lil Yachty agrees. And Trick says there’s nothing he wouldn’t do to win a national championship. Trick then says that he has no intention of talking about the gingerbread man. Lil Yachty then tells him that he likes what he’s doing, but it’s disrespectful. He then said he would show him the trick at WrestleMania. Trick then reaches the top rope and tells Sami Zayn to hit the pyro as Trick Williams runs Smackdown. Trick then climbs the second rope and Pyro goes off.
Sami Zayn’s music hits and he gets down to the ring. Sami starts to say that she is ready to celebrate and that’s okay. Sami then said that this was her first time attending such a glamorous event. Sami then says he’s a little more working class. Sami then said he was talking about what happens when you step between these ropes. Sami then says there are 50,000 seats and they are facing the ring. Sami then says that fur coats and rap superstars don’t mean anything because he’s in the ring with the best. Sami then said that he would humble Trick.
The fans then boo and Trick says he thinks Ginger Snaps is upset. He then tells Zane that he realizes and doesn’t mention that the only reason he got that title is because of him. Trick then says the only reason he’s going to WrestleMania is for himself. Trick then says, “Thank you, Trick Williams, and you’re welcome, Sami Zayn.” Carmelo’s music then hits and Carmelo Hayes drops to the ring. Hayes then says that he can’t just leave this situation alone. He then tells Trick that they have a history, take the receipt, spin the block, and know the best place to do it. Then he started by saying that the way you acted last week didn’t resonate with him or anyone else. Hayes then says that he has carried SmackDown and the title on his shoulders. Then Hayes said you won the title and ran from the 1-yard line across the goal line.
And when you listen to people, he says, they don’t want Sami, they want Melo. Hayes then tells Sami to listen to the people and give them what they want. He then says he’s not asking for it, he’s telling Sami to give him a rematch. Trick then marches in the ring and Sami says he thinks it’s Haze’s world. Trick then said you were on SmackDown in an open challenge. Then Sami says he won’t take anything away. Sami then says you had an open challenge, which he answers and defeats Hayes. Then he says he didn’t mean that. And he said he could get a title match, but it would be on the other side of WrestleMania. Trick convinces Sami to try. Sami then says that Trick has a point. And says if Trick hadn’t been involved, he would have punched him.
And he says maybe, but there’s a trick involved. Sami then says the same thing happened to her. Sami then talks about what he did to Cody. Then he said the same thing happened here and it benefited him. Afterwards, he said he was happy to go to WrestleMania, but still had issues. Hayes told Sami to do it. Sami then told Hayes that if he wanted a rematch, he would allow it tonight. Trick then tells Ginger Snaps that he could have saved five minutes. Sami then hits a clothesline trick over the top rope to the floor.
Solo Shikoa is then seen asking Tama Tonga why she did that. Tama says she had to do it. Tama then says that a stupid lantern separated them. Tama then says he needs to get back to work and take away all the titles. Solo then says that Tama is right. Solo then says he’ll get back to work once he’s done with Wyatt. Solo asks him if they are good and Tama replies that they are.
Aleister Black and Zelina then go down to the ring for their next match of the night, followed by Matt Cardona.
Single match: Aleister Black vs. Matt Cardona
The match starts with Black scoring a single leg takedown and Matt running away from Black. Matt then hits a kick and hits a side headlock. Black then escapes and Matt hits an armdrag. Matt then hits a knee to the midsection. Black then chases after his injured arm and Matt runs away. Matt then hits a forearm but can’t get Black up into a flapjack. Black then stomps on his hand and works on his wrist. Matt then hits a knee and gets free. Black then applies a top wrist lock. Matt then hits a series of forearms, knocking Black to the floor, and then hits a dropkick over the ropes. Black then misses a roundhouse kick and Matt hits a forearm.
Matt then sends Black onto the apron and back into the ring. Matt then sends Black into the turnbuckles, Zelina relaxes on the apron and Black hits a leg sweep that drops Matt onto the apron. Black then hits a kick to the arm and an uppercut to the injured arm. Black then sends Matt’s shoulder into the ringside barrier and Matt follows up with a kick to the arm. Black then slams his arm into the ringside barrier and ring post. Black is then sent into the turnbuckle and Black misses a move away from the turnbuckle. Black then hits a kick and suplex for a near fall. Black then wraps his arm in the ropes and Matt sends Black to the floor. Matt then hits a kick and goes for the Tiger Driver, but he can’t wake Black up.
Black then hits a roundhouse kick for a near fall. Black then hits an Irish whip and rolls into a double wristlock. Black then misses a clothesline and Matt hits a powerbomb. Matt then hits a back elbow, but he tries to block the punch with his injured hand, showing off the damage he has endured. Matt then hits a faceplant, but the Tiger Bomb misses. Matt then counters a suplex attempt into a neckbreaker. Matt hits a forearm into the corner for a near fall.
Black then hotshots Matt and puts him on the turnbuckle. Black then goes for a superplex, but Matt drops Black face first into the mat. Matt then hits a missile dropkick and a tiger driver for a near fall. Matt then goes for a Woo Woo Kick, but Black moves. Black then hits a knee kick and a brainbuster for a near fall. Black then applies an armbar submission, but Matt rolls through and escapes. Black and Matt then trade forearms. Black then blocks a kick and Matt hits a forearm. Black then hits Black Mass and wins.

We then see Kathy Kelly with Lyra Valkyria and Bayley, and she asks about Bayley being on the WrestleMania card. Bailey says last year was bad, but she’s used to having her back against the wall. And she says Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss are getting a taste of what’s to come at WrestleMania. Lyla then says that if they went through what she and Bailey went through, they wouldn’t be friends. And she says she’s doing it for Bayley.

Next, take a look at Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae’s “R-Truth.” R-Truth says he thought Johnny was dead, but Candace tells him that Johnny is alive and that he will win tomorrow’s Stand and Deliver. They then leave and Damian Priest appears. Priest told R-Truth that there are a lot of good tag teams on SmackDown, but he decided to give Kit Wilson and The Miz a chance. Then R-Truth says it’s easy because Asuka cursed him. Priest then tells him that Asuka is on RAW and R-Truth asks him who the little girl running around with face paint is. Then the priest tells him that it is Danhausen. R-Truth then says Miz and Wilson challenged them. The priest then asks if Danhausen gave them a chance because he cursed them, and R-Truth says it was Asuka.
Drew McIntyre then cut a promo stating that Shakespeare could not have written anything better. Drew said afterward that his family was going to see him walk out as champion, but the moment was stolen again. Then Drew says this in turn from Jacob Fatu. Then Drew says he heard excuses, rationalizations and lies. Then Drew says you’re just a criminal and a thief. Drew then says he’s seen people change and you’re just a disgusting, dirty prisoner. Then Drew says you’re here because of your family and you’re their family’s nepotist. Drew then says that next week he will prove you guilty as charged. And Drew says he’ll show Jacob Fatu who he really is.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss then make their way down to the ring for their next match of the night. Bayley and Lyla Valkyria followed, and Wade Barrett revealed that Nikki Bella is rehabbing an ankle injury she sustained last Friday.
Tag match: Sharlexa (“The Queen” Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss) vs. Bayley and Lyra Valkyrie
The match starts with Flair hitting Lyla with some shoulders and chops while Bayley and Bliss fight on the apron. Layla then hits a Thesz press, but Flair hits a kick. Laila then flips Flair over in the corner and Laila hits a spinning heel kick for a near fall. Laila then hits a cartwheel and an enzuigiri. Alexa then tags in and Flair hits a flatliner into the turnbuckle. Alexa then hits a tornado DDT. Alexa then sends Lyla into the turnbuckles, Flair makes the tag and she taunts Bayley. Flair then kicks Rea into the corner. Alexa then tags in and she chops Lyla while Flair holds her. Alexa then nearly falls. Alexa then applies a reverse chinlock.
Laila then hits some forearms and Alexa sends Laila to the mat. Alexa then sends Lyla into the ropes and chokes her. Flair then tags in and chops Lyla. Flair hits an Irish whip and chop on Lyla, and Lyla knocks Bayley off the apron. Alexa then tags in and kicks Lyra. Flair then tags in and hits a snap mare on Lyra. Flair then applies a figure four headscissors and rolls Lyla around the ring. Alexa then tags in and hits a knee drop. Alexa then prevents Lyla from making the tag and Alexa sends Lyla to the mat. Alexa then hits a double knee drop but a somersault senton misses. Flair then makes the tag and stops Lyla from making the tag. Laila then hits some forearms but can’t escape Flair.
Flair then hits a chop and an Irish whip. Laila then hits a crossbody and Bayley tags in. Bayley hits a clothesline and a belly to back suplex. Bayley then kicks Flair and Flair shoves Bayley away. Bayley then hits a knee to the head and puts Flair on the middle rope, and Bayley follows up with a knee drop. Bayley then hits a sunset flip powerbomb for a near fall. Bayley goes up top and goes for an elbow drop, but Flair stops her with a forearm. Flair then hits a chop into the turnbuckle and Bayley hits a forearm. Flair then goes for a superplex, but Bayley blocks it. Layla then grabs Bayley’s leg and Flair heads to the mat.
Lyla then slams Alexa face first into the mat and Bayley sets up and hits an elbow drop. Bayley then gets a near fall. Bayley then hoisted Flair onto her shoulders and Laila hit a swinging neckbreaker off the turnbuckle for a near fall. Flair then shoves Laila into the turnbuckle and Laila hits a kick. Layla then goes for a missile dropkick, but Flair catches her and goes for a bridge figure four, which Bayley saves. Alexa then hit a dropkick to stop Bayley from pulling Laila into the corner for a tag. Lyla then catches Alexa with a crossbody attempt and Lyla goes for Nightwing, but Alexa counters into Sister Abigail. Alexa punches Lyla and Flair stops Bayley. Flair then hit a Natural Selection on Bayley and Alexa hit a Blockbuster on Laila for the win.

After the match, Rush Legend and Nia Jax attack Alexa, Charlotte, Lyla, and Bayley. Nia and Rush then hit a splash on Lyla and Alexa. Rush then applies a bearhug on Bayley and Nia hits a legdrop off the turnbuckle.
We then head to the back where The Miz tells Kit Wilson that the curse is a hoax. And how did they manage to get a tag title match? Danhausen then appears behind Miz and Kit. Danhausen asks if anyone said a curse. And he said he would come to the ring with them to learn from them. Kit then tells Danhausen that it is poisonous. Danhausen then says that he can reverse the curse and win the title. The Miz then tells Danhausen that he better not get in the ring and they will become the new champions. Miz then turns around and Danhausen isn’t there.
Damian Priest and R-Truth then go down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Kit Wilson and The Miz.
WWE Tag Team Championship Match: R-Truth & Damian Priest (c) vs. The Miz & Kit Wilson
The match begins with Kit attacking Truth from behind and Kit kicking Truth away. Kit then hits an uppercut but misses the kick and Truth does some dancing. Truth then throws some punches. Kit then hits a kick, an Irish whip, and an elbow. Miz tags in and Miz hits a kick. In addition, Truth performs two flying shoulder tackles, followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb. Truth then goes for a five-knuckle shuffle, but Miz hits a kick and Kit drops Truth over the top rope. Kit then hits Truth with a flying corkscrew uppercut on the floor. The referee then stopped Priest from going after Kit. Miz then sends Truth to the apron. Miz then moves backwards and backs Truth into the corner. Kit tags and poses. Then they hit the double “Awesome Clothesline.” After that, Kit almost falls over.
Kit then applies a front facelock and tries to keep Truth from making the tag, Kit sends Truth to the mat. Kit then hits a few elbow drops. Kit then chokes Truth onto the ropes and Miz drops Truth onto the top rope. Kit then throws a punch. Then Kit slams his boot into his head. Miz then tags in and hits a wishbone on Truth. Miz follows with a reverse chinlock. Truth then hit the snap mare, avoided Miz and made the tag to Priest. Priest then hits Miz with a right hand. Then Kit comes in and Priest hits a right hand. Priest then hits Miz with an armbar and Miz walks to the top rope. Priest then hits a crossbody from the top rope. Priest then hits a clothesline. He then goes for a cover but Kit breaks it up. Priest then hits a kick to the side of the head and R-Truth makes the tag. R-Truth then grabs Miz, but Miz pushes him away and hits a double clothesline.
Then Danhausen’s music plays and he walks outside. He then places the jar of teeth on the ring apron and gets on the ring apron. Danhausen then wants the tag, so Miz goes to make it, but he realizes it’s Danhausen. The referee then told Danhausen not to take part in the match. Miz then told him to leave. Miz then gets into an argument with the referee. R-Truth then tags Danhausen. When Danhausen entered the ring, Miz told him he wasn’t supposed to be there and to leave. Danhausen then tells him, “You’re cursed,” but Miz stands the referee in front of him. Miz then hits the Skull Crushing Finale and the lights go out. Then they came back and saw Danhausen running. In the ring, R-Truth hits AA on Kit. Miz then hits R-Truth with a Skull Crushing Finale. He then went for a cover and while the referee took the count, he stopped at two and his arm hurt. The referee struggles and Priest makes the tag. Priest then hits South of Heaven. He then went for a cover and the referee gave him a left arm for a three count.

After the match, Cody hits the Cross Rose on Kit Wilson. Cody picked up the microphone and said we all dressed up so Randy could see who he was talking to on the phone. Then Cody said it was Pat McAfee. Cody then says it’s like the third member of the nWo being Disco Inferno instead of Hulk Hogan. He then told Pat he would take the receipt. He then tells Pat that he and everyone he’s with can kiss his a**. Cody then asks if he’s going to fire him.
Cody then says he wants that to be Randy’s 15-year-old legacy. And Cody said, you said it wasn’t personal. Cody says Stephanie told him he had to go to a dark place and become a bad guy. Then Cody said he wasn’t sure if he knew how to do it anymore. Then Cody said he had two kids and a dream job. Cody then mentions how they have set records over the past four years. Cody then says he used to wrestle John Cena, Roman Reigns, and The Rock. Cody then says they were wrestling with him too. And Cody says it’s going to be two of the best wrestlers going against each other. Cody then said he was hearing that voice in his head. Cody then says he doesn’t want to hear their opinion. Cody then attacks backwards.

The match begins with both men locking up and Sami gets a clean break. Hayes then adds a side headlock and waistlock. Sami hits another elbow and Hayes hits a dropkick. Sami then hits a chop and goes for a punch into the turnbuckle. Hayes then pulls Sami face first into the turnbuckle and Hayes hits punches of his own. Sami then hits a clothesline for a near fall. Sami then encounters several more falls. Sami then works out her shoulders. Hayes then hits a springboard clothesline and a splash into the corner. Hayes then stops Sami and puts him on the ropes. Hayes then hits a kick to the back and a springboard legdrop for a near fall. Sami then goes to the floor and Hayes hits a flip dive. Hayes appeared to have injured his left knee and lower leg.
Hayes then brings Sami back into the ring and Hayes tries to regain feeling in his legs. Hayes then hits a chop. Sami then hits a flurry of kicks and punches. Sami then kicks Hayes. Sami then hits a chop. Sami then hits an elbow drop, but gets a series of nearfalls. Hayes then gets a near fall. Sami then hits a crossface. More chops by Hayes and back elbows by Sami. Sami then goes to the turnbuckle and kicks Hayes. Sami then hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. Sami then hits a series of chops and forearms. Hayes then tries to fight back with a forearm slam. Sami then hits a series of chops. Sami then hits a chop and Hayes falls to the mat. Hayes then hits a few forearms.
Sami then misses a clothesline and Hayes hits La Mistica, only to land on his knees and get a near fall. Sami then blocks a first 48. Sami goes for the Exploder in the corner, but Hayes counters with a victory roll for a near fall. Sami then hits an explosive into the turnbuckle. Sami then goes for a helluva kick, but Hayes hits a superkick. Hayes then goes up top and hits a frog splash, but only gets a nearfall. Sami is then crucified on the verge of a fall. Hayes then applies a side headlock. Sami then goes for the Blue Thunder Bomb, but Hayes blocks it and hits the First 48. Hayes then lands off the turnbuckle and collapses in pain. The referee then checks on Hayes and he pulls Sami away. Sami then went for a helluva kick and hit it for the win.

After the match, Lil Yachty enters the ring and says that Sami might be going to WrestleMania to face Trick Williams. Lil Yachty then calls him the gingerbread man and Sami chases him, but Trick hits him from behind. Trick then attacks him with Trick Shot. Lil Yachty then wins the US title and gives the title to Trick Williams. Trick then raises the title and his music hits as the show draws to a close.
