On Sunday, August 24th, AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling will jointly present this year’s Forbidden Door 2025 event at the O2 Arena in London, England. Following the excitement generated by AEW in Texas 2025, this year’s Forbidden Door has recaptured much of the initial excitement that made the early editions so memorable.
The event is expected to feature several new stars making their debuts, either coming over from partner promotions or officially signing with AEW. Here are seven wrestlers who could potentially debut at AEW Forbidden Door 2025:
7. Isla Dawn
In February, WWE underwent a talent release that included 11 wrestlers, among them former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn, who spent almost seven years with the company. At 31, Isla Dawn is still in the prime of her career and has plenty to offer the wrestling world. Joining AEW’s expanding women’s roster could be an important new chapter for Dawn, starting with her debut at Forbidden Door 2025.
