The show opens while Michael Cole and Wade Barrett welcome us, but sees a shot of Host City. Cole then talks about the arrival of Solosicore, MFTS and Samizain.
Then we’ll go back to ringside as hype in comments before we see the face-off between John Cena and Logan Paul from last week’s show. Next, we see how SmackDown ended before Logan Paul heads to the parking lot into the arena.
The crowd then welcomes Paul with a boo chorus as he heads to ringside with an exaggerated commentary on his match against John Cena in the Paris crash. Paul has a microphone and he calls China a parasite, but he claims he is the destroyer. The crowd at the time screams indecency at Paul, and they tell them to stop as they are calm on TV. Paul then enters what brought WWE to and quotes his deals with Netflix and ESPN. Paul welcomes TKO. Paul says he even brought Prime to WWE, making WWE a WW-ME. Paul says Cena represents an outdated, institutionalized wrestling that keeps fans comfortable.
Paul says he’s mad at how Cena told him to bring his A-game so that he wasn’t an athletic phenomenon. Paul then speaks a bit of French and gives an exclamation point about what he thinks about Cena, then says that what he doesn’t get is left behind. Paul is interrupted when John Cena arrives in a huge pop from the Lyon crowd. The crowd sings along the Chinese theme. He enters the ring and gives the entire arena another thunder oval with “China” chants ringing out. The crowd then recites China’s name again, and receives an introduction to “Invisible 17,” which will be celebrated one last time in Lyon. Cena then finally speaks, and he calls Logan Paul stupidly. Cena tells Paul, “You can’t do this on your own. If there’s no fans, there’s nothing.”
Cena says she sees so many possibilities for Paul, and that’s what makes him so mad. Paul says he wants to take his business to new heights, but he doesn’t want to put ounces in understanding the business. Cena says Paul is not a destroyer, but cites his career as saying he did what Logan Paul is doing now. Cena then calls for Paul’s comments on bringing fans Netflix and ESPN. Cina says it is his influence that brings all this, but Paul’s influence is not his former influence. Cena says she saw a list released on the top 25 influencers of all time. Cena says Druski, Ishowspeed and others were not Paul. Cena then says that Paul made a video of stunts and pranks when he was on the front page at 18 and 30. That was the wrong reason.
Cena continues running down the pole when interrupted by chants from the crowd. After that, Cena speaks a bit of French. It gets pop from the crowd. Paul calls out stupid things to get more boos before Cena cuts him off. Cena then leaves the ring while talking about having respect and respect for this family.
Cena then raises the ramp and finds the boy she handed out on the road to WrestleMania a few months ago, saying he’s a pity. Cena then returns to the ring, and Paul tells him to envelop it in a “professional playr.” He then reminds “d*** head” that Paul is someone who wants this match, so he’s better off honing the game.
After that, we head backwards. There, we hear from street profits ahead of the candidate’s match against Melo Not Miz. They are then interrupted by Uncle Howdy. Howdy says when Street’s profits fail, they have to find out if they are really brothers.
