AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru Results (April 15, 2026): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The show begins with Renee Paquette on the outside and MJF stepping out of the limo. As they begin to talk, Don Callis appears. He told MJF that Andrade owed him for what he did. MJF then told Andrade he would never get a title match and Callis walked away. Renee Paquette then tells MJF that Darby Allin wants a title match tonight and right now. Then MJF gets angry and starts screaming.

He then heads to the ring and Darby Allin makes his exit. Then MJF comes out yelling and says he’s calling a lawyer. And MJF says Aubrey stinks and calls out Allin, pervert Justin Roberts, Tony Khan, AEW, Warner Bros., and all the fans. MJF then asks the fans if they want to watch the match and cheers them on. MJF then says his back hurts from wrestling Kenny Omega for almost an hour, it’s too bad. MJF then says he wonders what would happen to the company if he was forced to play tonight due to injury. MJF then tells Darby that he will be checked out by a backroom trainer, but he is doing Darby Allin a favor by not wrestling.

MJF then says that the reason fans like Darby is because he looks like them. MJF then says he’s good, but not great. MJF then says he’s not championship material. MJF then tells Darby, with love and respect, that he is not ready to be world champion, but Darby takes the microphone. Allin then tells MJF that one night is enough to turn the wrestling world upside down. Allin says if you’re not ready now, you’ll never be. Allin then says he committed suicide for this company and taped posters all over town for tonight’s show. Allyn said he then climbed Mount Everest and raised the flag atop the world. Then Arin said he was ready.

Allin became emotional afterward, saying his career began 16 miles away. Allin then tells himself that he’ll either succeed as Darby or fail as Darby, but he says he wouldn’t change a thing. And Allin wouldn’t change a thing, saying he would climb to the top of the sport tonight. Arin then tells you to ring the bell. Then MJF says he won’t ring the bell. Bryan Danielson stood up and said he got a message from Tony Khan. And Tony agrees with MJF, he says it’s unfair to wrestle when you’re not ready. He then says that there will be a match in tonight’s main event, so Tony will get him ready. He then says that if MJF refuses, he will strip him of the world title. Allin says, “I’m going to punch my ass,” and Darby’s music hits.

We then cut to Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega consoling each other after losing to Jon Moxley and MJF in AEW Dynasty. Despite his disappointment, there seems to be a silver lining for Kenny Omega.

Tommaso Ciampa then makes his way down to the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Desmond Xavier.

Single match: Desmond Xavier of The Rascals vs. “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa

The match started with a right hand from Ciampa, and Ciampa followed up with a kick that sent Xavier falling out of the ring. He then threw Xavier into the barricade and brought him back into the ring. Ciampa then throws Xavier back out of the ring. Then Xavier gets on the ring apron and Ciampa hits him with a knee to the face. Ciampa then throws Xavier towards the ring steps, but Xavier jumps over the steps and returns to the ring. Ciampa then gets in the ring and Xavier hits him with a bunch of right hands. Xavier then goes to the ropes and hits a dropkick. Ciampa then rolls out of the ring.

Ciampa then locks him in a headlock. Xavier then hits a few right hands and escapes. Xavier then hits a cutter followed by a springboard tornado DDT. He then goes for a cover, but Ciampa kicks out. Xavier climbs to the top rope and jumps, but Ciampa moves out of the way. Xavier gets up and Ciampa hits a right hand. He then lifts Xavier up, but Xavier rolls him up and Ciampa kicks out. Then Ciampa is thrown out of bounds and Xavier hits a suicide dive. He then throws Ciampa back into the ring. Xavier then climbs to the top rope and hits a frog splash. He then goes for a cover, but Ciampa kicks out. Xavier then climbs to the second rope and jumps, but Ciampa hits him with a knee to the face. Ciampa then picks him up and powerbombs him onto the knee. Ciampa then lowered his knee pads and hit a running knee to the face for the win.

The winner of the single match is “Psycho Killer” Tommaso Ciampa!

After the match, Ciampa grabbed the microphone and said why because this was an example and he was tired of waiting. Then he says he wants everything. And he said he came because this is the best place for wrestling and he wants all the money. And no matter who wins, Darby Allin or MJF, he says if he doesn’t make himself clear, Psycho Killer will come for the AEW World Title.

Next, we get a video package for the match between MJF and Darby Allin.

FTR then goes down to the ring. Dax Harwood said he was upset because the public likes to root for the underdog (Cop and Cage). And he calls the crowd “fat losers.” He then sent a message to Coop and Cage stating that as long as FTR is champion, these two legends will never have another shot at the title.

Then Stokely says that FTR is Goliath. And he said that there is no competition in FTR and that Tony Khan only signs with CMLL and New Japan Pro Wrestling teams, but they will always fall to FTR. And Cash Wheeler says he will hold a moment of silence for Cope and Christian’s careers.

FTR then mocks them and gives fans a chance to get a 10 second pose, mocking Edge and Christian’s 5 second pose.

Claudio Castagnoli then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Kevin Knight.

AEW TNT Championship Match: “The Jet” Kevin Knight (c) of Jetspeed vs. Claudio Castagnoli of Death Riders

The match begins with a quick pinfall attempt by Knight with several successful reversals. He then slams Castagnoli to the floor with a clothesline, setting him up for a suicide dive. Castagnoli then immediately enters the ring and nails Knight with a lariat. Castagnoli then took control, hitting a body slam and following up with a neck vice. Knight then counterattacked, sending Castagnoli back to the floor and following up with a dive.

Castagnoli then misses an elbow drop and Knight rounds him up for a two count. Castagnoli throws an uppercut, but Knight catches it and hits a scoop slam. He also got a 2 count with a running splash. Castagnoli then falls to the floor again, but Knight chases him and hits a dive over the ropes. Knight attempts a hurricanrana from the corner, but Castagnoli trips and things get messy.

They then had a long reset in the corner and Castagnoli picked Knight up and sent him over the top rope. He eventually threw him back into the ring and jumped on him with an uppercut for a near fall. He then prepares the Neutralizer, but settles for the Giant Swing after the Knight first dodges it. He goes for another catapult into the corner, but Knight jumps onto the turnbuckle and hits a diving lariat. Knight then hit a UFO splash for the win.

Winner and current AEW TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight of JetSpeed!

After the game, Kevin Knight got on the microphone and asked the fans if they missed him. And he gave a shoutout to Castagnoli, one of the hardest-hitting and strongest guys he’s ever stepped into the ring with. Then he said Jett was doing well. And he said he lost the trios title the night before before winning the title. And while he doesn’t blame Speedball for the loss, he said sometimes you have to slow down to get faster. Then he said, “The jet is riding high.” And tonight we have MJF with Darby and I say it’s good for Jett to get two belts.

Next, we recap Ricochet’s win over Chris Jericho on AEW Dynasty.

Renee Paquette gets in the ring and introduces Chris Jericho. She said Ricochet told her last week that she thought Chris was going to get rusty. She then asks him how it feels to be back. Jericho says he feels happy to be back in the ring. Jericho then said that even though he lost, this match was one of his favorite matches for a long time, and that he didn’t think he lost because he was rusty or outnumbered. Jericho then congratulates Ricochet and Ricochet comes out.

Ricochet tells Jericho to listen to him. Ricochet says he respects Ricochet, but Jericho won’t listen. Ricochet then says Jericho got hurt because he signed the contract. Ricochet then says he had to do it and the opportunity was right in his hands. Ricochet then says he had to defeat him with a Lionsault or change his name to Ricochet. Ricochet then praises Jericho for not being completely embarrassed. Ricochet then says that he did pretty well, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Ricochet’s rise. Ricochet then tells her to give him an advantage and quit while he’s in the lead, assuming that’s the case. Ricochet then says Jericho continues to reinvent himself.

Ricochet then says he saw Lionheart, Demogod, Light Up Jacket, and what about the guy who gets spanked by The Demand every time he shows up. Ricochet said this might be the best run of his entire career. Jericho then says Ricoso is cruel. Jericho then says that Ricochet is bald and appreciates him coming out as bald, and that he respects Ricochet’s bald opinion. Jericho then says Ricochet is on stage with two stupid, ugly thugs. Jericho then says he has a proposition for the bald guy: leave the stupid and ugly, get off the bald side and face him one-on-one right now. Ricochet tells Jericho not to call him bald.

Then Jericho says he’s too scared to get off because he’s bald. Ricochet then tells him to stay there no matter what and not to come down to the ring. He then gets in the ring and Jericho hits a hip toss followed by a clothesline. They then come down to the ring and grab Jericho. They then triple team Jericho and stand tall on him.

After “Dynasty,” a video of Renee Paquette interviewing Kazuchika Okada will be shown. Then Konosuke Takeshita walks up to him and mocks Okada for betraying him.

Will Ospreay then makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Hexero, who is introduced to Don Callis.

Single match: “Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay vs. CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Hexero of the Don Callis Family

The match begins with a leg takedown by Hexero, but Ospreay hits a headscissors. Both men get up, but Hexero hits a kick to the head. Hexero then hits a chop to the chest. He then throws Ospreay onto the ropes, but Ospreay hits a hurricanrana and Hexero falls out of the ring. Ospreay then hits a springboard dive on Hexero, who falls to the floor.

Ospreay then hits a standing corkscrew moonsault. He then goes for a cover, but Hexero kicks out. Ospreay then goes for a chop, but Hexero moves and throws Ospreay into the ropes. Ospreay then hits a kick to the side of the head. Ospreay then charges towards Hexero, but Hexero hits a headscissors DDT. He then goes for the cover, but Ospreay gets his foot on the bottom rope. Then Don Callis started yelling at the referee. Hexero then landed several right hands on Ospreay, but the referee broke them up and Ospreay called for a doctor. He then gets in the ring.

Ospreay gets out of the ring. Hexero then runs to the ropes and hits a splash. He then throws Ospreay back into the ring. Hexero then climbs to the top rope and hits an elbow to the back of the neck. He then goes for the cover, but Ospreay kicks out. Hexero then climbs to the second rope, but Ospreay kicks. He then grabs Hexero, but Hexero lands on his feet. Ospreay hits a superkick. He goes for another cutter, but Hexero catches him with an armbar submission. Ospreay stands up and hits a one-arm Styles Clash. Ospreay then hits a Hidden Blade for the win.

The winner of the single match is “Aerial Assassin” Ospreay!

After the match, Ospreay glares at Marina Shafir, but is attacked from behind by Mark Davis. Davis then hits Ospreay with a lariat and a piledriver, leaving Ospreay alone in the ring.

We then get a promo video of Willow Nightingale cut with Dynamite. There, she states that she will end Camille’s comeback on Dynamite tonight.

Renee Paquette is then seen standing on stage, but is quickly interrupted by AEW Women’s World Champion Tecla, who was standing in the crowd. She brags about defeating Jamie Hayter and says this division is full of idiots. Alex Windsor then came out and said he should punch his ass now, reminding Tekla that she was New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Strongest Women’s Champion. She then mocks Thekla for being fired by Japan, which Thekla also admits and says that Japan could not treat her the same way Windsor could not. They then end up having an AEW Women’s World Championship match at Collision, where Windsor fends off attacks from Sky Blue and Julia Hart.

Jon Moxley then cut a promo, stating that he has been studying Will Ospreay for a long time and there is nothing surprising about him. Jon Moxley then said that contrary to popular belief, he doesn’t take pleasure in the pain of others, he sees the beauty in them. Jon Moxley then calls out Nick Wayne, who he will compete against in a Continental Title Eliminator match at Collision. So Moxley told him to leave his mother backstage.

Camille then goes down to the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Willow Nightingale.

AEW TBS Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c) vs. “The Brickhouse” Camille

The match begins with a lockup between both women. Nightingale then hits several right hands. Nightingale then grabs Camille, but Camille hits a kick. Camille then locks in an armbar. She then goes for a splash in the corner, but Nightingale moves out of the way. Nightingale hits more right hands, but Camille hits a kick. Camille then gets on the ring apron and hangs Nightingale’s arm over the top rope. She then gets in the ring, but Nightingale hits her with a few chops to the chest. He grabs Camille more, but Camille hits a right hand.

Both women then hit clotheslines. Nightingale then makes a running shoulder tackle and Camille falls into the corner. Then the nightingale fires a cannonball. She goes for another cover, but Camille kicks out. He then grabs Camille, but is unable to lift her. Camille then punches Rough Rider. She then goes for a cover but Nightingale kicks out. Camille lifts Nightingale up, but Nightingale stands up. He then drives Camille into the corner. Nightingale then got a backslide cover for the win.

Next, we head to the back and see Chris Statlander and Hikaru Shida together, with Shida praising Willow Nightingale. Afterwards, they say they will team up again for Collision.

MJF is then seen walking through the backstage area. The camera then cuts to Darby Allin and Renee Puckett. Then they stop and Sting appears. He tells Darby he knows what to do. Darby then says it’s show time and Sting says no, it’s his time and he’ll go get it.

Darby Allin then makes his way down to the ring for the main event of the night, followed by MJF.

AEW World Championship Match: MJF (c) vs. Darby Allin

The match begins with MJF calling timeout and pulling a dynamite diamond ring from his trunk. He then handed it to the referee and low blowed Allin behind the referee’s back. MJF goes for another headlock, but Allin throws MJF into the ropes. MJF then stops in front of the referee. Allin then hits a low blow. Allin then hits a Scorpion Deathdrop. Allin then hits a coffin drop and follows up with another coffin drop. He then hits a third coffin drop. Allin then climbs to the top rope and hits the coffin drop again. Allin then hits a side headlock cover for the win.

Winner: New AEW World Champion Darby Allin!

After the match, the locker room is empty and he enters the ring to celebrate with Allin. Sting also goes outside to celebrate with Allin. Sting then hugs Darby Allin. Allin then retains the AEW World Championship and stands tall as the show draws to a close.
