The show begins with a meet and greet from Vic Joseph and Wade Barrett.
Tony D’Angelo is then seen asking Robert Stone if Naraku signed the contract. Stone said he hasn’t signed yet and plans to sign his contract tonight. Stone then tells Tony that he doesn’t want to stray from the norm. Tony then stops Aaron Rourke, wishes him luck, and says he’s heard good things about Aaron. Aaron thanks Tony for his kind words.
Aaron Rourke then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Tristan Angels.
WWE EVOLVE Championship Match: Aaron Rourke (c) vs. “Mr. England” Tristan Angels
The match begins with a lockup between both men. Aaron Rourke slaps Tristan Angels in the face and follows up with a shoulder tackle. Rourke then applies a side headlock. Angels then hits an uppercut. Angels then drives his shoulder into Rourke’s midsection. Rourke then fires back with a missile dropkick for a near fall. The Angels then hear Shiloh Hill’s laughter and are distracted. The battle then spills outward. Rourke gets back in the ring and hits Angels with a neckbreaker. Then he misses a kick. Angels then slams Rourke’s face into the mat.
Angels then hits a clothesline for a near fall. The Angels followed up with an Irish whip. The Angels then sent Rourke into the steel post. Rourke then tries to fight back with a series of clotheslines, but Rourke follows up with kicks. Rourke then catches Angels in the air and hits a fallaway slam. Rourke then hits a back body drop. Rourke then follows up with a code breaker for a near fall. Then the Angels missed a pump kick. Rourke is up to the top rope. The Angels then hit the kick, sending Rourke out of play. Then someone drags Angels under the ring. Back in the ring, Rourke hits a superkick on Angels and hits Over the Rainbow for the win.

Tony D’Angelo and Robert Stone then meet Naraku in the parking lot to sign the contract. Naraku says he wants to give Tony the contract himself. Stone then says that Naraku has been having problems ever since he came here. Tony then opens the contract and a fireball hits him in the face.
An ambulance is then seen arriving at the WWE Performance Center to tend to Tony DeAngelo, and the ambulance is seen leaving.
We then see Saquon Sugars waiting for Dion Lennox and Lennox comes down to the ring. Lennox said he has already decided what the Great American Bash will be. Sugars then says he wants to play him one-on-one. Afterward, Sugars says he remembers being ushered to the announce desk by Dark State. Sugars then says he’s not moving out of fear, he’s moving smartly. Sugars then said that he only confirmed that he and Snakehead were the only ones in the center of the ring at the Great American Bash, which is why he eliminated the other Dark State members.
Sugars then says that he thinks he may have let Lennox down. Sugars said Lennox has started acting like a leader. Sugars then says that NXT needed Lennox to fill the position given to him. Sugars then calls Lennox another scammer who attempts to usurp his position. Lennox then says that Sugar couldn’t have been in the Dark State. Lennox then promises to leave Sugars in the past at the Great American Bash. Sugars then says that the Dark State would not exist without him. Sugars then says Lennox knew he was the glue that held Dark State together. Sugars then says he doesn’t think Lennox can tie his boots. Lennox then said that he knows Sugars and the WWE Universe never let Sugars see his backside.
Lennox then says that Sugars can’t do anything on his own. Lennox later stated that dropping Sugars was not a mistake, but a correction. Lennox then calls Sugars his own worst enemy. Lennox then says there will be a moment of hesitation at the Great American Bash. And Lennox vows to expose Sugar this Sunday. Lennox then says that Sugars’ name has already been signed on the dotted line on the death warrant and that he intends to stamp it.
Then we see Hank Walker and Tank Ledger with Matt Matthews and wonder what he’s doing here tonight. Tank said there were three people outside and one of them. We then see The Vanity Project talking to Robert Stone in the background.
Then I met Miles Bourne, and he told me that he had felt uncomfortable all his life. Vaughn says he was a directionless guy at NQCC, but knew what he had to do. Vaughn then says that Tavion Heights is his brother, but he feels like Heights didn’t want to entrust him with him. Heitz said he found his lifelong brother when he started teaming up with Vaughn. Heitz later said he knew “Bourne” would be a success. Then Heights says you didn’t do it yourself. Heights then said that Vaughn became champion but was sidelined. Heights says he will never be forgotten. And Heitz says a win Sunday will prove who he is. Vaughn then said he plans to walk away from the Great American Bash, proving he made the right choice. Wren Sinclair then teaches Tavion Heights how to protect themselves. Then Heights says everyone else has something too. Kendall Gray then appears and Sinclair asks who she thinks will win. Then Sinclair says it doesn’t matter because he’s happy to be champion. Then they discuss how to celebrate the victory on Sunday.
Birthright then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Matt Matthews.
Tag match: Hank & Tank (Hank Walker, Tank Ledger) vs. Birthright (Uriah Connors, Channing “Stax” Lorenzo)
The match started with Uriah Connors and Tank Ledger. After some ups and downs, Hank Walker takes over. Stacks then gets into the brawl and knocks Legge off the apron. BirthRight is now in control. Stacks then drops Walker to his knees. Walker then tries to fight back with a series of chops and follows up with a clothesline. That’s where leisure comes in. Connors tries to interfere, but Walker and Ledger send Connors out of bounds. Walker and Ledger are then seen wiping out Birth Right with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Walker and Ledger hit a splash on Connors in the corner. Walker then hits a standing splash for a near fall.
Stax then takes Walker outside and he drops him to the floor. Connors returns to the ring and continues his beatdown on Walker. Connors then launches a stack on Walker. Stax then applies a rear chin lock. Stacks then takes a club blow to the side of the jaw. Next comes leisure. Ledger then has a fight with BirthRight. Ledger then hits a crossbody off the turnbuckle. Ledger then throws Stax into the turnbuckle and sends him out of the ring. Ledger then hits a forearm under the jaw of Connors. The battle then spills outward. Ledger then takes out BirthRight. Connors returns to the ring and hits Walker with an uppercut. Stacks followed up with an elbow from the top, and Ledger broke a fall.
Both teams are exchanging blows in the center of the ring. Connors then superkicks Walker. Ledger then hits a big knee on Connors. Walker then catches Stax in the air and drops him. Connors then hits a Swanton Bomb in the middle of the ring and all four men are down again. Charlie Dempsey then accidentally knocks out Lexis King. Walker returned to the ring and hit a powerslam on Stax for the win.

Then we see Sarah Shriver and Shiloh Hill. Sarah asks what happened at the Tristan Angels game. Shiloh says she was more nervous at the pageant than at any other competition. Shiloh then says he had to open himself up, but he’s not done yet. Shiloh then says that he thinks it will be even worse for Angel since he is clear. Shiloh then says that he will make the angels regret what they did to him. Then Shiro laughs.
We have since learned that Tony DeAngelo is being treated by a medical team, but there is no update on his condition yet.
He then goes to the office to sign the contract for the NXT Women’s Title match between Kendall Gray and Laura Vice. Kendall says what happened last week was an accident, but Laura says she doesn’t care. Then Laura says she won’t be a part of Kendall’s redemption story. Then Kendall sees what Laura has done and says he wants to do the same thing. They then talk about how they are the top two crossover talents. Lola then says she’ll show them why she’s number one and Kendall is number two. Kendall then says he wants to be at the top of the division and needs to win.
Then Kendall says everyone raised the bar. Kendall then says you’re number one for now. And Kendall says it’s until Sunday when everyone sees what she’s capable of. Kendall then signs the contract. Laura then says that Kendall hasn’t done anything she hasn’t done. Then Laura said she would talk about you and how the women’s division was the best in the world. Then Laura said you would be successful, but not while she was the champion. Laura then says she will defeat Kendall and stay. Then Laura said she would learn how to be humble. Then Laura says you’re going to push the women’s division further, but not until that’s done.
Keanu Carver then makes his way to the ring for his next match of the night, followed by EK Prosper.
Single match: EK Prosper vs. Keanu Carver
The match begins with a lockup between both men. Keanu Carver then slams EK Prosper to the mat. Carver then throws Prosper across the ring. Prosper then hits a series of standing dropkicks. Prosper then follows up with a forearm and a missile dropkick, but Carver isn’t back on his feet yet. Afterwards, Carver continues to assault Prosper. Prosper then tries to fight back but hits a moonsault on Carver. The battle then spills outward. Back in the ring, Carver hits a backbreaker on Prosper for a near fall. Carver then throws Prosper across the ring.
Carver is currently at Prosper’s mercy. Prosper then hits a DDT on Carver. Carver then hits a strong backbreaker for a two count. Carver then slammed Prosper to the mat and Prosper followed up with a release German suplex. Prosper then knocks the taste out of Carver’s mouth, and he follows with Shining Wizard. He then hits a dropkick. The fight then spread outside and Prosper hit a springboard moonsault. Back in the ring, Carver hits Prosper with a clothesline for another near fall. Both men then exchange blows in the center of the ring. Prosper then hits a standing dropkick and hits a leg drop for a near fall. Prosper then goes for a DDT, but Carver hits a shoulder block. Prosper then gets a rollup and wins.

After the match, Keanu Carver roughed up EK Prosper, causing him to crash into the announce desk.
It was then announced that ZARIA would be competing for the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Tatum Paxley at the Great American Bash.
