WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently shared reflections on his illustrious career filled with memorable table crashes, highlighting particularly embarrassing moments involving fellow Hall of Famer Kane. In a new video on his YouTube channel, D-Von recounted some of his most iconic table bumps, singling out the times he was choked through a table by Kane.
“I sometimes feel embarrassed about what happened on my own channel, and getting beat up by Kane is definitely one of my most humiliating moments,” Dudley said. “Kane basically suffocated me through the table, shaking my legs violently. I was flopping around like a little fish. But I loved working with Kane.”
D-Von described the physical impact of that specific fall, rating it a five out of ten in difficulty and calling it one of the hardest of his career. “Did it hurt? Absolutely,” he explained. “Even with that black mat underneath, it’s still concrete beneath it. The force of your body going through the table makes it collapse, then the mat becomes an even smaller cushion.”
He added, “Table bumps definitely hurt, but they never incapacitated me or prevented me from working the next day. It sent shockwaves through my body. That was probably the toughest fall I ever took, especially coming from a 7-foot giant like Kane.”
D-Von also reflected on his outstanding career, emphasizing he was always respected as a true professional in the ring. He noted he never sought to demean opponents on his channel and held great respect for everyone he faced.
