WWE RAW Results (8/4/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show will open in a video package that will re-block last weekend’s WWE Summerslam Ple. Michael Cole and Corey Graves welcome us to the show as they see the arrival of WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss and WWE Women’s World Champion Naomi in the arena.
The WWE Drone jumps into the Barclays Center and Seth Rollins music hits. Rollins then heads into the ring with Bron Breaker, Bronson Reed and WWE Hall of Fame Paul Heyman. Rollins embraces his three allies if they’re all in the ring. After the theme of the Rollins entrance was played, there was a big “CM Punk” chant. Paul Heyman then introduces himself and points to the World Championships, saying that it is proof that he is a goat. Heyman says he’s not the greatest ever, but your humble oracle. Heyman says he is humbled by the fact that he is standing here in front of the future of WWE, the big dog patrolling our yard. Heyman says he is humbled by the fact that he stands in the same ring as the tribal thief, the owner of the Roman shoes. Heyman then says he will introduce the champion’s rule of Rome at this point, but Roman was not the champion for a year and a half.
Heyman says he will introduce CM Punk as the champion, but Punk wasn’t long enough to place the side plate on the title belt. Heyman says Punk had one of the best title matches against Gunther. Heyman says that not only did Rollins crash the wedding, but he also stole the honeymoon with the title. Heyman then makes a big introduction for Rollins as the new champion and gives him the microphone. Fans then sing the theme of Rollins’ entrance before he speaks.
Rollins then says that after he won the WrestleMania 41 match, all fans who turned their backs on him should be ashamed of cheering for Punk and supporting governance. After that, Rollins tells the fans not to doubt him again, he always has a plan B, and this plan B was a top-secret. Rollins then says that the only people he spoke about his plans were his wife Becky Lynch and Heyman, who achieved what he undertook alongside Heyman, Blakeker and Reed. Rollins then says that he, Heyman, Blakeker and Reed have absolute power and no one can stop him.
