The show welcomes Excalibur and Tony Ciaborne towards the ring to “American Dragon” Brian Danielson join the commentary.
Will Osprey’s music hits and he moves towards the ring. Ospreay thanked his fans for their warm welcome and says he can always count on Glasgow and remember the first time he wrestled there. Osprey then says he’s disappointed fans and thanked him for supporting him over the years as they grew up in front of everything.
Osprey then says he thought he was invincible until last week he was told he hadn’t been cleared for his actions at the door that were forbidden for what the Death Rider did to him. Ospreay then says he knows that other wrestlers are walking on roads that won’t return, but he is still competing in Sunday’s Lightout Steel Cage match as it is essentially an unlicensed match. Osprey then says he is aware of the risk, but the UK means a lot for him and he will be the standard for AEW. Osprey says he intends to leave it all in the ring, even if there is a bit of a chance he won’t be able to become Osprea after Sunday. Osprey then says that when he enters the cage with his four good friends, he tears the Death Rider. Osprey then says he’ll take a pound of meat before Moxley can slurp him.
John Moxley and Marina Shafir head towards the ring. Moxley then stares at Osprey as Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Utah join Moxley. Osprey then tells Moxley that he is coming for him on Sunday and tells him that if he wants to come for him tonight, he should send his boy after him. “Speedball,” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight and Tanaka Nishijima are accompanied by Osprey aid and bells ring for the first match of the night.
Trio Match: Death Rider (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi and Jetspeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey)
The match begins with Tanahashi clearing Utah and Claudio. Moxley and Tanaka then exchange strikes. Moxley then grabs Tanahashi’s left arm and tags him with Castagnoli. Utah is then tagged when he sends Tanaka to the mat. Tanaka then heals and defeats Yuta. Bailey is then tagged. He nails Utah with a big x-kick. Bailey then hits the Shooting Star Press and covers Utah with two counts. He is then tagged by Castagnoli, who drops Bailey down and scoos him up, slams him. Castagnoli then smacks Bailey with her left ear. Shafir then pulls the knight away from the apron and is captured by the judge and sent behind him. Castagnoli then picks up Bailey and swings him around. Ospreay then leaves from behind, picks up Shafir and takes him to the backstage area.
Castagnoli then kicks the knight in his head and tries to fight back. Knight then nails Castagnoli with a thrust kick. Moxley then comes in and gets kicked by the Knight. Knights will be tagged with Tanahashi. Tanaka takes Moxley and Castagnoli down on an elbow strike. Tanahashi falls out of Utah’s top landing. He then covers Utah with two counts. Moxley is then tagged, but sent to the floor. Bailey then jumps out of the rope with a big moono and lands on Moxley on the floor. Knight then hits Castagnoli with Moonzoo. Tanaka attacks Uta with a sling blade.
Gabe Kidd and Bullet Club War Dogs bumped into an apron and pulled out Jetspeed. Utah and Ternahashi are located on the top rope. After that, Ospreay comes out with someone with a body bag. Tanaka then bumps into Moonzoo on a distracted Utah and covers him for victory.
Trios Match winners Tanahashi hiroshi and Jetspeed (“The Jet” Kevin Knight and “Speedball” Mike Bailey)!
After the match, Death Rider and Ward Dog defeated Jet Speed and Tanaka in the ring. Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson were then blindsided Ospreys from behind, but Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly come to help Osprey and brawl along with him. Assuming Shafir is in a body bag, the Death Rider will thaw it and see that the Derby Allin is actually inside. After that, the OPPs continue to fight each other and run to the ring. Allin then deals out one of the entrance tunnels with a drop of co, nailing Death Rider and War Dogs in the crowd, and bumps into it in OPPS.
The commentary highlights the title match and the Forbidden Door of the AEW World, which will appear this Sunday, and highlights that it will lead us to a video package.
Tony Ciaborne then introduces Adam Copeland and Christian Cage, who moves towards the ring. Cage starts by sitting in Glasgow and telling him to close his mouth, closing his mouth when he does business, but Copeland grabs the microphone from him and questions what he’s doing. Cage says he was still the same bad guy as him, but what he’s learned over the years is that sometimes you need that bad guy.
Cage then says in Texas at AEW, Copeland told him to find himself. After that, Cage says it took a little time to do it and he finds himself. Cage says he discovers that he doesn’t have to change things because he is perfect as he is. Cage says people may wonder if he and Copeland are on the same page. Cage says that isn’t the case, but at least at this point I’ve written in the same book. After that, Cage says he knew people wanted a happy and cheerful reunion between him and Copeland, but that’s inevitably a reunion. Cage says that Copeland agreed to help Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian as long as he’s helping Copeland deal with the FTR. I know that his words don’t really mean much to Copeland these days, but his current version will be the best tag team partner he’s ever had.
Cage then reaches out his hand to Copeland, which Copeland shakes. Sabian’s voice then cuts off the two men and he appears with Mother Wayne. Sabian says Copeland and Cage are pathetic, and her mother Wayne asks people to those who boo herself and Sabian. Nick then appeared on the big screen, saying he wasn’t too late to the cage last Wednesday. Nick says that the cage spiked the bat and hit the ring, and he didn’t take off his head, but he broke his leg. Nick says that if he shows up at the forbidden door, he will turn the reunion into a quick breakup. Nick tells Cage that he will always be one step ahead of him.
The video then begins to play, indicating that Killswitch is being taken back from the dead at the medical table. He then goes on his way to the ring, but Cage sees Sabian sneaking him up as the Kill Switch Nails Copeland. He then looks to stare at the ring cage and leaves, but turns around and suffocates both Copeland and Christian. Killswitch is confirmed as a replacement partner for prohibited doors.
Mark Brisco is then shown in the backstage area where he is looking for MJF and promises to kill him.
Then head backwards, where Ricochet and the Gate of Suffering cut the promotion. After that, MJF appears and says that his enemies are looking for him. MJF says he’s looking for help. Ricochette then says he’s in a deal and they tell the photographer to go out.
The FTR then heads into the ring for the next match of the night, followed by Brodido.

The FTR then doubles the king, sends him through the rope, and is attacked by a loaded sling. Dax then goes to the floor and grabs the microphone. He then tells the fans to respect Big Stoke as the King is bleeding from his forehead and is bleeding beside the announcement desk.
King returns to the ring and he tags with a bandid. Bandido nails the Dachshunds. The cash is returned, but it will be sent to the floor just like with the DAX. The bandid then jumps up, but is caught by the FTR and sends his head first to the apron. The Dachshund chops the bandid. The king is in the apron. Dax then hits Brainbuster on Bandido and covers him with two counts. FTR then double the Team Bandid. Cash is then tagged and he only covers Bandido for two counts. The bandid then falls out of the top with a big cross and covers Dax with two counts.
Wheeler then crashes King into the ring post and hits the tornado DDT from the ring post. The Ducks then hits the back suppression with the king off the rope, and Wheeler hits a frog splash from across the other side of the ring. The ring announcer declares that 25 minutes have already passed in the match. Both teams then continue to fight each other. The ring announcer then declares that there are only two minutes left in the match as it appears that Bandido will hit 21 plexes on the DAX. Wheeler comes to Dax’s aid in a minute to go out to the match. Wheeler and Dax set up the table in one of the barricades with only 30 seconds left. King then sends Wheeler and Ducks to the opposite barricade, crashing Wheeler through the table when the match time limit expires.
