Mercedes Monet left WWE in May 2022 and has been thriving in AEW since then. Despite her success, many fans still wish to see her back in WWE. However, the AEW CEO is discouraging any desires for her to return to WWE.

During a live Instagram session, Mercedes Moné playfully teased her fans, calling those who miss her "crybabies." She reminded them they can see her weekly on AEW Dynamite and, in just 10 days, watch her compete for the AEW Women’s Championship.

“Awww I Miss Baby Noises Crybaby. You can see Mercedes Monet every week on AEW Dynamite. In 10 days, you can see me in AEW when I become the AEW women’s champion. Thank you.”

In addition, the AEW CEO has asked fans to stop referring to her as Mercedes Hogan. Mercedes Monet once contemplated leaving wrestling altogether after her WWE departure, but she revealed that leaving WWE actually made her the highest-paid woman in wrestling. She has no interest in returning to WWE and is focused on winning championships worldwide while building her legacy in AEW. The upcoming AEW Women’s Title match in Texas will be a key moment for her.

Do you think Mercedes Monet is better off leading in AEW, or would you prefer to see her make a WWE comeback? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Fan Take: Mercedes Monet’s rise in AEW highlights how talent can flourish outside WWE, challenging the company’s dominance. For WWE fans, her success in AEW adds an exciting dimension to women’s wrestling and could push WWE to invest more in their female superstars to keep up with the competition.
