Becky Lynch has unveiled a new entrance theme.
The women’s Intercontinental Champion hinted at a collaboration with The Band The Wonder 2018 ahead of her upcoming title defense at the SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
When “The Man” introduced her fresh entrance music during two recent WWE Premium Live Events, it was clear the teaser was about her new WWE theme.
For the past ten years, Becky Lynch had been using the “Celtic Invasion” theme, composed by former WWE Music Producer CFO $. The new theme marks a shift, allowing her to move away from the preferred style of Def Rebel, which started dominating WWE Music Productions in 2019.
On the show, the IC Champion defended her title against Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification match. Lynch employed every weapon at her disposal, but Valkyria demonstrated impressive resilience, enduring all of Lynch’s attacks.
Bailey appeared near the ring in the final moments and prevented Becky from using the Cloverleaf submission on her opponent. Unfortunately for Valkyria, Bailey accidentally struck her while attempting to stop Becky, which gave Lynch the opportunity to retain the title.
According to the match rules, Lyra Valkyria cannot challenge for the IC title as long as Becky Lynch remains champion. This could signal an intriguing future rivalry between Valkyria and Bailey.
Fan Take: This fresh theme and the intense rivalry add exciting layers to Becky Lynch’s character and storyline, keeping fans engaged. The evolving dynamics with Valkyria and Bailey hint at thrilling developments for WWE’s women’s division, raising the stakes for future events.
