Joe Tessitore then welcomed us to the show and introduced Peter Rosenberg and Big E as co-hosts. Then they talk about PLE. Tessitore then introduces Michael Cole and Corey Graves, who will join the panel from the arena. They then talk about the Undisputed WWE Title Match and the King of the Ring Tournament Finals after it is announced that the PLE will open with the King of the Ring Finals.

WWE Night of Champions Results (6/27/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights
WWE Night of Champions begins with a hype video package narrated by WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.
Michael Cole and Corey Graves then welcomed us to the PLE, and Jey Uso stepped into the ring for the first match of Night of Champions, cheering along with the crowd. Oba Femi then walks towards the ring for the first match of Night of Champions.
King of the Ring Tournament Finals: The Bloodline “Main Event” Jey Uso vs. “The Ruler” Oba Femi
The match begins with Jay removing his wrist tape and arm sleeve while exchanging words with Oba. Oba then grabs Jay and throws him into the corner. Oba then misses a clothesline. After that, Jay throws a series of punches, but the punches he spits have no effect on Oba. Ohba then hits a shoulder tackle. Oba then hits a running uppercut into the corner and Jay falls to the floor. Oba then goes to the floor and punches Jay from behind. Oba then tries to low dart Jay into the ring post, but Jay escapes and sends Oba into the ring post. Jay then performs a suicide dive and goes for a second dive, but Oba remains on his feet and feels damage to his ribs from the second impact. Jay then goes for a third on the other side of the ring and Oba hits a forearm.
Oba then invites Jay into a shoulder breaker. Ohba then hits him with a shoulder in the corner. Furthermore, Oba delivers a strong Irish whip. Oba also throws punches and an Irish whip. Jey then falls to the mat and Oba goes for a chokeslam. Oba then grabs Jay, and Jay escapes and hits a thrust kick and uppercut. Oba then blocks a kick and Oba goes for a sitout powerbomb, but Jey stands up and hits a superkick. Jey then goes up top and hits a frog splash for a near fall. Ohba then hits a chokeslam for a near fall. Jay then struggles to stand up and Oba charges into a thrust kick. Jey then hits two thrust kicks and Jey hits a running shoulder into the corner. Jey then hits the Spear, goes up top and hits the Frog Splash, but Jey can’t capitalize on it.
Jay then goes up top and hits another frog splash for a near fall. Jay then applies a sleeper and adds a bodyscissors. Oba then throws Jay away, and Jay hits a thrust kick. Ohba then hit a running uppercut into the corner, followed by a second one. Oba then hit the Toss Powerbomb, setting up Fall from Grace, which he hit for the win.

After the match, Oba Femi is crowned King of the Ring by Nick Aldis. Byron Saxton then congratulated Oba on becoming the 2026 King of the Ring. Oba says it feels great to go from “The Ruler” to “The King.” Oba then says that Jay didn’t understand what he was up against. Oba then says that you thought you were facing a man, but you can’t win against fate, you can’t win against fate, and you can’t win against him. The Oba then says that he is the ruler, the destroyer, the bringer of war, the mountain that cannot be climbed, and the slayer of beasts. Then Oba holds up the crown.
