In his post, Khan mentioned that after debuting at Fighter Fest on June 4th, Thekla was placed on probation due to her character’s storyline attacks involving Stardom’s president. With the probation period over, Khan confirmed her elite status, much to the delight of fans who appreciated the narrative creativity. Despite some wrestlers facing delays, Thekla received her elite status graphics sooner than other characters like RJ City. Though she only officially earned her elite status recently, Thekla has been a regular presence in AEW since late May. She won her debut match against Lady Frost at Fyter Fest, participated in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match at All In, and recently claimed $100,000 in a four-way bout against Queen Aminata, Chris Starlander, and Willow Nightingale on the July 16 episode of AEW Dynamite. Currently, Thekla is involved in a feud with Aminata following an injury to former rival Jamie Hayter, and she’s set to team with Skye Blue and Julia Hart following her recent victory.
