Several WWE legends have arrived in town for Evolution 2.
The all-women’s pay-per-view event is making its return on July 13th after a seven-year hiatus. It will take place live at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. However, there’s some controversy surrounding the event, as fans have expressed frustration over the lackluster buildup leading to the show.
Ticket sales have been slow, and many fans have questioned the scarcity of legendary wrestlers involved. For example, Kelly Kelly recently disclosed that she declined the invitation because she didn’t want to just be a spectator. Currently, Nikki Bella and Trish Stratus are the only veterans officially listed on the official pay-per-view cards.
Fightful Select has now confirmed a few additional names attending the event, including Jazz, Leilani Kai, Torrie Wilson, and Madusa—all present in Atlanta for the show.
Despite her recent appearances in NXT, Gail Kim is not expected to be at Evolution 2. Although her relationship with WWE’s current management is said to have improved compared to the past, and she is widely regarded as one of the women’s revolution pioneers, Kim has decided not to participate in this event.
Trish Stratus has also voiced her concerns about the rushed buildup to Evolution 2, highlighting the dissatisfaction among some fans and insiders.
