Nikel was shot shortly after midnight on Friday near East Highway 12, close to Rogers, Arkansas, as reported by the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. When deputies arrived, the 41-year-old wrestler was found with abdominal bleeding and was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

“A man was shot and killed near Rogers early on Friday morning,” stated Lt. Col. Shannon Jenkins, a spokesperson for the Benton County Sheriff’s Office. Jenkins mentioned that no further details have been released at this moment.
